◎Overview
Located a short walk from Jiyugaoka Station on the Tokyu Line, this burger joint is unique in its setup, resembling a store converted from a rooftop of a building. It has been selected multiple times as one of the top 100 burger joints.
◎Notes
- We ordered 2 items. Here are the reviews:
- The Cheeseburger is the most popular item on the menu. It features a generous amount of cheese drizzled on top, making it an iconic burger. In addition to the sweet roasted onions, the main store includes tomatoes and lettuce in the sandwich, which adds a refreshing touch to the burger. The patty, reminiscent of a juicy meat cooked in a stone oven, perfectly complements the cheese, creating a delicious combination.
- The Honey Pink Burger is a unique burger made with blackcurrant honey sauce. It boasts a large homemade bacon in the center, which, combined with the saltiness of the bacon and the sweetness and acidity of the blackcurrant honey sauce, creates a delightful fruity and vibrant flavor. The pink peppercorns and red sunny lettuce scattered around add a visually appealing element to the burger.
- Each burger comes with hand-cut fried potatoes made from pesticide-free potatoes, which are simply delicious. The random crunchy texture of the cut surface and the perfectly cooked center reminiscent of tempura offer various surprises within a single potato. The organic tomato ketchup on the table is also very tasty, making the combination worth trying on its own.
- The prices are on the higher side, and due to limited seating, we had to wait for over an hour to get in. However, the unique taste and personality of the place made it worth the wait. Although there is a branch at Haneda Airport, the main store offers a more luxurious experience, making the taste here the true representation. It is recommended to visit on weekdays when you can make a reservation in advance or have enough time to spare.
◎Duration of Visit: Approximately 1 hour
◎Cost: ¥3,480 for 2 people (Cheeseburger ¥1,780, Honey Pink Burger ¥1,700)

At around noon on a public holiday, I finally got to try the coveted Blue Cheese Honey Burger that had a wait of 7 groups but surprisingly only took about 30 minutes to get my turn. It was delicious with a strong blue cheese flavor and a nice touch of honey, making it quite sweet. The fries were as tasty as ever. The drink was also very well-prepared and delicious. I was planning to order the Ginger Ale but ended up trying the limited-time Tropical Fruit and Vinegar drink recommended by the staff since I love vinegar. The syrup-soaked fruits and vinegar created a sweet and tangy flavor that was incredibly delicious.

The burgers at Jiyugaoka Burger were delicious, with a focus on natural ingredients like onions and tomatoes. The cheese was very tasty and the homemade cola with cinnamon was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend taking the meat to go.

If you want to eat a hamburger in Jiyugaoka, this is the place to go! The burgers are thick and filling, even for men. The menu is diverse, so you can enjoy it every time you go. The buns are soft and have a good weight to them. They go great with beer!

I visited Jiyugaoka Burger, which was selected as one of the top 100 restaurants, as I had been there a few times before. I had been putting off going because it's conveniently located nearby. I decided to visit again after skipping breakfast for a medical check-up in Jiyugaoka. Luckily, there was no wait and I ordered the standard cheeseburger with an iced coffee. I took a big bite and enjoyed the juicy patty covered in cheese, with slightly firm buns and plenty of lettuce. The cheese was especially delicious, made from a blend of cheddar, Stilton, and another type according to the staff. When I crave a burger, I'll definitely be coming back to Jiyugaoka Burger.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station, the popular restaurant Jiyugaoka Burger Main Store is where my colleagues and I visited this time. We were intrigued by the fact that you can have a BBQ at a burger joint!

The staff grills the meat for you, which is a nice touch. It ensures that you can enjoy the food at the perfect timing without any mistakes! The first surprise was the onion rings that looked like donuts. I usually don't eat them much, but the ones here were exquisite! The potatoes were also in a unique shape and incredibly delicious! However, the highlight was definitely the hamburgers! They were incredibly tasty! The drink options were plentiful, including beer, highball, and shochu. The atmosphere was great in the evening! I would like to visit for lunch next time!

This is a famous gourmet burger restaurant in Jiyugaoka. It is located on the rooftop of a building on the 4th floor, with a nice view. First, let's talk about the drinks. The homemade lemonade is said to be quite delicious. The burgers are the Rich Basil Tomato Cheese for 1940 yen and the Smoked Pork (Bacon) Cheese for 1980 yen. These are considered somewhat pricey among gourmet burgers. The burgers are quite large, with sturdy buns that don't get squished, so it seems like it would be good to eat them with a knife and fork. The Rich Basil Tomato Cheese burger has a lot of vegetables and has a refreshing taste. The patty doesn't stand out much. The Smoked Pork (Bacon) Cheese burger highlights the cheese and bacon. Again, the patty doesn't stand out much. Both burgers are well-balanced and tasty as a meal, but the lack of emphasis on the patty makes the burger feel less like you're eating meat.

I visited for the first time. I didn't have to wait in line around 1 pm on a weekday. All the tables were on the balcony, and the atmosphere was very nice. The Classic Burger I ordered was delicious. Especially the bread was tasty even on its own. The patty wasn't very juicy and was a bit tough, but it tasted good when combined with the soft bread and creamy onions.

It was Sunday afternoon, so there was about a 40-minute wait, but they had a convenient call system. They were also very welcoming to dogs, providing potato snacks for them. The unique lemon squash drink was interesting as you had to add the carbonation yourself. The main hamburger was simple with no extra sauce, allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the ingredients. #Day out in Yamato #Jiyugaoka Burger Jiyugaoka Branch #Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo

I visited around 12:30 on Saturday and was second in line. I ordered the Honey Pink burger. The patty, smoked bacon, onions, pepper, and sweet and salty cassis mustard sauce all matched perfectly. The burger looked cute and was very satisfying in terms of portion size! The lemonade is a self-serve style. It's great that you can drink a lot, but if you misjudge the ratio, it can end up being diluted towards the end.

I ordered a Honey Blue Cheese burger. It was delicious! It had a thick patty and sesame seed buns with thick onions, blue cheese, and honey. This kind of burger combination is new to me. Of course, they also had classic American burgers with avocado, but I thought this kind of burger was unique and tasty.

It was the weekend so there was a wait with several groups ahead of us. We registered for the waitlist and received a phone call when our table was ready. The only seating available was on the terrace, which felt like a greenhouse - extremely hot. Even on a day without direct sunlight, the heat was unbearable. There were a few fans running but they only circulated warm air, providing no relief from the heat. We tried to cope with the heat by drinking cold beverages. The glass was filled with a mountain of ice... but it couldn't be mixed! The ice melted quickly due to the indoor heat. The avocado burger was delicious, but it had some tough chunks (meat pieces) in the patty, which I didn't enjoy. I thought I was getting better at eating burgers lately, but this one was a challenge - I ended up finishing the bun before anything else. The portion of fries was generous and filling.

A must-visit for burger lovers. I tried the cheeseburger and the thick patty was incredibly delicious. The cheese paired perfectly with the meat, creating a perfect balance. It was nice that they wrapped it in paper from the beginning. The homemade ginger was also delicious!

The onion rings are amazing. A giant onion ring the size of a donut costs 280 yen. I couldn't resist ordering it... It seems like they focus on organic ingredients, as even the ketchup tasted strongly of tomatoes and was delicious. The side of potatoes was also delicious, with a natural taste that was very enjoyable. This restaurant doesn't just excel in burgers, even the sides and condiments are delicious. I will definitely be coming back here again.

⏪Tokyo Gourmet (Must-Eat Burger at Tabelog Top 100 | Jiyugaoka)\\I waited for an hour on a holiday, and finally got to eat it. Lately, the places I want to go to have been very crowded. I went for lunch on a Saturday with a former colleague, and we arrived around 12pm, but as expected, it was full and we were given a numbered ticket. They call you when it's your turn by phone. However, after 10 minutes, they start calling the next person, so make sure to hurry back to the restaurant when you get the call. I was slow to notice the phone call and return to the restaurant, and apparently they had already started calling the next person... It was almost another hour wait...⚠️Unlike weekends, you can make reservations on weekdays, so if you're going all out, I recommend going on a weekday!!! However, it was worth the one-hour wait for the incredibly delicious burger--------------------------------The perfection is high! I'm curious about the other menu items too! Plenty of delicious cheese. A blend of Red Cheddar as the base. The combination of the buns, patty, and cheese is outstanding. I now understand why so many people recommend the fries. I want to eat it every day. They use pesticide-free potatoes. The ketchup is organic. The sauces, mustard, bacon, cola, are all homemade. Worth more than the price. The water is not tap water. The staff have various original drinks with their own unique touches.--------------------------------By the way, it seems they have branches at Haneda Airport and Aoyama. The nearest station is Jiyugaoka, about a 4-minute walk from the north exit. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of a building. It has a rooftop feel to it, similar to what you might find overseas. I tried the Classic Burger with Blue Cheese and Honey in regular size for 1780 yen, with the optional addition of jalapenos. The Classic Burger has minimal vegetables, allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the patty in a straightforward and simple way. It includes onions. The combination of blue cheese and honey is like something you would find on a pizza, and it's actually quite delicious. Adding spicy jalapenos catered to my personal taste. The meal comes with whole fries. I had water as my drink, which turned out to be cost-effective and saved me from consuming unnecessary sugars. I believe the patty could be even more delicious. Although this falls within the premium burger price range, it doesn't particularly stand out as premium. With many competitors in the market, this restaurant's uniqueness has somewhat diminished.

Ordered items: Chili Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Homemade Lemonade, Homemade Ginger Ale. Checked in at 12 o'clock and there were 7 groups ahead at that time. Waited for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until seated. Unable to wait inside the store, so waited nearby until called on mobile phone. Only 5 tables available. Takeout option is available.

I arrived around 1 pm on a holiday and waited for about 30 minutes with a numbered ticket system before being able to enter. I ordered the "Cheeseburger" (1780 yen). There was nothing particularly outstanding about the taste, but the patty and vegetables were consistently delicious, and the portion was generous, so I was satisfied. It was a bit difficult to eat because it was too big to bite into, and my mouth got messy. It would have been better to use a knife and fork.

Arrived at the restaurant around 1pm on Sunday and there were about 18 groups waiting. They have an automatic calling service, so I wandered around until I was called. I was called in about an hour and a half. Once inside, I was seated right away. The entire restaurant seemed to have terrace seating, which made me think it would be very cold in the middle of summer or winter. The atmosphere seemed nice for dinner. I ordered a cheeseburger. It was ready in about 10 minutes. The taste was... considering the long wait, it was just okay. The cheese was generously placed and paired well with the meat. But overall, the burger didn't have any outstanding features, so I got a bit bored and changed the taste with ketchup. The onions inside the burger were roasted in the oven, giving them a sweet flavor which was nice. The side of potatoes was also delicious. In terms of cost performance, I don't think it's very high. If I'm in Jiyugaoka and craving a hamburger without a wait, I might go back. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about this local hamburger shop that I heard was always crowded, even though they also have a branch in Haneda. I arrived 15 minutes before opening and managed to get a table on the terrace despite already being third in line. I ordered the Chili Cheese Burger with jalapeños, while my companion had the Guacamole Blue Cheese Honey, which turned out to be avocado with blue cheese and honey (surprisingly delicious!). The buns were light and just right in size, and the side of potatoes was also tasty and unique. It's easy to see why this place is so popular. As we were leaving, the staff kindly offered us some homemade ketchup to take with us. The staff were friendly and professional, confirming that this place is indeed a popular spot. I will definitely be going back! ❤️

Visited a hamburger shop in Jiyugaoka that I had been curious about. Even though I went right after opening on a weekday, there were already about 3 groups of customers ahead of me. Since the seating is not very plentiful, it seems like it could get crowded on weekends. I ordered the cheeseburger (regular size) that I had my eye on. The cheese was incredibly rich and gooey! The buns had a unique flavor (in a good way). I should have asked where they source their buns from.
