- Tantan Men with Soup 1,070 yen Noodles with extra serving (200g) I love noodles, especially the curly ones like Kitakata ramen ♡ From regular to extra large, noodle increase service is free to use. The moment it arrives, a wonderful aroma fills the air!! Plenty of greens, meat miso, and cashew nuts ♡♡♡ Some are almost crushed, but there are also a few whole ones, making it feel luxurious. On top of that, the numbing sansho pepper is generously sprinkled. The spiciness of the chili pepper is not strong, but the numbing heat has quite a punch. From the moment you slurp the noodles, the meat miso, the sansho pepper on top, and the soup mix together, creating a fun and ever-changing flavor. The first bite may seem light, but the richness of the sesame, nuts, and miso creates a mellow yet spicy taste, and the depth of flavor in Nijiiro's soup truly supports the Tantan Men soup and is just delicious!! The chewy noodles, which have been thoroughly kneaded, do not lose to the flavorful soup and ingredients. Perhaps because they are curly, they intertwine with the soup while being smooth and chewy ♡ I even feel the wheat aroma and sweetness more than in regular ramen. It goes so well with Tantan Men~ Thanks to that, I surprisingly managed to finish the extra serving lightly w. My body warmed up from the core, and my nose was dripping, turning me into a beautiful mess (laughs) Even after finishing the meal, I couldn't help but tell the usually quiet staff, "It was really delicious today!" He always works diligently, focusing on his tasks. When he turned towards me and said, "Thank you very much!" with a faint smile and a polite bow, it warmed my heart even more. I'll definitely come back again~ Thank you for the meal! ☆*:.。. o .。.:*☆☆*:.。. o .。.:*☆☆*:.。. o .。.:*☆ This year was filled with sadness and anxiety in the world, but I enjoyed reading many reviews from everyone this year♪ (I've been too busy lately and couldn't read them, which is sad(>_<)) And thank you for reading my simple reviews, which are just my personal enjoyment. I hope the new year will be a wonderful year for everyone⭐︎

I visited this restaurant because it had the highest Tabelog ranking in the neighborhood. They serve Kitakata ramen without any artificial seasonings, so it was light and refreshing. The interior and the owner were also neat and clean, which was a nice change from the usual ramen shops. I have always eaten rich and heavy ramen like tonkotsu, so I felt like this one lacked a bit of punch, but they also have tantanmen (with or without soup) on the menu, so I might come back to try that next time. Thank you for the meal!

Located just a 3-minute walk from Tachikawa-Kasei Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, this Kitakata ramen shop was visited shortly after its opening. There were 4 customers in front and 4 customers behind. It was convenient to be able to use Suica or high-denomination bills at the ticket machine. I ordered the "Niku Kitakata Ramen" for 1270 yen including tax. The chef kneaded the noodles after receiving the order, creating beautifully curled noodles before boiling them. The noodles were the curly type with a nice texture. The soup had a distinctive aroma of dried sardines with a soy sauce flavor that lingered in the nose. The dried sardines were ground into powder using a surikogi (grinding bowl) to avoid any off-flavors, and the soup was carefully prepared. The topping consisted of thinly sliced pork belly chashu that adorned the entire bowl. However, the thinly sliced chashu had a good mouthfeel but lacked in substantiality. Also, the self-service water was unfortunately lukewarm. I wished it was a bit colder. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived around 1:00 PM on a holiday, no wait. I ordered the Ajitama Ramen (1120 yen). You can choose from small, medium, or large noodle portions. I had the small size and it was just right for me, but if you have a big appetite, I recommend getting the large size. The presentation isn't fancy, but the taste is gentle and the hand-made noodles have a nice chewy texture. I was surprised by the attention to detail, like the finely chopped menma. The soup is delicious.

Located 3 minutes from Todoroki Kakei Station, Shokudo Nanairo. Tabelog Rating: 3.77 ★ on 13th September 2023 [First visit in September 2023] I have visited Nanairo in Hatchobori before, but due to location issues, this was my first visit to this store! Arrived on a clear weekday at 9 pm with the restaurant 70% full. As it was my first visit, I chose the Kitakata ramen from the top row of the ticket machine, but all the customers in the store had different orders! It seems like a restaurant with overall good quality across all menu items, rather than a single recommended menu item. Kitakata Ramen 920 yen You can choose the noodles from regular, medium, or large. The soup has a clear appearance but also has a well-balanced umami flavor. The oil is not overpowering, making it suitable for everyone. The noodles are flat and springy. They are quite thin and cooked on the softer side, so personally, I prefer a more chewy texture, but they go well with the soup. Toppings include two thin slices of chashu, menma, and green onions. I would have liked the chashu to be a bit thicker, but it is still delicious. The menma has a distinctive flavor with sesame oil. Overall, the completion level is high, and I couldn't find any points that need improvement. On the other hand, I personally couldn't find any unique or appealing characteristics that would make me want to specifically come back to this store for this menu item. I think it's more of a restaurant where you can choose any menu item based on your mood and everything will be delicious. I would like to revisit to try a different menu when I'm in the area.

Special Inaniwa Chuka Soba 1620 yen. Arrived around 9 pm on a weekday, no line, full house. Got my bowl in about 15 minutes. The soup has a good balance of chicken and dried bonito flavors, so light it almost tastes like udon broth. The noodles seem dry but have a smooth and chewy texture, really delicious, almost like you could eat them at home. The special comes with 2 slices each of pork thigh and pork belly, seasoned egg, and other default toppings. There's also sautéed mushrooms and chicken on the back of the green onions. The bias towards Inaniwa makes it feel like udon. Perfect for a hangover. I think Kitakata would be the first choice.

I went around 9:00 PM. It wasn't too crowded so I was able to get in smoothly. Inside, there was a ticket machine where I made my purchase. I had the large serving of tsukemen. I could choose between Kitakata and Inaniwa noodles, but I wasn't asked so I might have gotten Kitakata by default. The soup had a strong flavor of dried fish and was very delicious.

I always think I want to go once a month, but before I know it, several months have passed. This time, I tried the dried fish powder flavor, which had a strong powdery texture and a light taste that I personally didn't like. I got the usual regular size of noodles. I still think that the salt flavor is my favorite here. The person next to me was eating stamina soba, and I was curious about the chicken skin rice advertised on the vending machine.

I visited after a few years at 14:30 on a weekday. I was able to grab a seat just in time, but then there were four people lining up. I never expected there to be a line at this time. I ordered the 920 yen Kitakata ramen. Personally, I prefer the noodles a bit firmer, but the chashu was tender and the soup had a good balance, I almost finished it all. I would like to try other items as well. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

2023.8.2 Night【Evolving Kitakata Ramen at Shokudo Nanairo】Tonight, I was wondering what to have for dinner and decided to check out #ShokudoNanairo where I recently visited. They have started serving the #zeitaku Stamina Chuka Soba since summer, and it caught my attention. I arrived just before 8 pm, no line ahead of me. I ordered the special soba for 1300 yen along with white rice and akahoshi. When handing over the food ticket, you can choose the amount of noodles: large, medium, or regular. This time, I chose medium. More customers started coming in after me. The noodles arrived in about 7-8 minutes! It was almost the same timing as last time. Wow, it looks delicious! The appearance is a bit junky, but the soup tasted like Kitakata Ramen with a mix of garlic and ginger that added spiciness and freshness, giving it a unique flavor. The noodles were curly thick noodles like Kitakata, chewy and delicious! However, the soup's dark color reminded me of Shin-Fukunai-Kan, but the taste was completely different. After quickly finishing the noodles, I poured the remaining soup over the white rice and finished it all. Delicious! I'll definitely come back for more! #RamenRoadAlongSeibuShinjukuLine #Yoshinori'sRamenTour #Ramen #Noodle #Ramen #拉麺

NAKED STARS
3.30
I visited my favorite restaurant, Nansai, where a new menu item had been added. When I put a 1000 yen bill into the ticket machine, I couldn't find the Stamina Soba. It turns out it costs 1300 yen, so I also got a 120 yen bowl of rice, making the total 1420 yen. The toppings of garlic and ginger were served separately on the side, and aside from the Stamina Soba and raw egg, it was the same as the regular Soba. The Soba with raw egg used to cost around 900 yen, so it felt quite expensive. However, considering the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and no artificial seasonings, I understand why the price is higher. The 120 yen bowl of rice was a small portion, so I recommend getting the free noodle refill or upgrading to a larger portion for more satisfaction. I preferred the previous limited-time menu item, the Stamina Chuka Soba for under 1000 yen, which offered a higher level of satisfaction. The taste was undeniably delicious, but overall, it was a bit pricey. Thank you for the meal, I rate it 3.3 out of 5.

I have been to Hachobori Honten and Kyobashi Ramen Shichisai Hanten many times, but this place, which is the birthplace, is my first time. It blends in well with the shopping street in front of the station. Although the noodles are not made from scratch, they are carefully hand-kneaded before being boiled. The noodles are the reliable Shichisai noodles, with a wonderful aroma of flour. The soup is a Kitakata salt soup that goes well with the noodles that are lively in the mouth, with a subtle hint of dried fish. There are two types of chashu, probably belly and loin. The belly meat was particularly delicious.

Dilute the saltiness. The noodles are on the softer side, making this ramen quite gentle. While it may lack thickness, it has a good flavor that makes you keep sipping. I didn't realize it, but I was almost finished with the soup. Be careful with the first mouthful as the soup is very hot. It has a slight thickness and retains heat well. The rare addition of bamboo shoots was interesting, with a good balance of acidity and spiciness that refreshes your palate. Delicious. The meat used is chicken thigh, seasoned with pepper. I thought it was a ramen without meat, but it was hidden under the bamboo shoots. Not my preference, but there's nothing unpleasant about it, making it a well-executed ramen.

After a long time, I felt a longing for the ramen here and decided to go straight there for a boost of energy. It was around 12 pm on a weekday, but to my surprise, there were plenty of empty seats. The ticket machine had been replaced with a new one, and the female staff kindly guided me to my preferred seat. I wondered if it would get crowded later on. I ordered the Kitakata ramen with seasoned egg, and the noodles were as chewy and flavorful as ever. However, the soup lacked the same intensity and flavor I remembered. The seasoned egg also seemed off, lacking consistency. It was disappointing as this place used to be my go-to for a delicious meal. I hope they can regain their passion and improve. Thank you.

【Restaurant Name】Shokudo Nanairo @Nakano-ku, Tokyo Metropolitan Katei Station 【Menu Item】Cold Tsukemen Ramen with Salt 970 yen Nanairo is a delicious shop that serves Inaniwa Chuka Soba and Kitakata Ramen. This year, I tried their annual dish, cold Inaniwa noodles with salt (they can also make it with soy sauce if you prefer). The wasabi flavor really stands out, giving the cold tsukemen a thick texture and a refreshing coolness. The Inaniwa noodles are unique with a chewy texture, perfect for a hot day. Even if you doubt how good dry noodles can be, you should definitely try Nanairo. I almost wanted to add extra nametake mushrooms because everything I tried was delicious. Nanairo is truly a fantastic place to eat. Clean interior, a wide variety of menu options. Ordered the soy sauce flavored ramen with flavored egg for 1070 yen, and added a medium serving of char siu rice for 220 yen. I always tell myself to stop at the regular size, but ended up getting the medium. The char siu had a slight but flavorful fatty taste, sticking to tradition. The noodles were thick and chewy, with a satisfying texture. The thinly sliced and sweetened menma was delicious. The flavored egg was slightly firm but perfectly done. The soup had a gentle and smooth taste with a depth of flavor. Savored each mouthful.

Niku Inaniwa Chuka Soba Shoyu for 1,420 yen Bottled beer for 570 yen With the hot days continuing, I was craving something cold, so yesterday I went to Nanairo, the cafeteria at the Metropolitan College of Home Economics, for the second time. Today, I decided to avoid the heavy ramen dishes. I arrived at 11:52 and there was no line outside. As I looked at the menu outside the restaurant, the visual of the Niku Inaniwa Chuka Soba caught my eye, so I ended up ordering that along with a bottle of beer. The dish arrived in 13 minutes. Just look at that presentation! The noodles are so beautiful! The noodles are something else! Inaniwa Udon is well-known, but have you heard of Inaniwa Chuka Soba before? And surprisingly, the noodles are not fresh, they are dried noodles. The noodles are smooth on the surface when slurped and chewy when bitten, so delicious! The soup has a perfect blend of flavors from the dried fish, spreading a comforting warmth throughout the body. The meat is satisfying to eat and pairs perfectly with the beer. The unique shape of the menma and the surprise of having namako (slimy mushroom) in the dish kept it interesting until the last bite. Ah, it was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I have visited the famous "Noodle Shop Nana-iro" in Hatchobori, a regular spot for many people, but this is my first visit to this place. They are known for their hand-made noodles, but I decided to try their Inaniwa Chuka Soba. I ordered the Meat Inaniwa Chuka Soba (1,420 yen) with extra noodles (100 yen). First thing that caught my eye was the thick slices of chashu. You can see them being carefully grilled on a grooved iron plate. The meat is just the right amount of fatty and pairs well with the soup. The soup is supposed to be a seafood soy sauce base, but it seems like the seafood flavor is a bit weak. Maybe they changed the soup from the Kitakata Ramen to the Inaniwa Chuka Soba? I felt that the soup has become smoother and more rounded compared to when I had it before. I actually prefer the current soup. As for the noodles, they are thin and smooth. At this point, it's hard to tell if it's udon or Chuka Soba. The slippery texture is delicious, but it's completely different from the "The Handmade" noodles by Nana-iro. I wonder why Nana-iro decided to go with this type of noodles here. In Hatchobori, they were making the noodles from scratch, and the noodles were springy. Maybe they can't do that with multiple locations. Inside the restaurant, there were notices about selling noodles and a poster for Inaniwa Chuka Soba with the names of two companies that seem to be noodle shops: - Matsuya Seimenjo - Sato Yoetsu Honpo... This means that this place doesn't make their own noodles. The noodles are tasty, but it's a bit disappointing that the uniqueness seems to have faded. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
