▪️Shop Name: La Maison Juvo Hiroo Branch
▪️Rating: 3.53 on Tabelog (as of June 2023)
I visited this place in Hiroo as I had some time before my sushi reservation. I was able to get in right away around 3:50 PM on a weekday.
✂️┈┈┈┈┈┈Ordered Items┈┈┈┈┈┈
☑️ Matcha Cannele @ 378 yen
☑️ Mango Pudding @ (forgot the price)
☑️ Coffee @ 715 yen
✂️┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
At the entrance, there is a variety of baked goods and souvenirs available. The items in the showcase area next to the register can be eaten in. I originally planned to just have the cannele, but I also chose the pudding since it was there. Each item was served in less than 10 minutes. The cannele had a crispy outer layer and a moist and chewy inside. The sweet and slightly bitter flavor of butter and rum was pleasant, with the elegant touch of matcha on top adding a Japanese accent. The perfect baking resulted in a delicious taste that made me want to eat about 5 at once. The pudding was smooth and creamy, with mango fruit pulp on top. While maintaining a tropical feel, you can enjoy a refreshing and juicy fruit sensation, making it a light and enjoyable dish. The cannele was just so delicious! There was a mysterious sweet called Diplomat, which looks like a cannele but has the texture of a pudding. I will definitely order it next time I go. Thank you for the meal!

I had the branch menu, which included edamame soup, quiche, salad, and ratatouille, for 1320 yen. Considering the location, I think the price was reasonable. The soup, ratatouille, quiche with watercress and onions, and lettuce with honey mustard were all delicious. The atmosphere also added to the overall value. I opted for a canelé, but I regret not choosing the freshly baked financier instead. The canelé was delicious though. I also bought financiers and macarons as souvenirs. The canelé I had at the restaurant was tasty, but I preferred the slightly sweeter financier.

Visited with a friend. Ordered a cake set. You can get a drink set with your favorite cake for 660 yen, so I chose the limited edition peach juice. The cake was Mille-feuille. It was crispy and the cream was rich and delicious. The peach juice had plenty of fruit pulp and was very impressive!

I often visit a patisserie café in Hiroo, where the interior has a calm and peaceful atmosphere with a woody design. They offer around 10 types of cakes that remind you of Paris, as well as chocolate pastries that last for a day, baguettes, croissants, and individually packaged coffee blends. They also have original eco-bags, cups & saucers, and baby goods for sale. It's become a favorite spot for the ladies in Hiroo. This time, I enjoyed a tea time with a summer cake - Melon Shortcake and Earl Grey Iced Tea Cake set. The refreshing melon fruit cake in a glass made me forget about the heat outside. The sponge portion was a bit small, but the Earl Grey aroma in the iced tea was rich and satisfying. I wanted to savor it slowly, but before I knew it, I had finished it. The light whipped cream had a subtle sweetness, making it easy to eat 2-3 pieces. It was a delightful way to enjoy the summer, and I will definitely visit again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

When the store first opened, I thought it was a cake shop on the site of Hiroo Anna Mirrors, but my family has been buying tea sweets from here, so I've ended up having their cakes over a dozen times. The cakes look beautiful, have a decent size, and are sweet enough. The price is around 700 yen per cake, which is an average price range around here. I've visited the shop a few times to buy gifts, but this time was my first time buying for a snack at home. The quiche and the croissant looked delicious and big on the showcase, so I might try using it as a bakery. I didn't know that their canelé was famous until I accessed this review page, and I also didn't know that they have a licensing agreement with the original French shop and are operated in Japan by Azuki Bar's Imuraya...! I used to visit Anna Mirrors often for family meals, but I haven't used this shop for dining in yet. I'd like to have a leisurely tea time inside the shop when my children grow up.

On our wedding anniversary dinner in Hiroo, we planned to go for a run in the mountains the next day, so we decided to buy some snacks to bring along. We stopped by this shop where I had visited before for work in the area. We bought two types of canelés for replenishment the next day, and for breakfast, we got a Kouign-Amann (370) and a Diplomat (320). The Kouign-Amann and Diplomat were delicious. The buttery taste was great. Buttery pastries from pastry shops are always delicious, right? We bought a plain canelé (350) and a matcha canelé (350). We cut them up and brought them for the ride. Delicious pastries are a must for a tough ride. It gives you a lot of energy. *Prices are excluding tax.

During the French Patisserie Week, you can get a takeout of "L'été de Flassan - Flassan's Summer" which features the classic combination of griotte cherry and pistachio. Inside, there is a cherry sauce and a cream made with tayberry, creating a simple yet delicious composition.

The canelés were delicious and had a great texture, crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. However, they lacked a bit of flavor. The diplomat cake was also very good, with a creamy texture and the fruit topping added a nice touch.

I visited La Maison Juvee Hiroo store, a 1-minute walk from Hiroo Station. I arrived on a Sunday after 12 o'clock and there was no wait. I was able to pay smoothly. I bought a canelé for 378 yen. The canelé has an excellent vanilla scent! The surface has a crispy texture, but the inside has a chewy and moist texture, which is delicious. I enjoyed it until the last bite.

It's a delicious Canele shop, but this time for lunch. Unfortunately, the quiche plate was sold out, which I really wanted to try. However, later on, another customer ordered a quiche and enjoyed it. I was planning to have rice instead of bread because it makes me feel heavy, but I decided to stay and relax here. I also chose some chocolates and sweets for souvenirs. The wrapping was simple and cute. In the end, I ended up spending over 5,000 yen including the souvenirs! The staff here are attentive and observant, always ready to assist customers. Thank you for the meal!

A French pastry shop that has taken root on the site of Annamirāzu and has become well established. When you enter, you will feel happy with the sweet smell of baked goods. Just a 1-minute walk from Hiroo Station. Half of the shop is filled with a showcase of baked goods and cakes, while the other half has table seating. There are also a few terrace seats outside, where pets are also allowed. On this day, I decided to have tea inside, and unexpectedly, a chocolate tart came with my café au lait. Lucky me! The rich chocolate and the bitterness of the café au lait paired well together. They also sell freshly baked financiers, so be sure to try those too. The canelés are also delicious!

I wanted to use the cafe, but I had already had coffee with lunch before coming here, so I got it to go. The customer service was very pleasant. You can tell they are attentive to their customers. I got a crispy canelé and a strawberry choux cream puff. The canelé was quite substantial and satisfying. It seems like a good place to have lunch as well. Thank you for the meal!

Perfect for a spring gift. Crispy and vibrant fresh Rocailles at La Maison Jouvoo Hiroo. These large-sized Rocailles overturn the ephemeral impression of meringue sweets. The crispy meringue melts in your mouth, transforming into a chewy texture, making it fun to eat over and over until it's gone in no time. The appearance is also elegant, perfect for a souvenir with its limited availability. The canelé was also delicious, so I will try that again another day. Thank you for the meal! ♡

A sweets shop in Hiroo. They offer three types of canelés, which are quite traditional. Many large canelés have a crispy exterior but a soft interior, but the canelés here have a crispy exterior and a chewy interior. The caramel flavor has a slight bitterness to it. The expiration date is only for the same day, so you can't stock up on them, which is a shame. I want to recommend this place to my friends who love canelés!

Visited the popular patisserie "La Maison Juve" in Hiroo. It is the first store in Japan of a long-established patisserie from France, with favorite stores in Nagoya and Kyoto. I chose the seasonal limited edition "Foret Noire" (¥780), which I had never tried in Nagoya or Kyoto. It seems to be a classic cake in France. It consists of white chocolate mousse, chocolate cream, and cherry compote. The combination of the smoothness of white chocolate, the refreshing acidity of cherry, and a hint of the fragrance of liqueur is well-balanced and delightful.

Petit Fermiere: A mousse of fromage blanc with a jelly of strawberries. Inside is a refreshing fromage blanc. In the center is jelly. The bottom is cookie dough. You can clearly taste the acidity of strawberries, as well as their freshness and sweetness.
Caramel Canele: Due to the caramel, this Canele, which is a specialty of our restaurant, lacks a sufficient contrast. The outer layer is not crispy, and the inside is not gooey, resulting in a slightly chewy and elastic texture overall.

I often come to this area, which is about a 3-minute walk from Hiroo Station towards Nishi-Azabu, because there are many restaurants and bars. I visited without knowing that there was a sweets shop and to get the famous canelé. The shop has a spacious interior for this area, with a variety of baked goods lined up inside. There is also an eat-in space where you can enjoy the sweets right away, which is nice. Since it's Christmas time, the shop's window displays a tree calendar counting down the days of December, with one day being crossed off each day. I love this cute display. There were so many tempting items that I had a hard time deciding, but since it was my first visit, I first conquered the canelé I was looking for. The lineup changes with the seasons, so I'll have to come back for different seasonal treats.
- Canelé 378 yen (tax included): A canelé with a crispy exterior and a soft, gooey interior made with luxurious Madagascar vanilla by Juvo. The right balance of firmness and gooeyness makes it delicious. The scent of alcohol is subtly present.
- Canelé Caramel 378 yen (tax included): Limited edition caramel flavor with a perfect blend of bitterness and nuttiness. This one has a slightly crispier texture, with a sweet caramel scent and a nutty, mature flavor.
- Diplomat ◎ 346 yen (tax included): A canelé-like flavor with plenty of rum raisins and a moist texture. This one has a rich rum flavor that I really liked. As described, it is packed with rum raisins and has a soft texture. The rum flavor is strong and the raisins are plentiful. The dough is quite soft, with a hint of alcohol, giving it a savarin-like impression. It's gooey and recommended for rum lovers!

After having lunch nearby, I got some canelés, macarons, and quiche to go. It was just before 3 pm on a weekday, and the indoor seating area was bustling. Canelé: The canelé I was looking for had a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which I really liked. Quiche: It was generously portioned. Macaron: If I have a chance to stop by again, I would like to try their millefeuille or cakes as well.

I received a souvenir from a friend! I don't know the price, but I'll keep it brief. I've been curious about this before, so I'm happy to try it! I've only had a little bit so far, but it's delicious! Personally, I might prefer the simple cookies. If I have the chance, I'd like to try other products as well.

I happened to be walking down the street when I saw an article about "Canelés" posted on a shop window, so I decided to go inside. I have loved Canelés since I was a child and can't resist them. Recently, there seems to be a Canelé boom among high school girls, and I was happy to see them being sold at convenience stores, but I was curious about the authentic Canelés made by a French chef! I chose one from the display of Canelés piled up like a mountain, and also purchased a Financier. Excited, I went home and warmed them up in the microwave. The Canelé with plenty of vanilla flavor was delicious. The edges were crispy and the inside was soft and fluffy, making me very satisfied. The Financier was also very delicious. Next time, I want to try eating them fresh in the shop.

A long-established patisserie from Provence, France, with a branch in Tokyo at Toranomon Hills Residence Tower 2F. The sweets here are delicious and cute, making them a perfect gift. I love the atmosphere of the store too. I bought freshly baked financiers and canelés to enjoy at home with coffee. The financiers were moist, and the canelés had a crispy exterior with a hint of rum, perfect for adults.
