I had a hamburger set with avocado topping at a burger restaurant in Kitayama. It came with salad and a drink. It was delicious. However, it cost around 2000 yen, so I thought it might be a restaurant for wealthy people in Kitayama. Poor students like me can't afford to come here often.

I ordered lunch menu B set with a drink. The B set allows you to choose one burger from three options, and it comes with half salad and half potato. You can also choose additional toppings. The burger was thick and very delicious. It was the weekend, but the restaurant wasn't too crowded, so I was able to sit down right away.

Hamburger, salad, potato, and oolong tea set. It was evening so I was a bit surprised that it was over ¥2,000 even though it was lunch price, but when I saw the huge portion, I couldn't help but agree! "Can I really eat all of this?" I thought, but surprisingly, I finished it all. The burger was big in every aspect, from the buns to the fillings, and had a strong presence. The sauce that tied it all together was also flavorful. The potato, which seemed to be equivalent to 2-3 large potatoes, I thought I might get tired of it halfway through, but I ended up finishing it all without getting bored. They were hand-cut so the sizes and thicknesses varied, resulting in different textures and flavors, keeping it interesting. The seasoning was also well done. The parking lot was free for 1 hour with a purchase of over ¥1,000, and the Fruit Park around the corner from the restaurant was a nice bonus.

The burger set with a generous portion was delicious and satisfying. It was my first time visiting, and they even have a parking lot nearby that you can use with a map provided by the restaurant. The location is easy to find even without a map, but having one was a helpful service. The burger was hot and filling, and they offer both a full portion and a half portion of fries. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, so I finished them in no time.

I visited this place for the first time and ordered Set A. The burger was delicious, but first, they served a salad which was unexpected. The burger and fries came on the same plate, and the burger was surprisingly big. I had to ask my companion to help me finish the fries. The taste was great, with crunchy onions and flavorful meat patty. I had a bit of trouble finding the parking lot as I had to circle around a few times. It would be helpful if they could provide clearer directions. Also, it's better to get a receipt at the parking lot. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

It's an American-style restaurant. When you open the menu, you'll find a variety of options from standard to unique dishes. It can be overwhelming with so many choices. I love blue cheese, so I ordered the Gorgonzola burger. Before it was served, I read the instructions on how to eat it to get excited. Hmm, I see, I should press it down a bit, forget about being shy, and eat it carefully so my jaw doesn't dislocate. I imagined how big the burger would be. When it was served, it was indeed huge! And it smelled so good! I followed the instructions and took a bite. The flavor of Gorgonzola spread in my mouth. The coarsely ground patty, sweet onions, and crispy lettuce all combined perfectly. It was delicious. It's quite a challenge to taste everything in one bite without pressing it down. It was a satisfying burger. Thank you for the meal.

While walking in Kitayama, I came across a shop with an American atmosphere. I decided to try their burgers instead of going to the planned restaurant. I ordered a regular hamburger and a pepper hamburger. The regular hamburger had a pure meaty flavor and was soft and delicious. The pepper hamburger had a strong pepper flavor, giving it a unique and fragrant taste. The meat was slightly firmer than the regular hamburger, but it was also delicious in its own way. I would love to visit this place again when I have the chance.

I went to a well-known restaurant in Kitayama that I don't usually visit, located about a 5-minute walk to the north after coming up from the Kitayama subway station. The menu was extensive and I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up ordering a burger with a strong pepper flavor. It was satisfying with a good portion size. The restaurant was non-smoking, which was a plus.

I learned from a gourmet senior who is a burger enthusiast. Since moving away from Kyoto, I always end up staying around Sanjo or Shijo whenever I visit Kyoto, so I rarely have the opportunity to visit. My friend who loves burgers came to visit, so I decided to go. It was well received! If you like spices, be sure to try the burger series with plenty of pepper. It's a unique menu with a punch that can only be found here. The buns are soft and of high quality as bread itself, able to absorb the meat juices and support the entire burger well. The charcoal-grilled patty is GOOD! I ordered 4 pieces of buffalo chicken, but only 3 pieces were served. The spicy Tabasco sauce is also delicious. For some reason, the restaurant has low ratings on Tabelog... Thank you for the meal!

In August 2020, the concept of this trip was to enjoy meals with my companion as much as possible, unlike the last time when the Kansai Walker was released. Therefore, I planned to have hamburgers in one place in Kyoto and one place in Nagoya. On the last day in Kyoto, I went to THE BURGER COMPANY with my companion. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Kitayama Station. We arrived at 1:30 PM and had to wait outside for about 10 minutes. We ordered the 'Bacon Cheeseburger Set ¥1380', 'Onion Rings R ¥400', and 'Wedge Cut Potatoes ¥500' (excluding tax). The ordering system during lunch allows you to choose a base hamburger and add toppings as you like. You can also choose the amount of side dishes such as salad or potatoes. This time, I chose bacon and cheese as toppings, creating a bacon cheeseburger. However, the amount of potatoes was quite large as it was the standard amount, so it's safe to assume that half the size is the usual portion. Therefore, if you order onion rings, even the regular size is quite large, so I recommend sharing them. I love both wedge cut potatoes and onion rings, so I also ordered the Wedge Cut Potatoes. The buns were soft and fluffy with a nice sweetness that complemented the taste well. Additionally, the sauce used in the hamburgers is homemade tomato sauce, which is a plus. This is a restaurant that you should consider for your next visit. It's a bit unfortunate that they don't have an official Instagram, but they may close before dinner service if they sell out, so if you have the chance, be sure to visit. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Within walking distance from Kitayama Station, about 5 minutes north of Toyo-tei at the corner of Kitayama Street, I found this place. After the lifting of the state of emergency, I decided to dine in on the terrace with good ventilation. I ordered the D set (hamburger + half portion of fries) with Gorgonzola topping, and an iced coffee. I was specifically looking forward to the Gorgonzola burger. The staff seemed to be enjoying their conversations, which I could hear quite clearly. The fried potatoes were in my preferred wedge cut style. The large patty was surprisingly light, and the Gorgonzola flavor wasn't as strong as I had expected. However, the buns were my favorite type, and the fresh onions, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and whole grain mustard provided a satisfying meal! In this post-COVID era, I gradually challenge myself to dine out, always wearing a mask, and aiming for terrace or upwind seats. I can't help but feel somewhat insensitive as I end up disinfecting everything possible, including the backrests, tableware, towel bags, and table condiments, despite being labeled as disinfected.

This time I decided to do takeout. While getting my hair done at a nearby salon, with about 15 minutes left to go, I called ahead to place my order. Since it was takeout, I skipped the salad and went for the Lunch Set C with a hamburger and fries. The total, including the cost of the container, was around ¥1200. Once my hair was all done and fluffy, I noticed more things shedding than usual. Despite being somewhat useless, I still posted on Tabelog casually. With all the treatments done, I finished at the salon by 3:00 pm. Being someone who skips breakfast, I was starving and about to faint. I grabbed my C Set, hopped in the car, and started munching on the fries - delicious! Oh, and before eating, I always make sure to sanitize my hands with alcohol as a COVID precaution. The burger was quite filling, and I didn't want to mess up my freshly done hair, so I saved it for later on the passenger seat. On the way back, I also stopped by a cake shop, so by the time I got home, the burger was still warm. It's not the same as eating in the restaurant, but it was satisfying. The onion rings and mustard were just too tasty. At home, I don't care about making a mess, so my face ended up quite messy. It's definitely more relaxing to eat takeout at home, but I still want to go back to the restaurant. Can't wait to visit again!

Using natural yeast bread, I had a stylish cheeseburger at a fashionable restaurant ✨✨ Some people say that when it comes to hamburgers in Kyoto, this is the place to go. The patty has a refined sweetness, the bread is fragrant, and the tomatoes and lettuce have a fresh crunch. The cheese ties it all together, and it was super delicious ☺️

The serious hamburger was really delicious!! I was worried about driving around during the autumn foliage season on a Saturday to have lunch with friends near Kitayama, so I decided to go to a burger shop that I was interested in nearby. Unfortunately, the parking lot was full, so I had to park at a nearby coin parking lot. It was dark outside the shop, making it hard to see inside, but when I entered, I was surprised to see it was full. Luckily, there were only two seats available at the counter. The food takes a little time to come out, but it was worth it for the freshly grilled hot burger and fries. The burger was so big that it was hard to fit in my mouth (laughs). I struggled to eat it without realizing there was paper wrapping around it. In the middle of my battle, the staff apologized and said, "I forgot to tell you. Here you go," pointing to the paper in the cup in front of me. I see, I see. I'll put it on now. It was much easier to eat (laughs). The fries were crispy and delicious! I understand why it was full. I will definitely come back to eat again. Actually, I already want to go back.

Today, I visited this nearby restaurant after a long time to eat a hamburger. I have been mainly doing takeout recently, so dining in was a rare occasion. I ordered the cheese-topped hamburger set (1,080 yen) as usual. My wife opted for a half salad and half potato topping, which cost the same. The potatoes were as delicious as ever, with just the right amount and great value for the price. The hamburger with charcoal-grilled patty had an amazing taste. It may be a matter of personal preference, but we love the subtle flavors. The staff, who used to be unfriendly, have been replaced and now provide very pleasant service. However, takeout is still convenient, so we will probably go that route next time.

Today, I am touring the five mountains in Kyoto city. After visiting "Myo" and "Ho" in Matsugasaki, I headed to a popular burger joint in Kitayama.
THE BURGER COMPANY is known for its burgers with 100% beef patties grilled over charcoal. The restaurant has a stylish cafe-like atmosphere and also offers takeout options. There are terrace seats available as well. I decided to dine in and ordered a cheeseburger.
The area around Kitayama is said to have many affluent people, and indeed, there were many customers dressed in high-fashion. After a short wait, my cheeseburger was ready. The cheese was nicely melted, and the burger had a substantial volume. As I bit into it, the juices from the patty overflowed, spreading the delicious beef flavor in my mouth. The onions were freshly grilled, and the combination of tomato and lettuce added to the overall taste of the burger. It was delicious.
I enjoyed a slightly upscale burger in a nice terrace setting. The atmosphere was great, and the restaurant offered authentic burgers.

Before going to the concert hall, make sure to grab a bite to eat! There were already three groups lined up before the store opened, and it quickly became full after opening. The lunch set includes a Normal Burger and a Pepper Burger. I chose the Normal Burger set with fries and added a cola. The burger was substantial, juicy, and delicious! There are various toppings available, and the person at the nearby table had Mozzarella cheese on top, which looked really tasty! The fries were more plentiful than I expected, and I ended up feeling full. (You can ask for ketchup if needed. I saw someone nearby getting ketchup, so I wish they had brought it to me as well.) They provided Coca-Cola in a bottle with a glass, giving it an American feel when drinking straight from the bottle! My husband had the Pepper Burger, but he found it difficult to eat because the pepper was roughly ground and cooked with the meat, making it too tough.

The burgers here have always been delicious. Whenever I come back to Kyoto and crave a burger, I come here. Thanks to this, I never try new places. I always end up putting too many toppings on and regret it because it's hard to eat, but having lots of toppings is what makes a burger great, right? Thick, juicy meat. Unless it's a first date, ladies should open their mouths wide and take a big bite. It was delicious again this time, I will definitely come back.

The Burger Company-----------------------------------------A popular restaurant in Kitayama known for its thick and hearty burgers. Many are drawn to the straightforward and no-frills appeal of their burgers. I tried the Pepper Burger, and the strong accent of black pepper was irresistible to someone who loves it. With a variety of toppings available, you can discover new flavors with each visit. I was hooked instantly. In the spring, the terrace seating is also a comfortable option, making it a great choice for dining.

I usually only eat M burgers, but sometimes I want to try a more authentic hamburger. I found a nice burger shop in Kyoto online and decided to check it out for lunch. It's located in Kamigamo, an area that used to cultivate Japanese cedar trees but now has many trendy shops. There are 2 parking spaces available next to the shop. Inside, there is a counter and round tables. Since there were 3 of us, we were seated at a round table in the back. The lunch menu offers 4 burger sets (A-D) with a choice of hamburger, pepper burger, or chicken burger. I ordered the B set with a pepper burger, which comes with a half salad and half potato. For an additional 180 yen, I also got a drink, so I ordered an iced coffee. The burger is grilled over charcoal and served on a plate with salad and potatoes on the side. It's quite tall, and I struggled a bit to eat it neatly. The burger had a lot of spices on top of the beef, making it quite spicy. There were also tomatoes and lettuce in it. Despite the challenge, the meat was delicious with a nice charcoal flavor. The burger and potatoes were filling, and I couldn't finish them all, so the staff kindly packed the leftovers for us. The iced coffee served after the meal was great, with a good bitterness. The shop seemed popular, as more customers kept coming in. Overall, it was a nice place to dine.
