We arrived at 13:30 and found out that the afternoon tea we wanted was not on the menu, so we reluctantly ordered the seasonal pasta. Later, we discovered that the afternoon tea menu starts at 14:00 (after seeing other customers ordering it) and we added it to our order. The coffee was delicious, so we ended up ordering both iced and hot coffee. There were four of us and we stayed for about three hours, enjoying the spacious atmosphere and high-quality service from the staff. Overall, we were very satisfied.

☆彡Located right next to the Ogawa Coffee factory, the magnificent main store offers a wide variety of coffee beans as well as sweets and snacks that pair perfectly with coffee. The spacious area caters to coffee lovers looking for a relaxing coffee time. Instead of choosing your favorite type of coffee, it's worth trying the limited edition specialty coffee. I ordered the Nicaraguan coffee beans, which scored high on the aroma chart, and a cream puff after enjoying a rich soup for lunch. The Nicaragua El Recuerdo coffee beans had a wonderful aroma and were served in a summer-appropriate, cool-colored cup. The coffee had an elegant and beautiful aroma, with a balanced acidity that highlighted the clean flavors of the beans. The cream puff, priced reasonably compared to other sweets, was rich in custard cream with plenty of vanilla beans, complementing the coffee without overpowering its aroma. The spacious and calming interior of the store, with high ceilings, attracted a diverse range of customers. Thank you for reading until the end. Your likes, saves, and follows are greatly appreciated. Feel free to check out my Instagram @ginjirou.star. Thank you!

I visited the main store of Ogawa Coffee in Kyoto for the first time and had breakfast there. The second floor was closed, but the two areas on the first floor were almost full with customers coming and going. I was seated in a sunny room-like area, which may not have been ideal for the summer. I ordered the "Sandwich Morning" while my partner ordered the "Croque-Madame-style Cheese Toast Morning". The sandwich was a mix of ham, egg, and vegetables between toasted whole wheat bread. The cheese toast was made with Kyoto wheat bread topped with ham, egg, and plenty of cheese. We tried each other's dishes and found them both delicious and satisfying. The Ogawa Coffee blend coffee, which I didn't remember much, surprisingly tasted good that day. The cups were placed in a way that the logo faced forward, with the handle at an angle, and the spoon and stick sugar symmetrically placed, which was a nice touch.

On a Sunday afternoon, we went to have afternoon tea...even though it was almost 5 pm, we thought it wouldn't be crowded, but we were wrong. There were a few groups waiting ahead of us, and more people kept coming after us. As expected of the main store, it is still very popular. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were seated. We ordered the Afternoon Tea Set for 1780 yen (including a drink), and my husband ordered a single coffee. The afternoon tea set here is really worth it. It comes with two large sandwiches, which are enough for a satisfying lunch. The baked goods include cookies, meringues, and pound cake. On the top plate, there are cakes, cream puffs, ice cream, and pudding. Everything is delicious and the portion sizes are generous, so even sharing between two people fills you up. It's such a great deal that I almost don't want to tell anyone about it, but the parking lot is spacious and the lunch menu seems like a good deal too, so we will definitely visit again soon.♡˖꒰ᵕ༚ᵕ⑅꒱

I visited the main store cafe of Ogawa Coffee near my parents' house! Finally! I went for breakfast. ........ The morning set was a whole wheat sandwich for ¥950 (with a drink). ........ The bread itself seems to be made in-house and it's delicious! The sandwich uses whole wheat bread, but you can also enjoy mountain bread with other menu items. You can also buy bread at the store. I went around 10:00 on a weekday and there were about 3 groups waiting in front, so I think it will be even more crowded on weekends. Lunch options change weekly and you can choose from 3 types (plate, pasta, sandwich). I would like to try the lunch menu next time!

I went to buy the coffee beans that I had last time. When I tried to use the cafe around noon, there was the usual waiting time. About 20 people... So, I decided to get a takeout. I couldn't remember the name of the coffee beans I had before, so I tried to convey the nuance and had a taste test to find it. "Kenya Gachuyani" has almost zero bitterness, with a refreshing acidity that is different from the bitterness of The Coffee. It was a good taste.

I used it for breakfast. I had the toast set. The bread was delicious. I also love the soft-boiled egg. The sausage came with ketchup, which I also liked. The salad dressing was tasty. It was nice to have butter and two types of jam (strawberry and blueberry) to choose from.

I ordered a takeout afternoon tea set with a drink for 1,748 yen. It was my first time making a reservation and purchasing it. Having a young child makes it difficult to enjoy sweets leisurely, so takeout is much appreciated.

When it comes to lunch in Kyoto, people tend to gravitate towards ramen, but Kyoto is also known for its delicious coffee. Today, we visited Ogawa Coffee. There were a few groups waiting in line for lunch, so we wrote our names down and waited for about 15-20 minutes. The staff informed us that they could only seat us until 2 pm, and we agreed. The lunch options included plates, vegetable curry, pasta, all ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 yen, with delicious coffee included. I ordered the normal blend American coffee with the daily plate, which consisted of fish, meat, healthy rice, cold clam chowder, and carrot dressing salad. It was a beautiful plate that I enjoyed. It was a pleasant experience, and I look forward to trying their bread and cream puffs next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 3 p.m. on a holiday. Instead of afternoon tea, I had afternoon coffee. I was already full from lunch, but it was very delicious. I had a refill of coffee.

The restaurant is easy to access with plenty of parking spaces. The building is stylish, and the food is delicious for breakfast, lunch, and coffee, so I keep coming back. The staff are friendly and even remember me since I visit often. With a second floor, even when it's busy, the turnover is good and waiting is not a pain.

I have been buying Ogawa's drip coffee from supermarkets and convenience stores for a long time, so I decided to visit the main store today! The menu had a surprisingly trendy twist with options like FairTrade and BirdFriendly coffee, showing the forward-thinking of the shop. They had a variety of rare coffees from different estates in Ethiopia and El Salvador, which was impressive. However, some flavors didn't quite match the descriptions. The Guatemalan coffee I ordered didn't have the blueberry-like acidity I expected, and the El Salvador coffee had a bit of a burnt taste, possibly due to the roasting process or the barista being busy. Despite not being fully satisfied with the coffee this time, I appreciate the wide selection available at this shop, so I have no complaints. They also had interesting cakes, like the Blanc Manger I ordered, which was a unique white roll cake with coffee flavor. The desserts, like the cheese flan with balsamic vinegar, were also intriguing with coffee elements. The ambiance of the shop was great, with a spacious and bright environment. It was busy from lunchtime until 4 pm, but no need for reservations afterwards.

I went to the restaurant on Sunday morning. It was around 9 o'clock, but it was very crowded. I waited for about 15 minutes. The atmosphere was calm with a quiet clientele. The menu was not cheap, but everything looked delicious. I ordered a Croque Madame-style cheese toast. It had plenty of cheese, eggs, and cream sauce. It was so delicious. The best morning ever.

A few minutes from Nishijin-Kyogoku. I went by car, and I was happy to see that there were plenty of parking spaces. Whenever I go to Kyoto by car and feel like going to a cafe, I often use this place. The menu has a wide variety of coffee beans to choose from, and there are many cakes for dessert. On this day, it took about 30 minutes for the order to come out, which felt a bit slow. The pudding was firm and rich. Thank you for the meal.

"Clock Madame-style Cheese Toast" is made with Yama-shoku bread using wheat from Kyoto, topped with plenty of cheese and a perfectly cooked half-boiled egg. The attention to detail in every aspect, including the accompanying salad, shows the care put into this wonderful establishment. The hospitality is overflowing, which is why people always gather here. Thank you for the delicious meal. #GratefulforLife camera: #ricohgr3 #KyotoGourmet #KyotoTravel #KyotoSightseeing #KyotoStroll #KansaiCafe #KyotoCafe #KyotoCoffee #OgawaCoffee #KyotoCafeCulture #ClockMadame #CafeStagram #KyotoCafeHopping #CoffeeShopLovers #FoodPhotography #CafeLovers #CoffeeLovers #KyotoSweets #CafeCulture #CafeTime

I had the drip bag coffee from Ogawa Coffee in Nishikyogoku, Kyoto. It is a blend of four types of coffee beans with varying roasting levels, resulting in a flavorful and aromatic coffee that is easy to drink and refreshing.
Afternoon tea places often require reservations, but this one was more casual and popular among regulars. There was a bit of a wait, but the place had plenty of seating, so it wasn't as long as expected. It's a famous coffee shop in Kyoto, and I'm glad I got to go there.

Vegetable curry with white rolls. The spicy European-style curry was well-cooked with tender beef and a variety of colorful vegetables. It was delicious, but it's a shame that it didn't come with coffee. If you go for lunch before 2 pm, you can get a meal with coffee included, which is a good deal.

"Ogawa Coffee" - I've heard of this name before. The main store is in Kyoto, right? After lunch, the three of us visited this place for the first time, thinking, "How about some tea afterwards?" There is a free parking lot next to the shop. The interior is sophisticated but not overly luxurious. The staff are smart and pleasant. We were seated at a sunny table by the window after a short wait. The tables are spaced out nicely, creating a spacious atmosphere. We ordered the Organic House Blend coffee and Tarte Rouge cake set for 1,020 yen. I'm not a coffee expert, but it was delicious. The cake was a bit on the sweet and sour side, but the fruity taste was prominent. I also bought a cute "Kuma Madeleine" for 206 yen each - there were five flavors: honey, matcha, pistachio, Earl Grey, and strawberry. I bought two to share with friends. When I tried them at home, they were moist and sweet, perfect for coffee."
