I arrived at the restaurant around 3 pm on Wednesday. I came to Shinjuku for a hospital visit and decided to check out this place after searching for burger joints. I was curious about J.S.BURGERS too, but since there is a branch at Lalaport Ebina with a not-so-high rating of 3.10 on Tabelog, I wondered if the urban factor was influencing it. So, I ended up at this restaurant. It is a branch of "The Great Burger" in Harajuku, which has a Tabelog rating of 3.59. The restaurant is located right after you exit the Central East Exit gate. The interior has a white wood paneling that is a bit different from the typical American style, more appealing to young women. The main customers are women in their 20s, with only a few male customers, mostly couples. It's a unique customer base for a burger joint. They use special natural yeast buns for all their burgers, which come with tomato, lettuce, diced onions, relish, ketchup, and mustard. They also provide Heinz ketchup and mustard, black pepper, and salt on the table. I ordered the Cheeseburger for 1,180 yen, which came with a baby leaf salad and a drink as part of the lunch set. The bun had a perfect brown color with a glossy finish, and the crown was toasted with sesame seeds, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The melted cheddar cheese, fresh tomato, and lettuce were appetizing, and the patty was juicy and flavorful. The thin shoestring potatoes served as a side were also delicious. I devoured the burger in no time as it was so tasty. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into making a high-quality burger.

I made a reservation using points and arrived at the restaurant. The place was crowded with young customers and it was noisy. I wanted to relax and have some tea, so I planned to order French toast with whipped cream and coffee. However, to my surprise, they said the hot coffee machine was broken and they couldn't serve it. I ended up ordering hot Assam tea. When it arrived, the French toast was large and tasty, but the tea was lukewarm despite the warning that the pot was hot. The cost performance was not great. The customers next to me, who were with children, were getting angry because their orders were not going through. I don't think I will visit this restaurant again.

I arrived around 3 pm and it was very crowded due to the holiday. However, the turnover rate was fast, so I was able to enter without waiting too long. I ordered a hamburger and waffles, which were served quickly and tasted really delicious. The atmosphere of the staff was also nice with an American vibe. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Visited on Sunday! There were several groups waiting, but the turnover was relatively fast and we were able to get in after about a 15-minute wait. There were sofa seats and quite a few families with children. We were able to bring in the stroller. The recommended Smile Burger Peanut Butter was innovative and delicious. The fries were average. The dessert received high praise...?

On Saturday night, we were seated quickly even though we weren't together. The serving time felt a bit long, but the salad portion was huge! The combination of cheese, nuts, and apples was great! The hamburger was also really delicious! The meat was cooked just right.

Visited the store at 4:00 pm after shopping in Shinjuku. Located on the 7th floor of Lumine Est, there were many young women waiting in line, about 4 groups. Waited for about 10 minutes to enter. Originally planned to satisfy my hunger with dessert, but ended up sharing a burger with another person. Ordered Avocado Mozzarella Burger for 1720 yen, with potato, Apple Pie for 800 yen, Orange Cream Soda for 880 yen, and Lemonade for 715 yen. The Orange Cream Soda is blue in color but tastes strongly of orange. The ice cream was rich and delicious. The atmosphere and the location directly connected to Shinjuku Station are probably the reasons for the high prices. The burger was not very satisfying considering the price. Recommended for those who are tired and don't want to walk around. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for lunch. I was prepared to wait in line because I thought it would be crowded, but when I arrived, I was second in line and was seated right away. I ordered a cream soda and chicken over rice. I chose the cream soda because it was white, but I actually wanted orange. For some reason, it was blue, so I changed my mind. I was worried about the cream soda melting from the beginning, haha. The chicken over rice came later, so the cream soda kept melting and by the time it arrived, it was all gooey at the top. This time I used it for lunch, but if I have the chance to try the limited edition chocolate mint, I would like to go again.

This place feels like an American-style restaurant! Personally, I didn't find the fries very tasty... I think McDonald's fries are better! The burgers are decently sized and not bad, but they don't seem worth the price... If I'm paying this much, I feel like there are other burger places that are tastier.

The kids wanted pancakes, so we decided to go to this place. The wait was about 20 minutes, but there were chairs outside where we could wait comfortably. We ordered the limited edition strawberry pancakes and a kids' cheeseburger (without tomatoes) which was recommended on the menu. We also had jasmine tea and milk to drink. The total cost was a bit over 5000 yen, which was a bit surprising, but the kids were happy so it was worth it. The pancakes turned out to be waffles, but they were delicious with lots of strawberries on top. The burger was a hit with the kids, and we were so full that we struggled to finish everything. Overall, it was a great meal.

Mozzarella Mushroom Burger
Located inside Shinjuku Lumine, this burger joint was quite popular and crowded. They had a wide variety of menu options. I love cheese and mushrooms, so I chose the perfect combination. It was simply delicious. However, the friendliness and service of the staff were a bit disappointing.

I wanted to have pancakes for dessert in Shinjuku, so I searched on Tabelog and found a restaurant called Lumine Est on the restaurant floor. The restaurant had a high percentage of female customers. The pancakes looked delicious, as well as the hamburgers, but I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered pancakes and coffee. The pancakes had a nice balance of salty butter and sweet maple syrup, and paired well with the bitterness of the coffee. It was very delicious. Definitely worth the wait in line!

Around 3:00 PM on Saturday, looking for a place to sit, the entrance fee was quite high overall. Soft drinks cost around 700 yen. The hamburger was average for the price. I ordered a smoothie, but it wasn't that great either. I won't be coming back.

I enjoyed a stylish lunch and the staff were very kind to the children. The restaurant was empty at 12 o'clock, but by the time we left, it was really crowded. The cheeseburger was delicious, with a generous portion! The kids' hamburger was also tasty and they finished it quickly. We will definitely come back.

Restaurant review of a hamburger shop in Lumine Est 7th floor, a building directly connected to the station. Went with children to this stylish floor filled with fashionable ladies, and decided to try a hamburger shop affiliated with a store in Harajuku. It was a Sunday and there was no wait, so we were able to enter smoothly. The spacious and American casual atmosphere inside the restaurant was welcoming, with friendly staff. Ordered a hamburger for 1330 yen and an iced coffee for 630 yen. The hamburger was quickly prepared, similar to a regular chain burger joint, but with various flavors and a delicious patty. The buns were fragrant and tasty. The cheeseburger ordered for the kids had melty cheese and a tangy ketchup that wasn't too sweet, which was not exactly kid-friendly but still enjoyable. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

The Smile Salad is delicious! The apple and avocado Camembert salad is amazing! It truly lives up to its name. The sour cream chili sauce potatoes are also delicious. I ended up eating too much of my friend's order because it was so good. The pancakes were basic but the flavor of the batter was rich and tasty. While the fluffy pancakes that are popular nowadays are good, these are the ones that hit the spot for longtime pancake lovers! Thank you for the meal.

I used it for lunch with my friend. The restaurant was crowded, but we were able to be seated without waiting. There were many menu options, but I decided on the Gorgonzola Honey Burger and Melon Soda. The burger had a rich but not overpowering taste with a meaty patty, Gorgonzola, and honey, which was delicious. However, the fries that came with the set were very salty, which was disappointing. Also, one of the staff members had a somewhat blunt attitude and placed coasters and napkins on the table in a sloppy manner, which was surprising. It stood out in a negative way compared to the other staff members who were friendly. Thank you for the meal.

I was planning to eat curry today, but suddenly felt like having a hamburger, so I went to a place I had marked before. When I looked at the menu, everything looked delicious and I spent over 5 minutes deciding which hamburger to order. In the end, I ordered the biggest one! The taste was just amazing. However, maybe the oversized one is not suitable for a date. The pancakes after the meal had a bit of sourness. I prefer sweet ones, so it wasn't to my liking, but I was satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

Located on the 7th floor of Lumine Est in Shinjuku, American dining spot THE SMILE offers a West Coast vibe with a predominantly white decor. The atmosphere is popular among younger customers, perhaps due to its convenient location. The Avocado Cheeseburger is priced at 1,720 yen (tax included), which may seem a bit on the higher side considering the quality. The burger comes with French fries that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The buns are made with special natural yeast bread that is shiny, crispy, and fluffy. Each burger includes tomato, lettuce, minced onion, relish, ketchup, and mustard. The patty is meaty and rich with cheese, offering a delicious but somewhat forgettable taste. However, you can adjust the flavor with ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Enjoy a burger in an American-style atmosphere with easy access. In addition to burgers, the menu also features sandwiches, waffles, omelets, salads, and a variety of dishes for children.

Popular gourmet burger restaurant in Harajuku. Smile, a production store affiliated with The Great Burger, is located in Lumine. Other restaurants in this group include San Francisco Peaks, Brooklyn Pancake House, and Hohokam. Head to the 7th floor of Lumine Est. The clientele and interior are both cute and youthful. The 8th floor has also been renovated into a sparkling food court. Among them, Smile offers cafe dining with a focus on burgers. It feels like you've stepped into a home in America. The signature SMB Smile Burger costs 1,870 yen, with hot coffee for 550 yen. The burger features special sourdough buns that are baked hard and spread with peanut butter on the surface. This gives it a fragrant, creamy, and slightly sweet taste. The peanut butter may be a love-it-or-hate-it element. Conveniently located near the station and open late, Smile is a great dining option. Thank you for the meal!

I met up with a friend who was going to Haneda Airport through Shinjuku Pasta for lunch. I thought I made a reservation at Lumine, which is easily accessible from the bus terminal, but it turned out to be at Lumine Est, a bit further from the bus terminal. I felt bad for my friend... The restaurant had a refreshing West Coast American diner vibe, with cute and pop decor. Lumine Est's restaurant area had many cute shops, but this one stood out the most. They offer guilty pleasure menu items like hamburgers, pancakes, waffles, and French toast. I visited with my son and another friend on a weekday for lunch, and made a reservation through Tabelog. Thanks to the reservation, we were seated at a spacious booth! I ordered the Hitachino Nest Beer Yuzu Lager for lunch, because when it comes to burgers, you need a beer. It had a fruity and citrusy aroma, very easy to drink! I ended up struggling to finish one glass. The Hickory Burger had a unique smoky flavor and richness from a renowned LA burger shop. It had a subtle smokiness, but was full of flavor. The patty was meaty and delicious. The Kids Slider was a children's burger. I asked for no tomatoes since my son doesn't like them. It was authentically made, like a mini version for adults. My youngest son, with a child's palate, didn't really enjoy it, so I ended up eating most of it... The Chocolate Sundae was a classic American dessert. It had a generous amount of cream and chocolate, both in appearance and taste. This place is perfect for a casual and stylish lunch, guaranteed to be popular among women! The burgers were satisfying and I would like to try other items on the menu. Despite it being a weekday, the prices were a bit on the higher side without any special lunch menu. They didn't offer a children's menu until I asked, which made me feel a bit disappointed... The pairing of burgers and craft beer was definitely delicious, so overall, I would give it a thumbs up.
