I ordered a crepe with chocolate and banana. It had Godiva chocolate, not too sweet whipped cream, a slightly bitter crepe, and banana. The whipped cream in the crepe didn't become too sweet towards the end. The combination of flavors was perfect! Although the price was a bit high at 864 yen for a crepe, I was completely satisfied! I felt like it was totally worth it! The staff's uniforms were also very cute! I had to wait a little bit in line!

I had the chocolate mint flavor of Chocolixir on this day. I often enjoy drinks like Starbucks and other chocolate-based ones, but it's hard to find something at this level. The cashier seemed to be a new employee and was a bit slow, but a senior staff member quickly stepped in to help, which was nice. I will definitely go back.

There are quite a few GODIVA stores nowadays, but I decided to stop by the GODIVA dessert store on the first floor of AEON Mall KYOTO. As the name suggests, this store offers desserts instead of just chocolates. Since it was my first time visiting, and I have tried the GODIVA Chocolixir at other stores before, I opted for a crepe this time. I chose the Dark Chocolate Crepe, staying true to the GODIVA brand. I paid with my WAON card on the customer appreciation day, so I received a 5% discount, which was a good deal. After a short wait, they handed me the crepe. I ate it right away and found that the dark chocolate was not overly sweet, blending nicely with the crepe. It was a fresh and delicious experience, and I look forward to trying something different next time.

Located in front of Kyoto Station, the shopping mall [AEON MALL KYOTO] with about 130 specialty stores and a large cinema complex is undergoing renovations starting in June (>ω<) Featuring many shops that are the first in Kansai! One of the places I visited was a new concept store of GODIVA, offering premium crepes made with GODIVA chocolate and popular chocolate drink "Chocolixir". This is one of only four stores in Japan. I ordered the [Special Crepe with Chocolate] (1260 yen) which features a rich chocolate sauce made with Belgian chocolate, ice cream, smooth chocolate, and a cocoa-flavored crepe with a subtle sweetness. It was a luxurious experience enjoying the rich premium chocolate that perfectly matched the freshly baked crepe and toppings. Since I'm not used to eating crepes, my way of eating may have seemed awkward (lol)

Today, I went to the GODIVA store that opened at AEON Mall KYOTO. GODIVA is a well-known luxury chocolate brand, and this particular store seems to specialize in crepes. In addition to crepes, they also sell frozen drinks called "Chocolixir". The crepes range in price from 648 yen to 1,276 yen, depending on the type and toppings. They offer a variety of crepes to choose from. I decided to try the classic "Banana Chocolate" crepe with cocoa batter. The crepe had GODIVA chocolate on top and was filled with plenty of whipped cream. The whipped cream was light and fluffy, and tasted delicious when combined with GODIVA chocolate and bananas. The cocoa batter had a nice chewy texture, with a slightly bitter taste when eaten on its own. Surprisingly, it was quite filling and satisfying to eat! Overall, I was able to enjoy a freshly baked premium crepe from a chocolate specialty store.
