Satella Coffee, which took over a coffee shop that had been running for 48 years, is known for its famous pudding. The pudding was absolutely delicious, but what stood out even more was the fantastic customer service. The pudding is best described as "a step before cheesecake." It is creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness, made with condensed milk and cream cheese. I ordered a cafe latte, but I felt like this pudding would go perfectly with iced coffee. The majority of customers here are men dining alone, but it's a welcoming cafe for both men and women dining solo. The female staff members are friendly and easy to talk to, while the male staff members provide detailed explanations. I'm not usually a fan of pudding, but this one was so good, with a taste similar to a creamy Basque cheesecake. I highly recommend it, especially for cheesecake lovers.

Visit on June 6, 2023. "Kissa Satella" on Miyamasakaue. I had seen the simple sign with the name of the cafe a few times before, but never paid much attention to it. This time, I finally visited and had wonderful coffee and pudding. I arrived around 6 p.m. The cafe is located in a building on the street, with "Mouyan Curry" on the right side and the cafe on the left. I placed my order and paid at the counter, where a young woman with short blonde hair assisted me. She was handling everything by herself. I ordered the hand-drip coffee for 650 yen and the pudding for 600 yen. I was seated at a table near the entrance, and my order was brought to me. It seemed like the cafe was full as well. The coffee, from Ethiopia, had a light bitterness and a refreshing aroma, making it very enjoyable. I usually don't drink black coffee, but I found this blend to be delicious until the last drop. The pudding, made with cream cheese and condensed milk, was exceptional. Overall, I was very satisfied and felt like I had found a great cafe. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I had pudding and other desserts at Cafe Satera! I arrived at 10:50 and had to wait for about 10 minutes until they opened at 11. I was the first customer. The staff asked me to finish in an hour due to expected crowds. I ordered iced coffee for 600 yen and pudding for 600 yen. The pudding was like a rare cheesecake and very delicious! When I left after about 40 minutes, the place was full. I definitely want to visit again! If you're interested, please give it a try!

It had a nostalgic flavor that I enjoyed. The staff's "have a good day" upon leaving was memorable. The cafe is naturally quiet, but it is quite peaceful, making it more suitable for enjoying drinks and sweets alone rather than chatting with friends.

Eating out and trying different places makes me want to explore new ones, but there's a shop here that I want to come back to again and again, even if it means climbing a hill. The rich pudding made with plenty of condensed milk and cream cheese is a modern and retro dish priced at 600 yen. Today's blend is Guatemala and something else, with a pleasant acidity that still tastes good even when it cools down. They also offered lemon water, which they added halfway through. The system of ordering at the entrance and paying when leaving is convenient as there is no need to worry about waiting time. Even on weekdays, there was a line, showing how popular it is. The signboard for "Mouyan Curry" is a landmark for this place.

It took over the location of the longstanding coffee shop "Aoyama Sakan" that had been operating in Shibuya for 48 years. You can enjoy a fragrant and gentle coffee that you want to drink every day, as well as specialties such as pudding and doria. [Atmosphere] You can spend a relaxing adult time in the dimly lit interior. The interior has a nostalgic yet modern and clean atmosphere, as it is a takeover of a longstanding coffee shop. There were about 5 counter seats, 6 table seats, and 8 private rooms available. [Food] The pudding is made with plenty of condensed milk and cream cheese, as explained when served. It's slightly different from regular pudding, more like Italian pudding with added condensed milk. It's not overly sweet, but the unique sweetness of condensed milk goes well with coffee. It feels firm when passing through with a spoon, but surprisingly smooth when eaten...! I got the impression that they are particular about the baking process. [Drink] All the coffee at Cafe Satella is made from carefully selected specialty coffee beans. It is considered rare, with only about 6-8% of coffee consumed in Japan being of this quality. I was able to enjoy the rich taste and aroma of the beans with minimal off-flavors. You can choose from three types of blended beans - light roast, medium roast, and dark roast - and have them carefully hand-dripped for each cup. They adjust the brewing method according to the condition of the beans that day, so you can enjoy it in the best possible state. Coffee lovers will definitely be satisfied. [Service] The quiet service matched the calm atmosphere perfectly. However, it was the opposite of unfriendly, and I was healed by the lovely smile of the waitress. Since it is a bit far from the station, I think it's a place where you can take a break, as you won't have to wait much even on weekends or if you do, it's relatively short, and you can relax inside.

I was looking for a cafe in Shibuya and was intrigued by the delicious-looking pudding. Instead of pudding, I chose coffee anmitsu and iced Darjeeling tea! However, around 4:30 pm, I was lucky enough to enter without waiting in line. The interior had a counter and several two-person tables, as well as larger tables in the back. The chai and pudding were made using cream and cheese, resulting in a rich and smooth texture. The subtle cheese aroma and richness were to my liking. I would love to try it again, especially since the flavors change seasonally. The chai had a more complex spice blend compared to other places, with a refreshing taste that was perfect for summer. The customers included elderly individuals enjoying a leisurely time alone and young people having lively conversations. A cafe loved by people of all ages and genders. Wonderful experience. On Monday afternoon around 2 o'clock during the Obon festival, about 80% of the customers were in the store. There are about 8 seats at the counter and around 10 table seats, creating a cozy and calm atmosphere. The pudding with cream cheese inside is said to be firm and has a strong egg flavor, with a hint of cheese acidity that is delicious. The iced coffee (drip blend) is dark roasted and robust, which is delicious. I also want to try the craft cola.

Climbing up Miyamasuzaka in Shibuya towards Omotesando, a little further down the road is a cafe called Satera. I've seen the sign countless times, but for some reason the neighboring sign always caught my eye, so I kept passing by it unknowingly. One day, after reading a review, I decided to visit. From the outside, it looks like just an old-fashioned cafe, but once inside, it's beautifully renovated and apparently opened in 2020. I went there for lunch and had the doria, their recommended pudding, and cold brew coffee. The doria was meticulously made, with a sophisticated touch that made me wonder if this is what elegant doria looks like! It had tender beef stew-like meat on top of it, and was hot, cheesy, and delicious. The portion wasn't too big, but just right to leave room for the pudding. The pudding, made with condensed milk and cream cheese, was smooth and rich, with a firm texture that was very satisfying. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It seems like I was the only one who didn't know about Satera's existence! On my way back, I noticed about 10 people waiting in line outside. The cafe is slightly tucked away from the main street, which is probably why I never noticed it before. It was a delicious meal, thanks for the treat!

She mentioned that they make the pudding by boiling tea leaves in condensed milk, which seemed to be a time-consuming process. The pudding had a sticky texture, and the tea flavor was distinct without being overpowered by the condensed milk. It was quite unique and memorable. Although it wasn't the regular pudding I was looking for, I was satisfied with my choice. I visited the cafe Satera in Shibuya, which I had always wanted to visit. I ordered the Red Tea Pudding (700 yen) and the Daily Coffee (DARK BLEND) (550 yen). I had some errands in Omotesando and decided to stop by Satera before that. It happened to be Thursday and they were serving breakfast, but considering my schedule, I opted for the pudding and coffee this time. The cinnamon toast smelled delicious, and I love it, so I was tempted to order it too, but I'll save it for next time. The pudding I had was a limited-time Red Tea Pudding until July 9th. The tea leaves are finely crushed and boiled with milk to infuse the pudding with the strong character of red tea. The staff explained this to me, and it was true when I tasted it! The aroma was delightful, and it was a happy pudding time. I look forward to coming back for breakfast another time! I enjoyed my visit this day as well. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Arrived around 11:30 on Saturday. There were about 6 customers waiting in front of me. However, since it's a time-limited restaurant, I didn't expect the turnover to be slow. I was able to enter after waiting for about 30 minutes. Had a hot doria, followed by pudding and dark roast coffee for dessert. Highly recommended for when you want to be in a quiet space and feel satisfied.

I came before lunch as there is expected to be a long line on weekends! As expected, there was no waiting time and only 2-3 other customers. What I ate: - Black tea pudding 700 yen - Today's coffee 550 yen "Black tea pudding" Limited pudding for June. The deep aroma of black tea and the rich taste of black tea milk spread throughout the mouth. Assam tea leaves are used. I also love the coffee milk pudding from last time, but I also love the "black tea pudding", so I want to eat it at least once a year. I came to try the limited-time coffee milk pudding. I arrived before 11am, but there were already a few people lined up before opening. I ordered the coffee milk pudding and an iced cafe latte. They apparently boil coffee beans in milk to bring out the flavor. Personally, I felt that it had just the right amount of sweetness even without caramel syrup. I also feel like I want to try a regular pudding again, but lately I've been ordering only limited-time items.

Even on weekdays, there is often a line, and sometimes you may have to wait for over an hour, with the pudding being almost sold out every day and usually sold out by around 4 or 5 pm. The specialty menu item is, of course, the pudding! They offer plain pudding as well as limited-time flavors. They also focus on coffee and tea, with light meals like doria available. On this visit, I had the Coffee Milk Pudding for 650 yen and the daily coffee (Dark Blend) for 550 yen. The Coffee Milk Pudding, part of the limited-time series, was my favorite - smooth, creamy, and with a soft texture. It was made with milk coffee, creating a deliciously mellow coffee milk flavor. The coffee of the day, a blend of Guatemala and Brazil, paired well with the pudding, offering a refreshing taste. I can't believe I have to wait another year for the next Coffee Milk Pudding - it's too hard to bear.
