Delicious Bread Found! Visited on 8/30/2023 [Overall Rating] I give it 5 out of 5 points. Taste: ★★★★ Presentation: ★★★★ Cost Performance: ★★★★ Service: ★★★★ Environment: ★★★★ I visited for the first time around 1 pm. Unfortunately, most of the bread had already been sold out, and there were only about 10 types left. This made me even more excited as it must be very delicious and popular. I purchased a Raisin Salt Bread for 220 yen and a Fig Cream Cheese Bread for 320 yen, and had them as a late-night snack. Both were incredibly delicious. I will definitely go buy some in the morning next time. Thank you for the delicious bread.

Delicious hard bread! Bacon cheese, seaweed salt, red bean butter, and keema curry all for around 200 yen each. This is a series of souvenirs for my wife. After visiting Kataguruma-san's ramen shop, I stopped by this nearby store. The store also has seating for dining in. I took the seaweed salt butter bread home and it was incredibly delicious! Why is red bean butter so tasty? I will definitely come back when I'm nearby again. Thank you for the meal!

"Bread House Shinotsuka: Nice to meet you, a bakery with an eat-in corner. The shop is spacious. I visited around 10 o'clock, so the variety of bread was limited. Overall, the atmosphere was not very lively. However, the bread was delicious. The lady at the register seemed to struggle with the machine, but she handled it with care. I would like to try other bread as well. Thank you for the meal."

On a Saturday in August, I decided to step into a freshly baked bread shop next to the popular Takara West Kojonijyo Gojo store where I often visit. I knew there was a bakery there, but I had never felt like stopping by after filling up at Takara, until now. I entered for the first time and decided to buy some bread for tomorrow's breakfast. The shop had a spacious layout with a good selection of pastries, bread rolls, and more. There was also a seating area at the back where you could enjoy your meal. The two bread items I bought were as follows:
- Lemon Croissant for 220 yen (tax included): A croissant with a generous amount of sugar on top and lemon zest cooked in granulated sugar sprinkled on top. It looked very sweet, but surprisingly, it wasn't overpowering, and the refreshing taste of lemon stood out. The custard cream sandwiched inside also added a nice touch, making it a delightful croissant.
- Walnut Raisin & Apple for 220 yen (tax included): A hard bread dough with raisins mixed in and chunks of apple compote on top. The cinnamon flavor was strong, and the apple had a good texture, leaving a delicious taste. The bread was not as tough as expected, with a good bite to it.
I only tried these two items, but they were both very delicious. The prices were reasonable, and if you're looking to try something a bit nicer than the 100 yen freshly baked bread, then the bread at Shinotsuka's shop might be a great choice. I plan to stop by more often after having ramen at Takara. Thank you for the delightful experience.

On a workday, I had a solo lunch at a bakery with seating space. I had an egg sandwich for 250 yen, crunchy nuts for 195 yen, and hot coffee for 150 yen. The seating area was spacious with comfortable sofa seats. It would have been lively if local moms gathered there. The egg sandwich was moist and soft, with plenty of butter spread on it. The eggs were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The crunchy nuts had a crispy texture, and the sugar crystals were soothing. The hot coffee had a refreshing taste, not too strong or too weak, just right. The prices were reasonable, so I would definitely visit again. It would be even better if they had Wi-Fi and power outlets.

■Visit Date: January 21, 2020■Items Received:・Menchi Katsu Burger・W Cheese Bread・Yudane Shokupan■MEMOVisited on January 21, 2020. The shop is located on the east side of Gojo Nishi-Koji. I had been feeling disappointed since the previous shop had closed down, but I was happy to see a bakery open in the same location. It took me a while to visit due to my schedule, but I finally made it. The shop also has seating for dining in. Their moist and soft bread is a standout feature. This time, I purchased the Menchi Katsu Burger, W Cheese Bread, and Yudane Shokupan. The Menchi Katsu Burger with moist and soft buns paired perfectly with the Menchi Katsu, making it incredibly delicious. The W Cheese Bread allows you to enjoy the combination of cheese on top of the dough and cheese inside. The soft texture of the bread complements the cheese well, creating a delightful match of flavors and textures. I was completely satisfied with the delicious bread. The Shokupan had a nice aroma from its soft dough. It was a tasty bread. I toasted it this time, but I would like to try it untoasted next time. I am curious about their other bread offerings as well.■Bloghttps://ay-style.net/?p=46237

A new bakery has opened with a parking lot and a small café inside. On this day, I bought some items to take home: curry bread with Kameoka beef (200 yen), red bean paste bun (180 yen), salt bread (120 yen), red bean bread (150 yen), cream bread made with Miyama milk and Mizuho eggs (200 yen), egg sandwich (250 yen), and chocolate croissant (200 yen). Everything is delicious these days, but this bakery is a safe bet! The prices are also reasonable. Whether you eat in the store or take it home, you can't go wrong.

On December 10, 2018, I visited a bakery called Bagged that uses domestically produced wheat and Kyoto ingredients. Their French toast was delicious, but the matcha coppe bread with Tamba black beans and cream was moist and tasty. I can't eat curry, but my family enjoyed the curry nan, saying it was a bit spicy. I noticed they use Miyama milk in their pastries like cream puffs, so I regret not buying some. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I prefer my bread to have a slightly sweet taste, so the shokupan was a bit lacking for me. However, the sandwiches and anpan were all delicious. The prices are reasonable and offer good value for money.

A bakery opened diagonally across from Super Mandai. Their recommended items include cream puffs made with Miyama milk and Mizuho eggs, Tonba pork cutlet sandwich, Kameoka beef curry bread, Tonba chestnut French bread, and Kotohama salt bread. They use a lot of ingredients sourced from Kyoto and Tonba. During my visit, they didn't have a wide variety, so I bought cream puffs, croissants, and salted roll bread. They were delicious. They also have seating where you can warm up your purchased bread in a toaster. Thank you for the meal.

An buttered bread for 275 yen, and coffee for 194 yen. The bread is a French bread and quite hard. There were other delicious-looking items that I would like to try next time. Note that cash payment only.

I want to eat a sandwich next! The walnut bread was dense and not very fluffy, but I really like the cafe space inside!
