There is a shop located about a 2-minute walk west from JR Nijo Station called "日vi vi". It was my first visit, but there are plenty of shops around Nijo Station, so it's not difficult to find a place for lunch. It is non-smoking, which is good, and during lunchtime, it may be convenient for those with limited time.

Visited before noon on Sunday. While other shops in the same building were bustling, this place was quiet. Opted for the Light Course (1,980 yen) from the all-you-can-eat lunch BBQ menu this time. You need to decide on your order before the first set is served. However, there is a limit of ordering up to three types of meat at once. They also change the grill at the right timing. Personally, I thought the Dragon Thick Cut Kalbi with garlic was delicious. They also lend you scissors. The time limit of last order in 70 minutes and complete departure in 100 minutes is quite strict.

With 13 locations centered around Kyoto and also in Shiga, Osaka, and Yamanashi, the popular restaurant Chifaja offers all-you-can-eat Miyazaki brand beef "Pine Beef" known for its tender texture and rich flavor. For lunch, try the "Chicken Pork Can't Get Enough Lunch" set which includes chicken thigh with miso sauce, pork kalbi with miso sauce, rice, salad, and soup for only 1000 yen - a great deal. The miso sauce goes well with both the chicken and pork, and the generous portion will leave you feeling satisfied. Of course, you can also enjoy all-you-can-eat lunch BBQ on rice for 2000 yen.

I'm enjoying a lunchtime feast at an all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurant inside the Shinsei Nijo Station building. For a little over 4000 yen, I'm indulging in unlimited drinks and opting for the stress-free Excellent course. The first round of high-quality meat arrives, including kalbi and horumon. After sampling those, I can order more of my favorites. The vegetable buffet is a nice touch, and I can even have kimchi. The final meal portion is small, so I might have room for both noodles and rice. Whether this all-you-can-eat deal is worth around 5000 yen and change is subjective, but I'm feeling pretty satisfied with the value.

It's been a while since I had lunch at a yakiniku restaurant. They offer a lunch limited all-you-can-eat menu. I felt like the quality of the meat has declined compared to before... especially the sirloin. The meat seemed unusually tough. I used to go alone, order the most expensive course with all-you-can-drink beer, which cost around 4000 yen. As I got older, I no longer need all-you-can-eat. Just enjoying some good meat is enough for me. So, after a long time, I decided to go to Chifaja again. I made a reservation and went in. There were now two course options, and the prices had gone up. I ordered the higher course, and the meat platter that came out was much more luxurious than before. It had tongue, kalbi, pork belly, and more, but no chicken this time. I actually wanted some chicken, but oh well. The pork belly with a little knife cut in it was too heavy for an old man like me. The additional harami (3 servings!) I ordered was delicious! The side dishes of namul and pickled vegetables were good too. However, the "pine beef" shabu-shabu meat I ordered was too tough for thin slices! I also ordered my favorite cold noodles (which is why I ordered the higher course!), but I couldn't finish a full portion, so I got a half. This is a good system, I think. I had a few refills of draft beer, but sometimes they took a while to bring it. When I complained, they brought it in 30 seconds. After 60 minutes, I started feeling full. Quick payment, over 5000 yen... I thought maybe it's better for an old man like me to pay a bit more for a little good meat and go home. This place seems more suited for young people having fun together.

Secretly heading to Kyoto (￣ー￣)ﾆﾔﾘ, details will be shared upon my return... On the 26th, there were many inbound tourists in Kyoto (^o^), but on the 27th, there were about 30% fewer tourists... On the 30th, it seemed like half of them had disappeared... (^_^;)

The grilled shabu-shabu meat was refreshing and delicious. The side dishes were plentiful, especially the sundubu jjigae with clam broth exceeded expectations in taste. The stone pot bibimbap arrived hot and crispy, allowing the whole family to enjoy it.

It's an all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurant, so I don't have high expectations for the taste or quality of the meat, but since it's time-limited, quick service is essential. It would be even better if they offered a separate fee for all-you-can-drink. When I press the call button and they don't come right away, or when the order takes a long time to arrive, and especially when we're asked to move to a different table due to a malfunctioning exhaust system, it's not very fair to cut off our orders right on time. Even if it's just for 10 minutes, saying "we'll extend your time" makes a big difference in customer satisfaction.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I do not recommend this place as the items I ordered arrived 30 minutes later and the wrong items were delivered multiple times. Therefore, I gave it a rating of 1.

It's nice to be able to enjoy a relaxing lunch even by yourself. The lunch is reasonably priced and you can enjoy the amount you like. They quickly respond to requests for refills or changing the grill, making it a comfortable dining experience.

I used to like the previous menu, but since it changed, I haven't been able to find meat thick enough to justify the highest all-you-can-eat price.

I went to Chifaja in front of JR Nijo Station. I have been to various Chifaja, but I liked the taste here the best. I enjoyed solo yakiniku. It was packed with customers on Friday night. I especially liked the Gokumaru Kalbi, Super Kalbi, and Super Harami. Yakiniku is really delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed vanilla ice cream, choux ice cream, and yuzu sherbet. After watching a movie at BiVi 2nd Street, I had a strong impulse to eat a hearty yakiniku, so I headed downstairs to this place. There are counter seats, making it easy for solo diners to enter. They offer three courses, from Light to Excellent. Thanks to my winnings on the Mile Championship on the same day, I ordered the Excellent course for ¥3,300, with all-you-can-drink included. The mandatory meat is brought first, but I asked to skip the tongue as I don't like it. Overall, it's not bad, considering it's all-you-can-eat. I then ordered "Domestic Black Wagyu Kalbi," "Premium Wagyu Sirloin," and "Silk Steak." The Silk Steak had less fat and a rich meat flavor, which I liked the most. To refresh my palate, I had some "cabbage appetizer" between the meat. I devoured about 15 servings, like a growing boy, though the portion per serving is smaller than usual yakiniku restaurants (probably 8-9 servings). The staff's energy level is like that of a chain izakaya, very lively. The lighting is dim, and there were many couples dining. I would like to revisit if I make some money from the horse racing.

There were many other attractive restaurants, but I was drawn to the smell of smoke and decided to go for some meat first. The restaurant was crowded, so they informed us that there was a two-hour time limit. Although they offered all-you-can-eat, we decided to order a la carte. We ordered various meats and kimchi soup, all of which were delicious. The sauce was especially amazing! The Negitan came with salted green onions, and when I squeezed lemon juice on it, it was very tasty. Personally, I would have enjoyed it even more if there were more options to savor the taste of the sauce, like the Seven Lucky Gods at Chifaja in Kiyamachi. When we were leaving, even though it hadn't been two hours yet, they assured us it was okay. The service here was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
