ROUTE 20 SANDWICH + TP Avocado Creamy Scrambled Eggs with Beef Patty Avocado, which is perfectly ripe, matches well with the creamy scrambled eggs and tender beef patty. It has a delicious taste that has placed in the top three of hamburgers. I enjoyed it on the terrace seat while feeling the night breeze. They also customized the order by removing mayonnaise, mustard, and pickles, which made me very satisfied!

Arrived at Shinjuku Bus Terminal early in the morning on the Shinjuku Morning Overnight Bus. It might be a good choice for a stylish breakfast in Tokyo. However, it was crowded and not cheap. There were terrace seats in front of the restaurant, but it was humid and it looked like it might rain, so I managed to find an available seat inside. The inside of the restaurant was cool with air conditioning. I ordered a cheeseburger and orange juice. The orange juice had pulp in it!! It's been a while since I had that!! The buns seemed to have absorbed a bit of oil, but it wasn't greasy. The hamburger patty was the type that crumbles easily, which I like. The meat itself was simply seasoned. The caramelized onions were sweet. It's a good choice for when you want to treat yourself a little. Be careful, as there are separate registers for ordering hamburgers (on the left) and ordering bread for takeout (on the right) inside the restaurant.

The FAIRFAX SANDWICH from Eggslut is a unique burger that doesn't contain meat patty. It consists of eggs, onions, and cheese sandwiched between buns. The fluffy scrambled eggs make it satisfying even without meat.

Located in Shinjuku Southern Terrace, I was thrilled to find eggslut, as I had been obsessed with this type of sandwich in Korea. The option to dine in on the terrace, ground floor, or second floor is great, but during summer, the second floor is definitely the coolest spot.
Menu options include:
- FAIRFAX SANDWICH with hash browns, drink, mix cold brew coffee, and salad set
- ROUTE 20 SANDWICH with hash browns, drink, mix cold brew coffee, and salad set
- CHORIZO EGG SUPREME with hash browns, drink, mix cold brew coffee, and salad set
The classic Fairfax Sandwich features creamy scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese wrapped in a fluffy, slightly sweet bread, creating a perfect harmony. Made with high-quality free-range eggs and fermented butter from France, this Los Angeles-born egg sandwich offers a different experience compared to the ones in Korea.
For those who enjoy a hearty meat option, the Japan-exclusive Route 20 Sandwich with American beef patty is a great choice. And for those who like it spicy, the Chorizo Egg Supreme with salsa sauce seems like a winner.
Credit card payments are accepted at the restaurant.

Shinjuku Southern Terrace has been getting more good restaurants lately! I often eat around this area, but I always felt like Eggs 'n Things was too crowded and not easy to enter alone haha. I've gotten takeout from there before, but this time I finally tried eating in! It's a prominent store right at the entrance of Koshu Kaido in Southern Terrace, so you won't miss it. The interior is unique, with a bakery next door and another store above, so it's quite an interesting setup. You can use the outdoor terrace seating in front of the store, but with this heat, it feels like suicide haha. There are quite a few foreigners here, maybe because of the bus terminal nearby? Anyway, I was lucky to get a window seat and enjoyed my meal inside the store! It was a Japan-exclusive menu item with avocado on top. The combination of meat and egg was really delicious when freshly made! I feel like I want to eat this kind of food more often, so I understand why this place is so popular. I might come back again soon!

I visited the "eggslut Shinjuku Southern Terrace store" located on the 1st floor of Shinjuku Southern Terrace, directly connected to JR Shinjuku Station South Exit/New South Exit, for the first time in early August. Upon entering the store, I noticed that there were a total of 24 seats, but due to the layout of the cash register and the adjacent bakery, the interior felt surprisingly narrow despite the initial impression from the outside. Since the store was almost full of foreign customers on that day, I decided to order for takeout. I checked the menu at the cash register and chose the "EGG SALAD SANDWICH" (834 yen) for my order. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the buzzer rang, and I received my sandwich. As I stepped outside, I felt the humid heat right after a downpour. Worried that the sandwich might not last until I got home, I decided to eat it on the terrace despite the muggy weather. The buns of the "EGG SALAD SANDWICH" were visibly soft brioche buns, filled with honey mustard egg salad and wild arugula. I immediately took a bite and found the egg salad to be plentiful and delicious, with a rich and satisfying taste. The freshness of the sandwich also added to its appeal, and I was glad I chose to eat it right away on the terrace. I finished it in no time, enjoying the delicious egg salad sandwich. Thank you for the meal.

A hamburger restaurant located just a short walk from the south exit of Shinjuku Station. It's so close to the station that you can easily find it without getting lost. I ordered a cheeseburger with hash browns. I decided to add a soft drink for an additional 400 yen, so I also got an orange juice. The orange juice was more like a smoothie type, made by blending oranges. It felt quite fancy, but I was a bit disappointed that it was served at room temperature, especially on such a hot day. I would have preferred a cold drink in this scorching heat. The burgers are made from scratch after you order, so there is quite a wait time until they are ready. It took about 15 minutes from ordering to arrival. The burger sauce was quite rich and flavorful, making the burger very delicious. However, the seasoning was quite strong, so it might be a bit overwhelming to eat without a drink. The meat and the bun of the burger were both delicious! The burger itself was of very high quality. The burger is wrapped in paper, but be careful as the fillings, sauce, and egg can easily spill out while you eat, potentially staining your clothes. I also tried the banana pudding for 600 yen as a side dish, and it was also very delicious. Overall, the side dishes were of high quality and tasted better than expected. Adding a dessert brought the total to around 2700 yen, which may be a bit pricey for a burger meal, but the taste was so good that I would definitely want to come back to this restaurant!

Eggslut Shinjuku Southern Terrace Store / Tokyo Shinjuku Tabelog 3.53 ✔︎ Mexican Sandwich 1,573 yen An ultimate egg sandwich created for egg lovers by egg lovers, the No. 1 egg dish specialty store in Los Angeles. The new Mexican Sandwich introduced this summer features fluffy buns with cilantro, corn, onion, bell pepper, avocado, and salsa sauce. The spicy meat that arouses your appetite is generously packed along with a half-cooked sunny-side-up egg. The egg yolk is very rich and sweet. The combination of meat, salsa sauce, and egg is incredibly delicious. You can also add Cholula sauce to your liking ❤️ Unlike Tabasco, the sauce has a sweet and spicy flavor with just the right amount of heat. It comes with lime, which is very refreshing and goes well with the dish. There is currently a campaign where 100 people have the chance to win this Cholula sauce, so be sure to participate. Thank you for the meal.

Egg sandwich shop. The buns are like brioche, so they are satisfying to eat. You can also change to a salad option without buns. Despite being before 12 o'clock, it was crowded, probably due to its location near Shinjuku Station and the bus terminal, attracting many foreign tourists. You can enjoy a non-Japanese atmosphere here.

I stopped by after work to try the ultimate egg sandwich based on recipes inherited from the No.1 egg dish specialty store in the home country. I sought out the newly released hot and spicy summer limited edition Mexican sandwich. It is made with salsa sauce using seasonal vegetables such as paprika, avocado, and corn, combined with cherry tomato meat. It also has cilantro on top, making it perfect for summer. The free-range fried egg is placed right in the middle, balancing out the sandwich. It is generously filled, perfect for biting into as is or cutting with a knife. It comes with Cholula hot sauce, allowing you to adjust the spiciness to your liking. Even those who don't like spicy food will enjoy this Cholula hot sauce, as it is sweet and savory.

I chose the classic Fairfax Sandwich, which doesn't have any meat but is delicious with brioche buns, plenty of eggs, and spicy mayo sauce that is oily and indulgent. The seating inside the restaurant is mainly at counters and feels cramped, so it's best to eat quickly and leave.

I tried a hamburger from a Los Angeles-based egg dish specialty store at Shinjuku Southern Terrace. The packaging is stylish. Route 20 Sandwich Mixed Salad Plain Croffin Cold Brew Coffee The hamburger had a soft-boiled egg, creamy scrambled egg, coarse ground beef patty, cheddar cheese, pickles, caramelized onions, all sandwiched between fluffy brioche buns. It was a luxurious combination of flavors. I love eggs, so the creamy egg was the best part. The Croffin had a texture like a mix of croissant and muffin. I chose plain, but it was filled with plenty of creamy custard.

The egg is half-cooked and gooey, with plenty of cheese that stretches. It's difficult to eat but delicious. The patty is not very meaty, but with lots of scrambled eggs, half-cooked egg, and cheese, it's satisfying to eat. You have to focus on eating it or it will spill (the boss ended up with yolk all over). The buns are fluffy. They are more similar to brioche than to hamburger buns. The salad is served in the same wrapping paper as the hamburger. It looks stylish and appealing.

More like a sandwich than a hamburger with eggs? Healthy and satisfying. Delicious even without meat! Although it's not cheap, I still crave for some meat haha. #eggslut #fairfaxsandwich #ShinjukuSouthernTerrace #ShinjukuGourmet

I was on a business trip in Tokyo and had some time in Shinjuku. I spotted this place and decided to try it since I love eggs. I ordered the classic Fairfax sandwich and waited for a bit. There weren't many customers, but the order bell took a while to ring. I finished my Budweiser. Finally, the sandwich arrived. The bread was fluffy and the eggs were tasty, but the temperature was a bit off. It felt like they had just made it, but it was lukewarm. Oh well, at least I got to try it once.

Eggslut, a restaurant specializing in egg dishes born in Los Angeles, opened in Shinjuku Southern Terrace in September 2019. Along with Eggslut, there are two other shops: Luke's Lobster, specializing in lobster rolls, and Boul'ange, a bakery. Eggslut is a place created by egg lovers for egg lovers. Their recommended dish is the "Fairfax Sandwich" for 880 yen, which is a thick egg sandwich made with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, all sandwiched between brioche buns. Enjoy!

Los Angeles-based! The specialty egg dish restaurant's signature menu item "Fairfax Sandwich" is a classic egg sandwich with soft scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and caramelized onions sandwiched between brioche buns. The scrambled eggs are creamy and rich, with a refreshing aftertaste. The giant egg sandwich is so delicious that it feels like your jaw might dislocate. It was really tasty.

I went to a waffle shop but it was crowded, so I changed to this shop. I entered at 10 am on Sunday. It took about 10 minutes to order after waiting in line, and about 15 minutes from ordering to receiving the food. The shop is small, the service is slow, the cost performance is not good, and the food is greasy. The person I was with doesn't like greasy food and felt sick. It's better than McDonald's, but I probably won't buy it again. People who like junk food may enjoy it, though.

A hamburger shop in Los Angeles specializing in egg dishes. The Route 20 Sand for 1,400 yen is a luxurious combination of soft-boiled egg, creamy scrambled egg, beef patty, and cheddar cheese. The brioche bun is soft and fragrant, soaking up the egg and beef flavors perfectly. My companion had the Fairfax Sand for 990 yen. I took a bite and enjoyed the creamy scrambled egg, melted cheddar cheese, and caramelized onion sauté. Located in Shinjuku Southern Terrace, it gets very crowded during meal times. We went on a Saturday at 12 pm and even for takeout, we had to wait for nearly 15 minutes. It's best to go with some extra time. Dining outside in the sun is also a pleasant experience. #TokyoGourmet #TokyoHamburger #ShibuyaGourmet #ShinjukuGourmet #ShinjukuHamburger #ShinjukuLunch #ShinjukuSouthernTerrace #slut #eggslut #Foodies #HamburgerLovers #TokyoHamburger #ShinjukuLunch #ShinjukuHamburger

I went out for breakfast. There were many foreigners and I was happy to experience international flavors. The interior of the restaurant was stylish, but I ate on the terrace. The eggs were fluffy and the pancakes were fluffy too. It was a generous portion, but I finished it all. I want to try something unique to Japan next time. The prices are a bit high though. Oh well, eggs are expensive so it can't be helped.
