It's Kyoto. Located in Nijo, on the west side of Nijo Ohashi Bridge, right near the Takase River, this hotel was where I stayed for a business trip to Kyoto. It's been a while since I visited Kyoto, so I made a reservation here. It's conveniently located near the Keihan Shichijo Station and not too far from Kyoto Station. The building seemed new and the rooms were spacious and clean, so no issues there. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. I heard that the shirasu-don (whitebait rice bowl) for breakfast was a must-try, so I was looking forward to it, but it turned out to be just okay. I was hoping for more variety in the breakfast menu. I'm not sure about the connection between Kyoto and shirasu, but I ended up having a bowl of shirasu-don, some yogurt, and dessert, and that was it for breakfast. The room was nice, but I might skip breakfast next time. It was a bit underwhelming.
