I visited this restaurant before the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, I didn't start using Tabelog yet, so I don't have a clear impression of it. However, on this day, I decided to visit after a long time for the following reasons: After finishing a meeting in Kyobashi a bit earlier than usual, around 12:30 pm, I was walking through the Yaesu underground shopping area on my way to the next destination via Tokyo Station. I was thinking about having an early meal that could be eaten quickly, as most other restaurants still had lines. This place caught my eye because there was no line and I hadn't had a hamburger in a while. When I entered the restaurant, a female staff member asked me how many people. I indicated one person with my finger, and she asked me to wait a bit before disappearing into the back. Surprisingly, it took some time for her to return. During that time, no other customers came in. After a while, she led me to a table near the entrance, which was visible from the outside and had been empty from the beginning. I thought she might have gone around the entire restaurant. I ordered the "Ritz Clark W Burger," a burger with a double patty that was named after the restaurant, and a ginger ale to go with it. I chose coleslaw salad as the side dish instead of French fries, considering the total calories. The ginger ale and water arrived first, followed by the burger. The burger was smaller than I expected, and the coleslaw salad bowl was also small. I started eating right away. The taste was not particularly distinctive, just a hint of saltiness. I added Heinz ketchup and mustard from the table and continued eating. The W burger contained two patties, onions, and only a slice of prosciutto, with no other pickles. The saltiness was mainly from the prosciutto. It seemed like the seasoning was just salt and pepper. The patty seemed to be the type without fillers, focusing on the natural meat flavor. It's a matter of personal preference, which can vary. The sauce used for the coleslaw salad, which was pink like an aurora sauce, was slightly sweet. The overall balance of flavors between the burger and the coleslaw salad seemed a bit off to me. After finishing everything, my impression was that the burger was small, even with the double patty, and not very filling. So, in terms of value for money, I was a bit unsure. I'm not familiar with the American standard, but is it neutral to season each bite with ketchup and mustard like this? Also, the slightly sweet aurora sauce used for the coleslaw salad (which was average) added to the subtle balance of flavors. The total payment was: - Ritz Clark W Burger ¥2,100 (tax included) - Coleslaw ¥0 - Ginger ale ¥250 (tax included) Total ¥2,350. Some previous reviewers have written about this place, and it seems to belong to a genre that can't be classified as fast food. Tastes may vary widely, so this falls into the realm of personal preference. Thank you for the meal.
