We enjoyed sushi at Tsukiji Market from 7 am, then went shopping and leisurely strolled around the rooftop garden. After that, we went to Mochisuke Dango with four people at 10 am on Saturday. We were seated at the back and ordered the new menu item, An Butter Sandwich for 650 yen including tax, with a set including iced coffee for 950 yen including tax. You can also choose tea as your drink. My friends chose Cream Anmitsu with matcha ice cream for 900 yen including tax. They brought us hot green tea and about 20 minutes later, the An Butter Sandwich arrived. The bread was crispy and the inside was filled with plenty of sweet bean paste and butter. The combination of the firm texture of the bread and the high-quality sweet bean paste and butter was beyond delicious. It was truly amazing! The sandwich went well with the iced coffee too. My friends also enjoyed their Anmitsu, which looked delicious. Mochisuke Dango has a bright and clean interior, where you can enjoy high-quality An Butter Sandwiches with delicious iced coffee. Highly recommended! For more details, please check out the blog link below:

Unlike mitarashi dango, this dango is simply dipped in a gentle soy sauce that enhances the sweetness and deliciousness of the mochi. The fillings like smooth sweet red bean paste or whole sweet red beans are conventional but offer a comforting and delicious taste that makes you want to come back for more. It's a bit strange to find a dango shop inside Tsukiji Market, but the taste and atmosphere exude tradition and reliability.

Visited around 9:40 on a sunny Saturday. They offer take-out sweets at the front, and there is a cafe space in the back. There were a few people buying souvenirs, but the cafe space had two groups already seated. I had sushi earlier and felt like having a drink afterwards. I could have had coffee, but I was drawn to the matcha. I used to learn tea ceremony in the past, and sometimes I crave it. The bitterness is nice. It feels refreshing after the sushi. When paired with the sweetness of the monaka, it becomes even more delicious. The refreshing bitterness of the tea seeped into my body.

After eating a Chashu Egg at Tonkatsu Yachiyo, I wandered around the same building and found Shokichi Dango as a souvenir. The store looked like just a regular shop, and it was a bit sad compared to the Tsukiji era. The prices were still high, though. I bought a mix of 4 dango for over 700 yen. The mix included two with soy sauce, one with smooth red bean paste, and one with chunky red bean paste. The dango were all about the same size, making them easy to eat. The way the fillings were applied seemed a bit uniform, lacking uniqueness or distinctiveness. The dango were packed in a way that the slightly burnt side was facing out, which was interesting. The soy sauce dango had a light soy sauce flavor and a nice roasted taste. It didn't have the overpowering sweetness like mitarashi, allowing the true flavor of the dango to shine through. Personally, I found the smooth red bean paste more enjoyable than the chunky one. The skewers were a bit short, making it a bit difficult to eat. Overall, the smooth red bean paste dango was the most delicious. Pairing it with green tea made me feel happy.

There is a shop inside the management facility building of Toyosu Market. It is a store mainly selling goods, but you can eat the purchased sweets in the café space inside. Only coffee and matcha are available for drinks. If you don't order them, a seating fee will be charged. The seating fee is charged, but green tea is served, so it is up to you whether to order it or not. Consult with the staff and order the popular sweets. I chose the anko (red bean paste) dumpling with whole beans for 176 yen. The anko paste of the whole beans was delicious! It was small but had a firm anko paste, so it was satisfying to eat. I also tried the soy sauce dumpling for 158 yen. You can understand the simplicity of the dumpling's chewy texture and deliciousness. I had a coffee for 400 yen. It was an easy-to-drink coffee. It didn't come out immediately after ordering, but it seemed like they brewed it carefully. It was just a delicious coffee! The staff was kind and helped me choose the products. There is no default product with one anko and one soy sauce dumpling, but they accommodated that request. They also helped a group of young women with their photo shoot, smiling and assisting from various angles, despite being busy. It was a wonderful shop! Thank you for the meal.

I took my niece to have breakfast at Toyosu Market and, at my wife's request, we also tried some dango at Shokurou. For some reason, I always feel like eating mochi when I'm there, so we got a set of three dango with red bean paste, white bean paste, and soy sauce, as well as some warabi mochi with black honey that my daughter wanted. The mochi was nice and soft, just the way I like it.

I stopped by "Sushi Sho" after lunch for some sweets. I was looking forward to trying the dango that inspired the Dango Brothers' song. The shop had many customers getting takeout, so there were plenty of seats available for dining in. Customers who purchased dango or traditional Japanese sweets for takeout could also enjoy them in the store by paying a tea fee. I ordered: - 2 pieces of Shigesuke dango (red bean paste) for 381 yen (tax included) - A seat for sweets for 165 yen - Shiratama cream anmitsu (matcha) for 1,080 yen The Shigesuke dango had a perfect and elegant sweetness in the red bean paste, very delicious. The Shiratama cream anmitsu came with four smooth and chewy dango, topped with black honey and red bean paste, which was very tasty. It had a generous amount of agar jelly and red beans, making it quite filling. You could choose between vanilla or matcha ice cream. It was a satisfying experience to enjoy delicious cream anmitsu and dango after a long time. The service was polite and pleasant. If you are in Toyosu, I highly recommend stopping by this dango shop.

Located on the third floor of the management building in Toyosu, this shop has been a favorite of mine since the days of the old Tsukiji Market. I hadn't had the chance to go to Toyosu to buy their products for a while, but when I had to go to the Rokkakubashi area, I decided to buy some dango after a long time. I got the soy sauce and anko mix for 722 yen. It had been about two and a half years since I last bought it. This time, the anko was divided into tsubuan (chunky red bean paste) and koshian (smooth red bean paste). I can't remember if it used to be tsubuan or koshian before, but the tsubuan had a wonderful aroma of anko while the koshian was light and easy to eat. The soy sauce was also lightly seasoned. The dango itself was very soft. It had been a long time since I last ate it, and my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I feel like the dango used to be firmer. Perhaps it has evolved further?

Once again at Toyosu Market. I usually come here when I visit the market. However, it's different from the first time I came. Last month, there were many dessert options, but now it's just an A4 paper menu. Before, the syrup came in a cute chick-shaped container, but now it's just plain. Well, that was only at the beginning, so it's okay, but even the menu has been simplified. The service is also cold and terrible. I don't think I'll visit again.

Head to the dessert shop inside Toyosu Market. I tried the Cold Matcha Latte for ¥650 and the Cream White Tapioca Anmitsu for ¥950. Both were incredibly delicious! The homemade white tapioca was fluffy and chewy, while the sweet red bean paste had just the right amount of sweetness. The apricot and pineapple were so fresh and sweet, especially because they were from the fruit section of the market. I chose vanilla ice cream, which was also perfectly sweet and had a light, fluffy texture that complemented the dish well. I would definitely want to have the Cream White Tapioca Anmitsu again! The Matcha Latte had a true matcha flavor with added gum syrup for sweetness. It was so refreshing on a hot day! This shop is perfect for a little break after enjoying sushi. ♡

Every time I come to Toyosu Market, I also visit here. Shosuke Dango is located on the 3rd floor of Toyosu Market Management Facility Building (Block 7). Established 120 years ago since 1898. A long-established Japanese confectionery shop. It's a super popular shop that sells 3,000 dango balls in the morning alone, starting from when they had a store in Tsukiji. It's a recommended product by Matsuko-san. Also, their Kusamochi and Sekihan are popular as stylish souvenirs. Finally got to buy the dango this time. It was delicious! Chewy! I could eat as many as I want♡ The Sekihan is also delicious.

I visited this shop located inside Toyosu Market. I arrived around 11 am on a Saturday. The market building itself was quite busy at that time, but the shop, which offers sweets for snacks or after lunch, was relatively quiet. I decided to get a few traditional Japanese sweets to go. They had refrigerated sweets as well, but most had a short expiration date. I purchased dorayaki, mochi balls, and sweetfish-shaped sweets. The dorayaki came in a pack of two for exactly 800 yen, which I found to be reasonably priced. The sweets were on the smaller side overall. The dorayaki had a unique feature of having a generous amount of filling around the mochi, which had a chewy texture and a balanced sweetness. The sweetfish-shaped sweet had a chewy mochi texture and a slightly strong sweetness in both the skin and the filling, but the small size prevented it from being too overwhelming. The sweetfish-shaped sweet had a unique filling, while the outer skin was fluffy and well-balanced in flavor. The distinct mochi texture of the sweets and the overall balance of sweetness earned them a high rating from me.

Visited around 12:00 on Saturday. The restaurant was full, so we put our name down and waited. We were seated after about 15 minutes. By around 1:30, it became empty for a while, maybe people who had sushi for breakfast or took a break before getting sushi lined up. I ordered a matcha latte because it looked very appealing. My companion wanted to try the manju, so we chose that too (soy sauce x 2, chunky red bean paste, smooth red bean paste). The soy sauce manju was simple and soft. The smooth red bean paste was similar to a certain popular brand. The chunky red bean paste was flavorful and delicious. Overall, the manju was just okay, not as amazing as expected. It's a spot where you can relax with a simple sweetness. The manju had a delicious crispy skin. The staff were relatively friendly and left a decent impression.

Today I got takeout from this shop. I ordered a mix of 4 dango for 722 yen. The mix included two mitarashi dango and two anko dango. The mitarashi dango was surprisingly not very flavorful, but maybe they focus more on bringing out the taste of the mochi. Next, I tried the anko dango. It was moist, smooth, not too sweet, and had an elegant taste. I really love the flavor of this anko dango.

Popular dumpling shop in Toyosu Market. I arrived at the market and went straight to buy because they close at noon. The shop is located in the dining area of Block 7.
- Shigesuke Dumplings Mix 4pcs (722 yen)
1 x fine red bean paste
1 x coarse red bean paste
2 x soy sauce
I bought them in the morning and enjoyed them at home in the evening. Even after half a day, the mochi was still very soft. The red bean paste is very delicious. Especially the fine red bean paste has a smooth texture and is very tasty. The soy sauce flavor is also good but a bit light. Next time, I will buy a set with only red bean paste.
- Dorayaki (221 yen)
It has a delicious coarse red bean paste filling. The skin is moist and very tasty.
- Matcha Steamed Dorayaki (221 yen)
This one has fine red bean paste. It is smooth and silky. The fluffy skin is very delicious. It was different from regular dorayaki, more like a steamed bun. Personally, I liked this one more than the regular dorayaki.
- Uogashi Senbei (161 yen)
It has a fish market mark, so it seems like a good souvenir. The red bean paste is sweeter compared to the dorayaki and dumplings. It was also delicious.
All of them were tasty, but the deliciousness of the red bean paste stood out. Especially the fine red bean paste was very delicious, so next time I will buy just the red bean paste. Thank you for the meal.

I found a limited edition item at Toyosu Market while strolling around, it's the strawberry daifuku for ¥380. I decided to have it as dessert after my meal. When I opened the container, a sweet strawberry scent filled the air. The daifuku has a strawberry on top, making it a bit tricky to eat both the daifuku and the strawberry together.

During work, I stopped by with a customer for lunch and ordered "udon". In the past, when I used to work in Tsukiji, it was convenient to quickly buy some Motsuke dango as a gift for customers or clients. This was my first time eating in the restaurant and trying their udon. The udon had a refined and gentle flavor, typical of a traditional Japanese sweets shop. Although this time I had udon, personally I think the anko dango is incredibly delicious.

Toyosu Market Block 7, Management Facility Building 3rd Floor, is a "Japanese confectionery shop/sweet shop". They sell their famous "dango" and other traditional Japanese sweets, as well as light meals like tamagozoni and sekihan, desserts like anmitsu, matcha and wagashi, and drinks. The shop has been popular among customers with a sweet tooth in the market. Established in 1898 in Nihonbashi, they later operated in Tsukiji Market before moving to Toyosu Market in October 2018. During their time in Tsukiji, their "dango" would sell out in the morning, so early visits were recommended. The shop is located about 5-7 minutes from Yurikamome Market-Front Station, in the dining area on the 3rd floor of the management facility building in Block 7 of Toyosu Market. The interior is bright and welcoming compared to their Tsukiji location. During a visit in May 2015, I purchased their soy sauce and red bean paste "dango" which was simply delicious. The shop offers a variety of traditional Japanese sweets, with "dango" being the highlight. They have assortments of dango, dorayaki, suhama, chestnut manju, and more. The dango comes in three varieties: soy sauce, red bean paste, and white bean paste. I tried the soy sauce dango (158 yen) and the white bean paste dango (176 yen), both of which were tasty and not overly sweet. The soy sauce dango had a perfect balance of saltiness, while the white bean paste dango had a higher ratio of paste to dango, resembling an "anko-dama". Both were fresh and delicious, best enjoyed alternating between the two flavors. The dango stayed soft and fresh the next day as well. I haven't had the chance to try their famous "tamagozoni" yet, but I always end up buying dango as a souvenir due to being full during my visits. I'll have to make a return trip specifically for the tamagozoni next time.

The dumpling shop looked delicious, so even though I was full, I couldn't help but buy some. I got some dumplings and a dorayaki. The dumplings were quite small and beautiful. The mochi was even smaller, giving the feeling of eating the anko filling. The anko was subtly sweet and had an elegant taste. It had a hint of bean flavor, almost like sweet red bean paste. I was expecting a harmony between the chewy mochi and the sweet anko, but it was a bit different than what I had in mind. I think the anko could have been a bit sweeter. Maybe the enjoyment comes from savoring the anko slowly. The dorayaki also didn't quite meet my taste preferences. Thank you for the meal.

I was very grateful for Tsukiji Nakao's service back in the days. The previous owner loved dango, so I often bought some as a snack at 10 o'clock. Sometimes I crave it, so I visit Toyosu to time it right, and I still visit there now. I choose some items that catch my eye and enjoy them at work. I liked the chestnut dorayaki and the smooth red bean paste. Thank you for the delicious treats.
