I stopped by for lunch and chose the mapo tofu lunch from the lunch course menu. It had just the right amount of Sichuan pepper, making it spicy yet sweet and very delicious. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice, so I would like to come back again.

I went for a stroll on a Saturday afternoon. The place had a bright and cozy atmosphere. I had the five-ingredient fried rice lunch for 1400 yen. It came with two appetizers, two dim sum, and dessert. The glass noodle salad was refreshing, and the steamed chicken was tender with delicious sauce. The dim sum was generously sized, hot, juicy, and tasty. The fried rice had a good balance of fluffy and moist textures, with plump shrimp adding a gentle deliciousness. The almond dessert was comforting and tasty. I would like to try their affordable lunch, takeout options, and various small dishes on the evening menu. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is very bright and welcoming, with many families dining there. I had the shrimp miso tantanmen set. The shrimp in it was wonderfully fragrant and made a perfect accompaniment to beer! The set also came with 2 pieces of hot and meaty dim sum, which were delicious! Next time, I want to try ordering the dim sum on its own and pair it with xiaolongbao. I plan to visit again with my family next time. I accidentally took a bite of the tantanmen before taking a photo, so I missed capturing it.

Arashiyama Station is about a 10-minute walk to the west, facing Marutamachi Street. The interior of the restaurant is very clean. They have hand sanitizer available, and the doors are open for ventilation, which provides a sense of safety, especially during this time. I ordered my favorite dish, the large portion of five-ingredient stir-fried noodles with thick sauce and a side of small rice. The noodles are thin and crispy, but they become soft and easy to eat when mixed with the sauce. The dish is generously filled with ingredients such as shrimp, scallops, and vegetables, giving it a satisfying volume. I personally love the soy sauce-based thick sauce, which blends perfectly with the noodles, making it very delicious. At first, I didn't think the large portion was as big as I expected, but that was because the plate was a normal size. By the end of the meal, I was full and satisfied. The five-ingredient stir-fried noodles cost 930 yen, the small rice costs 130 yen, and the large noodle portion costs 100 yen, totaling 1,276 yen including tax. It was a bit pricey, but with a whole scallop included and the perfect blend of brown thin noodles and thick sauce, I was completely satisfied with the deliciousness. I would love to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.

Spring Rain Szechuan for ¥730 + tax. Well, it's just an average taste. I thought it was a slightly upscale Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere is nice. The restroom is spacious and clean. There is a bicycle parking area and it seems there is also a parking lot. It's right by the Uzumasa Kitamachi bus stop for city buses.

I had been curious about this place since it opened but hadn't been able to visit until now. When I arrived around noon, there was one other customer already there, followed by an elderly couple. A few other elderly customers came in for takeout. The food looked and tasted delicious in a normal way.

On May 4th (Wednesday) around 13:20, I visited the restaurant but will refrain from giving a score due to certain circumstances. I won't say much, but... it didn't feel intimidating, and the atmosphere seemed welcoming even for ordinary people. I tried some dim sum and it was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The quality is high for a small shop. The seasoning is slightly sweet.
