I visited on a holiday around 4 pm. The cafe is on the second floor, while the basement is for cake purchases only. There were about 3 groups of customers before me, but there were available seats, which was nice. The view of the Sumida River is really beautiful and the location is very pleasant! I had a hard time choosing a cake, but I ended up choosing the shortcake. However, when I tried to order it, I was told that it was sold out for the day, so I had to choose again. I wish they had mentioned that when I entered. I ordered a cake set with walnut chocolate cake and banana brulee, which was around ¥1200. The drinks were a bit expensive at ¥880. I also had some tea and savarin. The chocolate cake was very dense and heavy, which I liked. However, I don't like walnuts, so I wish I had chosen a different cake. The brulee was smooth and slightly runny, with a nice vanilla flavor. It had plenty of vanilla beans in it. There were sliced bananas on top, slightly caramelized. The caramelized part was crispy but a bit thin, so it felt a bit lacking. The place was quiet with few people, so it seemed like a good place to relax. However, the air conditioning was really strong, so it got cold and I left early. Overall, it was delicious!

The pumpkin pie is full of pumpkin flavor! Perfect for pumpkin lovers, it tastes like eating pumpkin itself. The pie is not crispy, but moist and soft.
The Apricot Savarin has a mild alcohol taste and is very sweet. It is soaked in a syrup that is fragrant with apricot. The milky cream pairs well with the apricot flavor. I wish it had more alcohol taste. The drinks are expensive! The desserts are high quality and I would like to come back again.

After having an early dinner at Hatsukawa, we went to "Moulso" for dessert. The location was great, and we were seated on the 3rd floor since the 2nd floor was full. I had an iced milk tea and creme brulee. The iced milk tea was very fragrant and delicious. The creme brulee was smooth and had a comforting sweetness. You can relax while overlooking the Sumida River, and the night view is beautiful too. Thank you for the meal.

It was my first visit at 13:45 on a regular day. The restaurant was about 80% full, quite crowded. Luckily, I was seated on the 3rd floor. I was planning to order cake and a drink, but the lunch set seemed like a much better deal, so I ended up having my second lunch of the day (laughs). I ordered: - Honey Toast for 950 yen including tax, which came with salad, soup, drink, and a cookie. - Pear Tart for 440 yen including tax. The taste was overall average. Unfortunately, the lemon tart was sold out. The atmosphere was really nice. It would be even better by the window! It seems like a great place for a date on a sunny spring day.

The fully open window provides a terrace-like atmosphere with views of the Skytree, Asahi Beer building, and Sumida River. It seems like a great spot to enjoy both during the day and at night, although extreme hot or cold seasons might be a bit tough. Other seasons would be perfect for this location! You can even reserve for fireworks shows, which I think was around 28,000 yen per person. But considering the comfortable seating, lack of crowds, and the ability to enjoy fireworks while sipping beer, it might not be that expensive after all. I ordered the Gorgonzola penne, which I absolutely love! I had it during a winter night visit before and it was incredibly delicious, so I ended up ordering the same thing again. I don't think I could ever make such a delicious gratin myself. My friend's cheesecake also looked very tasty! The cakes here are always delicious, right? Last time, I had the strawberry shortcake! This time, I skipped the cake. Maybe next time I'll try sitting on the 3rd floor! My friend explored the whole restaurant and said the 3rd floor is nice too! Thank you for always serving delicious gratin! Itadakimasu!

I was looking for a cafe after visiting Asakusa yesterday and stumbled upon this one. It is a stylish cafe along the Sumida River with all terrace seats. You can enjoy a view of the Sumida River and even see the Skytree. It is nice during the bright and sparkling daytime, and also has a great adult vibe as the sun sets. The lunch, cakes, and drinks were all varied and made for a comfortable experience. Thank you for the meal.

#Asakusa Cafe
A time difference post from quite a while ago. I went to a cafe in Asakusa that I had been wanting to visit for a long time. Cafe Moulu Sor ☕ is a popular cafe known for its terrace overlooking the Sumida River and Skytree. Unfortunately, the weather was not great on the day I visited, and although I sat by the window, the Skytree was mostly hidden behind clouds... I would imagine it would be amazing on a clear day. It was afternoon, so my friend and I opted for the lunch set with dessert. I had the Gorgonzola penne gratin with pumpkin pudding, while my friend had meat sauce pasta with chocolate cake. The dishes were a bit lacking, but both desserts were a hit ✨ I think this place is better suited for tea. The cookies that came with the dessert were delicious, and they were also available for purchase to take home. We were seated on the 2nd floor, but there are seats on the 3rd floor as well. I bet the view is different just one floor up. The dessert and drink menu was quite extensive. #Cafe #AsakusaGourmet #CafeMouluSor #GorgonzolaPenne #PumpkinPudding #MeatSaucePasta #ChocolateCake #ScenicCafe #SumidaRiver #Skytree #TimeDifferencePost

Moruso-san after 4 years due to Corona. I've always wanted to come here! The cafe time was still wonderful and the best. It was the first weekday during the Golden Week holiday, and even without a reservation, there were seats available along the Sumida River and the weather was nice with a pleasant breeze in early May. I also saw the second-floor seats, which were also lovely. I always hesitate. For lunch, they had options like curry, gratin, quiche plates, all looking delicious. I felt like having Moruso-san's green curry after a long time and ordered it. It was just as delicious as I remembered! It used to be spicy and I would eat it while sweating and saying it's delicious. It's been 10 years, and now I can handle spicier food, but the deliciousness remains the same. I don't know if I like green curry or Moruso-san's green curry, but I really love it! I also ordered a shortcake, but since it was lunch, it came with a drink, salad, and soup for less than 2000 yen. Such a great deal for a weekday lunch! I love Moruso-san so much because the atmosphere is so comfortable and nice. I just love it. I thought again that I really love it. I would like to come here on the night of my birthday someday. It was a happy time. Thank you for the meal.

Sumida River, Asahi Beer's Golden Flame Object, and a few cafe & bar terrace seats where you can catch a glimpse of the Skytree. The cafe also has windows that open fully, creating a cozy atmosphere. I visited at night, but you can also just enjoy the cafe with cake and coffee for a pleasant time.

As mentioned in the reviews, the prices were a bit on the high side. The set menu includes salad, soup, dessert, and a drink for 2500 yen (varies depending on the main dish). The food is delicious but it feels a bit pricey, maybe due to the location. It would have been really nice if it was sunny, but unfortunately, it was cloudy today. Reservations are a must for this restaurant.

A stylish cafe on the second floor of a building by the Sumida River. The wooden interior and rattan chairs create a nice atmosphere. You can enjoy a view of the Komagata Bridge through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
Ordered:
- Herb Chicken Tomato Stew Lunch for 1575 yen. The plate is filled with plenty of vegetables, making it a healthy choice. The chicken in the tomato sauce is tender and flavorful. The green bread is soft and fluffy. The salad with herb dressing is delicious. A cute cup of soup is also included. The coffee and a bite-sized cake were a nice touch. Surprisingly, the coffee was also quite good. The interior design is tasteful and relaxing.
Note:
Originally, this place is known for tea and cake, but they also serve lunch. The tea-infused cheesecake and chocolate cake look delicious. I'll come back next time to relax and enjoy some tea.

#cafemeursault [Asakusa] Located along the Sumida River, this cafe offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a view of the Skytree while sipping your coffee. The interior of the cafe has large glass windows that create a bright and open space during the day, and a cozy ambiance with the night view when it gets dark. They also have terrace seating available, perfect for enjoying good weather. I ended up staying longer than planned because of the comfortable atmosphere.

I wanted to have a meal nearby and then find a cafe to continue our conversation, but it was late at night and there were no cafes open. However, I found a place that was still open and brought my friend there. It's a lovely restaurant located along the Sumida River, offering a beautiful night view. You can enjoy tea, food, and drinks there. I once ordered wine and cheese and enjoyed them on the terrace. The view of the Skytree and Azuma Bridge is particularly stunning. This time we had tea, but I would love to come back for wine next time.

Rumseau, a stylish cafe near Asakusa, is a beautiful place with a nice interior, enjoyable exterior, and even a terrace, making it perfect for a date. The cafe also has an elevator, so it is accessible for those with mobility issues. However, one downside is that there are stairs leading up to the entrance. As for the menu, the pumpkin pudding is a great choice with its gentle and healthy taste. During my visit at 3 PM, there was a wait of about 20 minutes, but it was worth it for this delightful cafe experience!

It is a lovely cafe lined along the river. The interior is carefully decorated with stylish furniture and accessories, creating a calm atmosphere. They offer a variety of cakes and drinks, which was enjoyable. I particularly liked the cheesecake with my tea, as it had the perfect level of sweetness. They also serve alcohol and meals, so I would love to visit again.

Away from the hustle and bustle near the station, this café is located on a quiet street. It was almost full on a holiday at 3:00 p.m., and since it was a cold day, I was told the terrace was available. I was surprised when I entered! The view was amazing. You could overlook the Sumida River, it felt like a private place with a great view. I never expected to encounter such a view from this café. It was very cold, but the view was beautiful. I had been curious about their shortcake since seeing it in photos, so I decided to visit. The cake set had a fixed menu, and if you wanted to order something else, you had to order it separately... The brunch set seemed like a better deal. I ordered the shortcake and a blend coffee (690 yen, 690 yen). The shortcake had a quite misshapen shape, and it was on the pricier side, but the size was quite big. The sponge was a bit dry, and the cream was sweet, reminding me of the shortcake I had as a child. The blend coffee had a strong, deep bitterness to it and was delicious. There was a heater at your feet, but it still felt quite cold. I would recommend the terrace when the temperature is higher.

Visited the cafe around noon on a Saturday. Even though it was lunchtime, it was possible to make a reservation, so some customers couldn't get a seat even though there were empty ones. The only option available was the cake set of the day (which was creme brulee and chestnut pound cake on this day), and you couldn't order anything else as a set. I ordered a strawberry shortcake for 690 yen, a Darjeeling tea for 810 yen, and a lemongrass herbal tea for 880 yen. The cake was decently tasty, with a sponge that felt a bit light and not very moist. The cream was a bit on the sweet side, which I liked, but it might cause heartburn for some. They offer a variety of coffee blends and more than 5 types of tea, including standard ones like Darjeeling, Uva, Dimbula, and Nilgiri, as well as Nordic teas and herbal teas. The quality is not bad, but the plastic water glasses and lackluster service made the prices feel a bit high for what you get.

I walked a little from Asakusa Station and came to Café Moussou, a café where you can see the Sumida River. It's a small place, with a terrace and large windows that create an open space. It has a slightly retro atmosphere. I got a Mont Blanc-like parfait and crème brûlée. The sweets were very sweet. It was tough to finish the Mont Blanc parfait. It was very enjoyable to see the Sumida River from the window. The other customers were mostly young couples, but as it got darker, the atmosphere became nice. It seems like a good idea to have tea on the terrace when it gets warmer. Since the seating is limited, it might fill up quickly on weekends. Thank you for the meal!
