I love candy apples, so when I heard about this place, I came here just to try it. The candy apple was extremely cold. It was freezing. It was hard to chew... The taste of the apple itself was also weak... Maybe I had too high expectations... I came on a weekday, maybe that's why. My friend who came on a Sunday said it wasn't as cold and it was delicious. If I happen to come around here on a Sunday or something, I'd like to give it another try. The 100% apple juice was very delicious.

The candy was crispy, and the apple was crunchy, sweet, and very delicious. It was easy to eat because it was cut into pieces. I will definitely try it when I visit Kiyomizu-dera again. I am very curious about the cinnamon flavor.

Today after lunch, I went to the trendy candy apple specialty store, Candy Apple Shimizu Nezaka branch. Originally only in Daikanyama, Tokyo, I was excited to find out they opened in Kansai as well, making this the first store in Kansai. Since it just opened in April, there wasn't a long line yet, so now is a good time to visit if you're interested. I bought a cut matcha apple and a hojicha apple as a souvenir. The cut apple was very juicy, sweet, and delicious. The slight bitterness of the matcha spread in my mouth followed by the sweetness of the apple, making it very tasty. There are many flavors available, so it's a candy apple that won't get boring. Next time, I want to try a different flavor. The matcha and hojicha candy apples I bought this time cost 790 yen, and the shop bag was 10 yen. Give it a try, everyone! ❤️

I came to a stylish candy apple shop. It is the first store in Kansai, opened in Kyoto in April. I thought it might just be for Instagram, but it was the first store in Kansai, so I looked for it. The apples were juicy and delicious, and the candy was pleasantly sweet and tasty. I would like to come back again. It's a good time to visit now because it's not crowded. The candy apple in matcha flavor was 790 yen. I was able to buy it without waiting in line. Since it's a new store with freshly made items, I think now is a good time to visit.

Stylish candy apple shop. The Kyoto store opened in April. They ran out of apples at one point, but they restocked and there was a line again. The sliced candy apples have a shelf life of 30 minutes, but are good for a whole day. They have various flavors, and the mushroom flavor was delicious.

There was a cute and stylish candy apple specialty store in Kyoto. Oh, it was actually a shop in Tokyo. Well, anyway. The apples were shiny and cute, and the plain one was delicious. I would like to try the flavored ones next time.

I tried the Kyoto-exclusive matcha flavored Yatsuhashi. The sweetness of the apple candy and the slight bitterness of the matcha matched perfectly, and it was very delicious.

A specialty shop offering a variety of apple candy flavors, which has been featured in dramas and various media, has finally opened its first store in Kansai! The shop is located on the approach to Kiyomizu Temple, near popular spots like Starbucks Coffee Kyoto Ninenzaka Yasaka Chaya and The Unir Coffee Senses, making it a bustling area for tourists. The apple candies are cut into bite-sized pieces, perfect for enjoying while walking around. The main store is in Daikanyama, Tokyo, and after participating in department store events, it has finally opened its long-awaited first store in Kansai. The plain apple candy costs 680 yen (tax included) and uses carefully selected apples from around Japan, with the variety changing monthly to match the season. On this day, they used Aomori's San Fuji apples, which were crisp and mildly sweet. The thin, crispy candy coating surrounding the apple is a distinctive feature, not overly sweet. The apple candies come in 9 different flavors, including cinnamon, matcha, and black tea. As a Kyoto-exclusive flavor, they offer "Yatsuhashi Matcha," which I'm very curious to try.
