I ordered a white fish curry, keema, and mixed bean curry with a little bit of coriander and less rice. It was served in about 4 minutes. I started with the white fish curry, which was the most delicious. It was made with milk and cream, giving it a creamy texture with a hint of spiciness. The fish was fried and seasoned well, adding to the overall taste. The keema curry had a tangy flavor with some whole spices mixed in. The mixed bean curry was mild and gentle. I also tried the boiled egg, onion pickle, spicy mashed potatoes, coriander, and papad as side dishes, which complemented the curries well. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

I think there are still curry restaurants in Shinjuku that I haven't seen yet. The ambiance is beautiful, and the presentation of the curry is also great. The three types of curry are popular, but the basic chicken curry is delicious. The chicken is tender and flavorful, making it a curry that is forgiven for anything.

In the midst of a thunderstorm, I took shelter and had lunch at a nearby restaurant called "Fish." I ordered the weekly curry for 1,600 yen and the Spicy Fish Fry for 330 yen. The dishes were served on a large plate with a generous portion of rice. I enjoyed the meal, especially the sweet carrots, okra, eggplant, boiled eggs, and broccoli. However, it didn't quite meet the standards of a top-notch restaurant. I would rate it 3.77 stars out of 5.

I arrived at the restaurant around noon and was lucky to be able to go in without waiting in line! I chose three types of curry - the spicy chicken curry was properly spicy and good, the keema curry and bean curry each had a different delicious flavor. The rice portion was large, so it would be nice if they had a refill system.

Visited the restaurant with a colleague. After finishing work, I suggested, "Let's go for curry!" and my colleague agreed. I tried the weekly special, Mackerel Keema Curry, while my colleague ordered the Shrimp Curry and a Special Lassi. The Mackerel Keema Curry was spicy and had me sweating, but it was my first time trying it. My colleague's Shrimp Curry had a delicious coconut flavor that I've tasted before. I ended up telling my colleague about another great restaurant.

I went to this restaurant on Kotaki Bridge Street to satisfy my curry craving since Ippokoppé was closed. It used to be located in Roppongi. I was prepared to wait in line since it's a popular spot, but there were empty seats on a Sunday night, so we were seated right away. The recommended pork curry, keema curry, and bean curry set with extra rice for 1200 yen was a generous portion and a good deal. The bean curry had a light, slightly salty taste. The keema curry was a bit watery but had a strong flavor. Personally, I liked the pork curry the best. It had a deep flavor with a strong spice profile, almost like a curry with just vegetables. It also had chunks of pork that added a nice texture. It's a bit far from the station, but I would like to come back to this restaurant again.

Just made it in time for lunch at this restaurant I've been curious about for a while. It was my first visit and I didn't know what to order, so I went with the 3 kinds combo (white fish curry), and I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying it was! The keema curry, in particular, was exquisite! It was really delicious!! It paired perfectly with the Hoegaarden. Being able to enjoy various curry flavors is the best. It's like a whole world on one plate. I definitely want to visit again.

Located on Odaki Bridge Street, around halfway between Shinjuku and Okubo. It's about a 7-minute walk from the west exit of Shinjuku Station. Following the rule that good curry restaurants are on the second floor, I arrived a bit late for lunch on a Wednesday around 2 PM. I sat at the counter seat by the window. The default seems to be chicken curry, but I was intrigued by the weekly special curry, Sabaki Keema (1,300 yen), so I ordered that. You can choose whether to have it with rice, the amount of rice, and any toppings. I skipped the naan, opted for extra rice, and ordered the lunch salad set (200 yen). The salad arrived quickly, a simple salad with onion dressing. It was tasty. The curry was served about 5 minutes after ordering. It was a normal Japanese rice with Keema on top, served with papad, onion achar, potato salad, and half a boiled egg. The Keema had a good amount of salt, not too salty, but you could taste the seasoning well. The spices were noticeable but not initially spicy. As I continued eating, I started to feel a slight sweat under my eyes. It had just the right amount of spiciness. The rice was neither too hard nor too soft. The Sabaki Keema wasn't too overpowering in flavor. The achar was ordinary, and the potato salad was average. I ended up feeling quite full as the portion was generous. Perhaps I should have gone for the regular size instead of the large, or tried the dal as a side. I'll try that next time. I finished my meal quickly and was satisfied. It's a bright curry restaurant with many young customers. I'll definitely come back. Thank you for the meal. 09/06/2023 Rating: 3.77

Thoughts and feelings: The 3 kinds mix includes the main curry with keema and bean curry. I like Sri Lankan curry and often go there, but embarrassingly, this was my first time trying South Indian curry. At first glance, it seems like a middle ground between Indian curry and Sri Lankan curry. Is the rice Japanese rice? I wish they had Basmati rice. One bite in and it's delicious! The flavor of the pork! While you mix and eat the Sri Lankan curry, I wonder how to eat the South Indian curry. Oh well, let's mix it up... The side of diced pickled daikon? Maybe? It has a pickled radish-like taste that complements the Japanese palate. The free coriander on top goes perfectly with it. What a splendid ensemble. I should recommend this to my friends...

Arrived at the restaurant around 17:50 on Saturday. There was a group of 2 people waiting ahead of me. The evening session started at 17:30, so it seemed like the first wave of customers had already arrived, the restaurant was full, and a wait had formed. I'm not a fan of waiting, but since I had some time, I decided to wait. I was seated at the counter after about 30 minutes of waiting. I ordered a combo of Chicken Curry and Keema for 1200 yen, with regular rice (250g) and a topping of extra coriander for 110 yen, totaling 1310 yen. The food was served in less than 5 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise considering the initial wait time. The menu indicated that the Chicken Curry was spicy, about one chili's worth, and it turned out to be moderately spicy, leaning towards the spicier side of medium-hot. The chicken was plentiful and delicious! The Keema, on the other hand, was not spicy. It was tasty, but it was overshadowed by the Chicken Curry. The accompanying potatoes were also delicious, and adding extra coriander was a good choice. Despite the wait, I thought it was a curry worth waiting for. There was no line when I left, so it seems that depending on the timing, you might be able to get in without much of a wait even on a Saturday. Thank you for the meal!

I suddenly felt like eating curry and searched for a place nearby. I found a place that offered three types of curry: lentil curry, keema curry, and curry with white fish. You could choose from small, regular, or large portions of rice for the same price. There were various toppings available as well. The food was served in less than 10 minutes after ordering. The curry tasted very authentic, but it was a bit mild and lacked a punch. I think it's a matter of personal preference. Next time, I might try the spicy chicken curry or just go for the simple keema curry with sardine topping. There are many variations available, so I don't think I'll get tired of it. Thank you for the meal.

When I went to Shinjuku, I visited Fish, a place near my old workplace where I used to go often. I ordered the three kinds of curry, which came with keema curry and bean curry, and added the main curry on top. This time, I tried the fish curry. It had a gentle flavor that made me feel nostalgic. I think I'll try the other curries next time. I also ordered a lassi, which was easy to drink and went well with the curry.

It was delicious!!! I love spicy curry, so I searched for a place to eat after my health check-up. Without hesitation, I ordered the 3-item combo with the chicken korma as the main dish. The presentation alone got me excited! That's one of the reasons I love spicy curry♡ Both the keema curry and lentil curry were really tasty, and the pickled vegetables had a crunchy texture that I loved. The touch of cilantro was also a nice accent. The interior of the restaurant was brighter and more lively than I had imagined, and the staff were cute and very friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere. I had about 30 minutes to spare before the opening time, and I'm glad I came! It was definitely worth the wait. I will definitely come back!!! Next time, I'll try the shrimp...

I forgot what I ordered, but it was a casual cafe-like atmosphere with an open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. The food was delicious and I didn't have to wait in line in the evening. I will definitely go back and leave a proper review next time.

I entered the restaurant around lunchtime on Saturday and was seated right away. I ordered a combo of chicken curry and keema, both in regular size with no cilantro, and a plain lassi. The portions were quite generous, and I felt really full after finishing everything, so those with smaller appetites might be fine with a small size. The side dishes included pickled vegetables, onion kimchi-like pickles, sweet potato salad, boiled egg, and bean rice crackers. The chicken curry had plenty of chicken pieces and was well-cooked, tender, and mild in spiciness. The keema had finely ground meat and was flavorful with spices. My wife ordered the pork curry, which had a stronger flavor and seemed to go well with the rice. However, it might get spicier as you continue eating.

Just like last time, I had a combo with two items topped with spicy fried fish. There were about four groups in line, but by the time I left, the line had extended halfway up the stairs. The menu was much easier to navigate now. The small glass of Hoegaarden was nice.

Thank you for the delicious 2 combo meal♪ This restaurant is located a 5-minute walk from Seibu Shinjuku Station, on the 2nd floor of Daikan Plaza 756. I visited at 5:30 pm on a weekday. I chose the Chicken Curry as the main dish and the Keema Curry as the second dish. I particularly liked the Keema Curry. I will definitely visit again.

Before heading to Shinjuku Nomura Building, I stopped by Fish on Kotakibashi Street for lunch. The restaurant, located on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building, was mostly full of female customers. I sat at the counter with a view outside, looked at the menu, and ordered the Curry 2-Item Combo for 1,200 yen including tax. The food was served in just 5 minutes. The combo included pork curry and mixed bean curry, with complimentary toppings of onion achaar and potatoes. The pork curry had a strong cardamom flavor, which could be divisive, and was milder in spiciness than expected. The bean curry, made with lentils, was also mild in flavor. The achaar had a noticeable sourness to it. Overall, it was a mild and pleasant dish. I finished my meal in 7 minutes, making clinking sounds with the spoon. It was a satisfying meal. I paid at the counter and then headed towards Shinjuku Nomura Building, where I quickly started sweating.
