This was my second visit to the restaurant. Since it was New Year's Day, we enjoyed a delicious meal with all-you-can-drink option from lunchtime. This time, we ordered the premium course. The seared meat sushi, thick-cut tongue, and rib meat were all delicious. The staff were very attentive, changing the grill multiple times without us having to ask. The freshly cooked rice in the clay pot was shiny and the beef stew served with it was very tasty. It was a satisfying course that left us feeling full.

Today, I used a Kyoto support coupon I received at the hotel for dinner at a restaurant called "Ichiba Koji" located near Hankyu Shijo-Karasuma Station. I selected a "Caesar salad from a yakiniku restaurant," "raw liver," and a platter of three carefully selected cuts of black wagyu beef: "Uchimomo," "Hiuchi," and "Sirloin." All of the dishes were delicious, and I was truly impressed by the quality of the meat. I am thankful for my healthy body once again today.

It's a meat shop, but they specialize in rice for lunch! They cook rice in a clay pot, which sounds interesting. I tried the Kalbi and Harami lunch for 1848 yen. The white rice that came out was perfect in taste and texture. I even asked for a second serving. The meat was decent, with the Harami being quite good, but the Kalbi was a bit tough. Considering the price, you could say that beef is expensive, but for this price, you might expect a tastier lunch. The atmosphere was nice, and I would recommend it for rice lovers, not just meat lovers.

I had a job in Kyoto and decided to check out a meat restaurant in Karasuma for lunch! The interior was well-equipped with COVID-19 measures, and they had a smokeless roaster which made me feel safe dining there. I went for the most expensive lunch set this time! As you can see in the picture, the meat was beautifully presented. The taste was also exquisite!! I definitely want to go back again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I wanted to eat something warm, so I casually walked into the restaurant around noon on a weekday. I was able to sit at a semi-private table even though I was dining alone. I ordered the stone bibimbap & yakiniku lunch for 1650 yen. I chose the harami (skirt steak) for the meat option. The meal came with wakame soup and salad as well. The harami was beautifully red and each piece was quite thick. It was tender, without any unpleasant fat, and delicious! Since it was grilled on a hot plate, it also kept me warm. The stone bibimbap was generous in portion size, with tasty namul (seasoned vegetables) and meat mixed in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce. I was able to enjoy a leisurely yakiniku lunch by myself. The lunch menu had various options up to 2000 yen, so I would like to casually visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal.

While many lunch places in the area serve grilled dishes, at this restaurant, you can grill the meat yourself! The prices are reasonable, mostly in the 1,000 yen range, and the meat is delicious. It's also nice that you can get refills on soup.

Yakiniku [Ichiba Koji] Shijo Karasuma Hankyu Karasuma Station, Mitsui Building B1F directly connected to Subway Shijo Station, is a yakiniku restaurant that buys a whole black wagyu cow. Located in the bustling district of Karasuma in Kyoto, it is conveniently accessible even on rainy days due to its direct connection to the station. The restaurant has a wide seating area and smokeless roasters, allowing you to enjoy yakiniku without worrying about smoke. They source black wagyu beef from local producers, offering thick-cut slices including rare cuts depending on the day's supply. This time, with thick-cut slices of 7 varieties, tongue, and finishing with drinks, the cost is around 7000 yen per person, making it quite cost-effective considering the quality of the meat. Roast Beef Yukhoe is thinly sliced roast beef mixed with egg yolk and a sweet sauce. Yukhoe is best with a sweet sauce! The meat platter of thick-cut slices is served at the beginning! Chunky meat has a great presence. The marbling is beautifully distributed in the wagyu, all with good meat quality! Ordered cuts like Uchimomo, Misuji, Kainomi, Ichibo, Kurimi, Chateaubriand, and Lambsin. If you are unsure about grilling yourself, it might be better to order cuts other than the thick ones. Grill them to medium-rare or medium slowly, taking your time. Once cooked, the staff will come and cut them for you! They offer various condiments like mustard, wasabi, garlic chips, eating chili oil, and sudachi, so you won't get tired even with the thick cuts! In terms of meat quality, it's quite cost-effective! Since thick-cut slices of tongue continue, I deliberately ordered thin slices. The middle part of the tongue is tender. I prefer the seasoning of green onions and garlic to be more garlicky sesame oil. Ordered menu items: Kimchi assortment, Sanchu, Roast Beef Yukhoe, Thick-cut meat Uchimomo, Misuji, Kainomi, Ichibo, Kurimi, Chateaubriand, Lambsin, Top tongue, Top tongue with green onions, Stone pot bibimbap, Comtan soup, Yukkejang soup.

Monday holiday 11:33 Bought a whole black wagyu cow for yakiniku and freshly cooked clay pot rice at Ichiba Koji Karamu store. It was empty just after opening. I have been to the Teramachi location before, but I didn't know the Karamu store was a yakiniku place. We were seated at a spacious table. We looked over the menu together. There are three lunch options. Gion set meal for 1,980 yen each. The lunch includes harami, kalbi, lean meat, namul, kimchi, salad, and soup. We also added additional meat. Hormone platter with 3 types for 980 yen. The hormone platter came with (chef's choice) akasen, hatsu, and tecchan. My son was very happy to see the meat lined up. As usual, my son asked, "Can we have seconds of rice?" and the staff said yes. The set meal comes with a bowl of rice topped with simmered wagyu, making it a very meaty lunch. When we asked for seconds, we received a slightly smaller bowl of white rice. We started grilling the meat to our liking. The staff came around regularly, refilling our tea when needed. It was not too crowded even though it's in Shijo Karasuma, and I realized this area was off my radar. We got our veggies and delicious meat, and both my son and I were satisfied. We were able to use a service voucher from a previous visit to the Teramachi location for a 10% discount. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Market Komichi, Shijo Karasuma Store in Kyoto is a yakiniku restaurant located in the basement of a Mitsui Building, close to Hankyu Karasuma Station. For someone like me who loves harami, the attraction is being able to enjoy a large piece of harami. I highly recommend harami lovers to indulge in the voluminous harami. The other meats and soups were also delicious!

The first drink took a while to come, maybe because it was a new staff member, haha. After confirming again, we finally cheers! There seems to be a lot of emphasis on the quality of the meat, and you can order various cuts! The ordering process was quite slow, and there was quite a wait time. I ended up getting full quickly. The taste of the food was very delicious and it was beautifully presented, but I felt it was a bit wasteful. I will definitely visit again!

I visited the Gokin Shrine and my partner, who was already feeling like a wealthy person, treated me to yakiniku! We ordered the 3 kinds of meat set for ¥2800 and a single order of sukiyaki-style kalbi. The set came with salad, tofu topped with meat, namul, kimchi, pickles, wakame soup, unlimited rice (cooked in a pot so there's delicious burnt bits), and dessert apple sherbet, all for a very reasonable price. The main attraction, the sirloin steak, had just the right amount of marbling, and when you bite into it, the meat juice and beef fat melt in your mouth. All three types of meat were delicious! The additional sukiyaki-style kalbi was dipped in a rich sweet and savory egg sauce. It was so tender, it melted on the tongue like cotton candy. It paired perfectly with the rice. Even though it's yakiniku, I don't remember chewing much. All the meat was so tender. The cost performance is really good. The staff were all cheerful and provided great service. My partner must have won the lottery, getting such a good deal on this meal. Thank you for the feast!

They also have a wide variety of side dishes and appetizers. The portion size is on the smaller side, so you can order a variety of dishes which is nice. The thick-cut tongue and steak are delicious! It's best to ask for the daily recommendations when ordering. The drinks are also great value, with wine and gin and tonic being popular choices. My favorite is adding freshly ground black pepper to my gin and tonic.

The yakiniku lunch here is of high quality! I was satisfied with the taste, portion size, and variety of dishes. It's unbelievably cost-effective! The service and convenience (located near the station, almost inside) are also good. When leaving the restaurant, there was a long line waiting, but that's to be expected.

I wanted to go to a sukiyaki specialty restaurant in Kyoto, but couldn't find one that stood out. Darin had finished studying and it was impossible to search for various places before meeting up due to distance and time constraints. While pondering, I stumbled upon a yakiniku restaurant in a building called Ichiba Kojisann. It seemed to be a shop that specializes in buying whole cows. The atmosphere inside was wider than I had imagined at the entrance. What should I order? Beef tongue, pot stew, and beef tongue three types! The lively tongue was incredibly delicious. Following the advice of the staff, I switched to a cost-effective menu and ordered the assorted hormone platter! It is marinated in a sauce that makes the hormones tender and brings out the best flavors, making it perfect to eat as is, with alcohol, or even with rice. The high-flavor kimchi I chose was also a good decision. The rice here is served in a delicious cooking style. I only ordered meat this time because I had another place I wanted to go, but this is a place where you can leisurely enjoy the food. The lemon shochu highball that we have recently become fond of is also delicious! The best part was the ultra-smokeless roaster that doesn't retain the smell of grilled meat. It's stress-free in terms of smell, which is greatly appreciated by travelers! Eru easily picks up the smell in her hair, so this was a pleasant surprise. We have another place to go next, so this place is important to us. We will try sukiyaki next time. Fully satisfied! Thank you for the meal.
