Visited the cafe on a Saturday afternoon and luckily didn't have to wait in line for too long to get in. The shop is small with limited seating and not much waiting space. As soon as I walked in, the sweet smell of chocolate filled the air, making me feel like I had come to satisfy my chocolate cravings (laughs). I ordered the chocolate parfait from the menu! It was a chocolate lover's dream from top to bottom, allowing me to fully enjoy chocolate in every bite. I got to savor the smooth and crunchy textures, while indulging in the rich chocolate flavor.

I went to COCO KYOTO main store. I wanted to try the Chocolat Frappe, but the wait time was up to 2 hours, so this time I settled for takeout. They assured me, "Don't worry, it's low in sugar," so even if you're on a diet, you can enjoy it without feeling guilty. GO★IVA is also delicious, but some people may find it a bit too sweet. Hmm, it's definitely delicious, so I recommend giving it a try. Next time, I definitely want to eat in the store. They also had parfaits, chocolates, and cakes. Thank you for the meal.

Sweet treats in Kyoto♪ Chocolate specialty shop's shaved ice. To COCO KYOTO: A chocolate specialty shop that handles everything from cocoa bean selection to roasting, grinding, blending, and shaping in their Kyoto workshop. As soon as you enter the shop, you are enveloped in the sweet aroma of chocolate☺️ ●Shaved Ice Chocola (with Kuzu chocolate) ¥1,250 ●Cocoa Ginger Ale ¥590 The ice itself is made of chocolate, fluffy and light. Chocolate ice with espresso foam, chocolate decorations, and even chocolate inside the kuzu. Three types of chocolate on a separate plate. It melts in your mouth in an instant. Not too sweet, just right♪ The chocolate inside the kuzu is soft. It's so delicious that you can't stop eating it. Comparing the three types of chocolate. The strawberry with a hint of acidity was a standout for me. The homemade ginger ale is also amazing. After the ginger, a burst of cocoa aroma spreads. Completely satisfied with the deliciousness. They also sell chocolate and cakes, but I was worried about the heat so I'll have to bring some home next time. Thank you for the delicious meal♪

COCO KYOTO Main Store in Nishioji Oike, Kyoto. We tried a set of Gâteau au Chocolat from different origins at this organic coffee and chocolate specialty store. The chocolate was delicious, but for a Gâteau au Chocolat, I would have preferred a bit more moistness. Thank you for the meal! #Kyoto #NishiojiOike #NishiojiOikeGourmet #ChocolateSpecialtyStore #COCOKYOTO #GâteauauChocolat #OrganicCoffee #PopularStore

I had been curious about this shop for a long time, and finally had the chance to visit! The inside of the shop is filled with the scent of chocolate, creating a delightful atmosphere for chocolate lovers. Everything looked delicious, making it hard to decide what to eat, but I ended up trying the limited edition cake and a coffee. Not only were they visually appealing, but they were also incredibly tasty. The cakes held their shape well and were easy to eat without falling apart.

I was taken to this place by an acquaintance who lives in Kyoto. I ordered a sweets plate set and a cake drink using a sweetener called "Lacanto". When the plate was brought out, I was surprised to see that it had more volume than in the photos - I was so happy and my excitement went up. The cake was delicious too, and I have found a new favorite place that I want to visit again. If I had to say one thing, I would like them to add glass champagne or wine to the drink menu, as I think it would go well with the sweets.

I went there yesterday and I want to go again today! It's a shop with a main store and a Nishijin store, both within walking distance. I visited the main store because I wanted to try the limited parfait menu only available there. As soon as you enter the store, you are greeted by a lovely cocoa scent that soothes your heart. I visited early in the afternoon, but most of the items were already sold out. It seems they are made gradually, so when I checked again before leaving, more items were added, so timing is important. In the end, I didn't get the limited parfait at the main store, but I opted for the assorted plate instead! I heard they use natural sweeteners, so I was expecting a bit more sweetness, but the cocoa flavor was still delicious and satisfying. Probably because it's not refined sugar, I didn't feel heavy at all, and the taste was so good that I already crave it again today. I will definitely go back!

Terrine for takeout. No additives, no coloring! What a great sound. And as written, it melts in your mouth like raw chocolate! So good. It's small but quite firm and satisfying! Irresistible! It was the right decision to buy it!

I purchased this chocolate cake at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store Valentine Exhibition. I have been wanting to try it for years, and it was worth the wait. It is rich, moist, and melts smoothly in your mouth. The ganache has a hint of Grand Marnier flavor that spreads out, making it a sophisticated treat for adults.

I don't like sweet shaved ice, but I ordered one with chocolate since it was the only option available. Surprisingly, it wasn't overly sweet at all! In other words, it was refreshing and delicious! Despite being chocolate, it was light and tasty!! This was truly shocking. Although the shaved ice was quite expensive, I would love to come back with someone to enjoy it again.

Visited the renowned bean-to-bar shop "COCO KYOTO" representing Kyoto. They are particular about selecting ingredients, such as not using sugar, and focusing on health aspects. They participate in Salon du Chocolat and win awards at the International Chocolate Awards every year, showcasing their exceptional skills. I've heard that the pastry chef from my favorite patisserie in Takatsuki, "Canurie," gained experience at "COCO KYOTO," which has always piqued my interest. - Gâteau Chocolat (¥580) / Organic Coffee (¥570) The Gâteau Chocolat had a relatively firm and dense texture. The chocolate was incredibly rich, with no unnecessary sweetness, making it seem gentle on the body. It was delicious. Since there is a second branch in Nishii, I would like to visit there next time.

I visited a chocolate shop in Kyoto. The shop may not be well-known, but they offer chocolate that rivals famous shops. Each piece is rich in cocoa and very delicious! It would be greatly appreciated as a gift.

The products were almost sold out when I visited on Saturday evening, possibly due to being featured on TV. Despite thinking it would be calmer after Valentine's Day, there was very little left. Only baked goods and chocolate with nuts and dates were available. I believe there was also fresh chocolate, but I had to pass due to other plans. I tried it later and found the combination of bitter chocolate and dates to be delightful, with a lovely aroma. The sweetness of the dates and chocolate was subtle, making it a sophisticated flavor. The nuts added a satisfying weight to each piece. This chocolate is very popular and often sells out by noon. I would like to revisit on a day when I can go to Kyoto in the morning.

Chocolate has a high calorie content and makes you gain weight? No, that's not true at all! Right now, the chocolate industry is buzzing about "Bean-to-Bar Chocolate." It starts with selecting cocoa beans based on origin and quality, and then handles everything from roasting, grinding, blending, to molding in one workshop. In other words, they oversee the entire process from cocoa beans to chocolate in one place. Then there's "Raw Chocolate." Superfood cocoa is rich in essential nutrients for the body, and raw chocolate, as the name suggests, is made at temperatures below 48 degrees to preserve the natural components and nutrients of cocoa without compromising them, making it a hot topic. At "COCO KYOTO," they painstakingly handcraft their chocolates with their unique recipe. Additionally, their chocolates are made without white sugar or food additives, and are gluten-free! They use low GI and low sugar sweeteners like monk fruit and organic coconut sugar instead of white sugar. They also use rice flour instead of wheat flour, making stress-free chocolate. The sweeteners used in COCO KYOTO chocolates include: - Monk Fruit (GI value 0, sugar content 0) - Organic Agave Syrup (GI value 25) - Organic Coconut Sugar (GI value 35) These chocolates are made with the body in mind. On this day, I tried: - Kakigori made entirely from cocoa 990 yen - Chamomile German tea 550 yen - Exotic Chocolate 610 yen - Organic Earl Grey tea 550 yen The kakigori was delicately shaved cocoa ice, not too sweet and very delicious. They also offer a variety of non-caffeinated herbal teas and organically grown teas, perfect for tea lovers. The cakes are all adorable. The Exotic Chocolate cake had tropical fruit mousse cream and jelly inside, with cute chocolate flowers on top. It was a tropical cake where you could enjoy the texture of praline and crispy coconut. It's not just about the cute appearance, but also about being kind to your body. I want to reconsider and enjoy chocolates and sweets that will shape my future self. Delicious, healthy, and cute. Thank you for the meal!

After gelato, we decided to go for cake♥️ and headed north on Nishioji Street. We found a shop on the left just before Oike Street - the main store of COCO KYOTO. Although there is a branch near Nishikyogoku Station, we insisted on going to the main store, so we walked all the way from Shijo Street to Oike Street (//∇//). The interior of the shop has the typical trendy sweets shop vibe♪︎ This time, we had a cake that looked like a sunflower and a coffee set (^_-)-☆ I lost the note with the name of the cake, so I don't know the name, but I do remember that this cake was incredibly delicious (´౿`)♡ As usual, my partner went for some random and mysterious dessert set (laughs) There were two small chocolates included in the set, and these chocolates were incredibly delicious ✧*。٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و✧*。 It's no wonder they have won awards at the International Chocolate Awards for four consecutive years! It was delicious (*´▽`人) Thank you♡ Thank you for the meal m(_牛_)m

COCO KYOTO is a specialty store for craft chocolates (bean-to-bar chocolates, raw chocolates) with a workshop in Kyoto, as the name suggests. The store has only two locations in Nishijin, Kyoto, but their chocolates are also sold at department store events, making it a hidden gem. I recently visited the main store located just a few minutes' walk from Nishioji Sanjo on the Randen Arashiyama Line. In addition to selling chocolates, the store also offers original products and has a café space where you can sit and enjoy. The café space has only three table seats, so it can be quite competitive. The chocolates here are made using carefully selected organic cacao, with no additives, no white sugar, and are gluten-free. Despite being chocolates, they are surprisingly gentle on the body. The Chocolate Parfait is the ultimate parfait made with 11 different chocolate and cacao-based ingredients. It is a chocolate lover's dream with a rich chocolate sauce drizzled on top. The flavors range from rich chocolate ice cream to a variety of complex tastes that blend harmoniously. It's hard to describe the exact taste, but the deliciousness of the chocolate is always present, making it a blissful moment. I also had the option to add organic Earl Grey tea to my order, which was a refreshing choice to balance out the sweetness in my mouth. The parfait also comes with bite-sized chocolates in matcha and cacao flavors. As part of their summer promotion, my companion ordered the Shokora Shaved Ice, which is made entirely from cacao. The fluffy ice had a hint of chocolate flavor and paired perfectly with the chocolate ice cream and Hokkaido fresh cream. My companion also ordered the Pechu Chocolat, which, like the Chocolate Parfait, is made with 12 different ingredients (not just cacao) and includes a whole peach. The combination of cacao and fruit creates a complex flavor profile. It's a delightful experience to enjoy chocolates and cacao while keeping the calories low. Due to its popularity, some items may sell out quickly, so I recommend visiting early. I look forward to returning. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was thinking of using it as a cafe, but I didn't have enough time to stay, so I decided to buy and take it home. Stroisel Gateau Chocolat is a German-origin dish that looks like minced meat on top of a chocolate cake made with rice flour. It had a nice texture and added an accent. I also tried the Peru 50% Matcha Hojicha, Tanzania 70% Tamba Black Bean, and Kyoto Kinako flavors from the Kyoto series of vegan chocolates. The cafe was stylish and had comfortable seating, so I will definitely use it as a cafe next time!

"Rō Chokorēto specializes in bean-to-bar chocolates, which seems to be good for health and a great gift for those interested in food. I tried the Chocolate Parfait for 1380 yen (tax included). The taste was delicious and I thought it was good value for money. I would like to try buying and eating their chocolates next time."
