I visited Kurozakura! I heard a rumor that Kurozakura, a popular A5 rank black wagyu beef specialty store in Uji, opened a second store in Kyoto's Kiyamachi, so I went with my friends! The restaurant has been receiving rave reviews on the popular review site, Retty. The location is perfect for me, living along the Hankyu line, just a 1-minute walk from Hankyu Kawaramachi. It's located along Kiyamachi Street, so it was easy to find. We were seated at a table on the first floor. There is also a second floor with private rooms. They even have couple seats. Now, time to order! Of course, the first drink had to be draft beer! You can choose from a variety of drinks, from beer to whiskey, sake, fruit liquor, and premium shochu. For food, we started with seared sushi, wagyu yukhoe, and wagyu sashimi. Oh, so delicious. It just melts in your mouth. Next, we enjoyed grilled dishes like thick-cut tongue, classic loin, premium kalbi, and misuji. You can choose from sauce or salt seasoning. The taste is spot on. Truly the best A5 rank black wagyu beef! There's no disappointment with any of the rare cuts or offal! We even enjoyed bibimbap and dessert, creme brulee. What surprised me even more was that there was no smell of grilled meat when I got home! The smokeless roaster is the best!! The service was also polite, and the manager's response and smile were great!! I could hear from the next room, "This amount for this price is a great deal." Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back often! Kurozakura in Kyoto is highly recommended!

I went to a company banquet! The thoughtfulness of the restaurant manager and the quick response of the staff were pleasant. The meat was A5 rank and served carefully. We ordered a course, and it was so filling that it was an amazing time! The 9,900 yen anniversary meat cake set was incredibly cost-effective ⭕️ I will definitely go back personally!

I initially ordered the tongue when I visited the restaurant on July 15, 2019. The tongue paired perfectly with rice and was very satisfying. I also ordered the yukhoe, which was slightly roasted but delicious. The most delicious dish was the wagyu harami, which was refreshing and had minimal harami-specific taste. The service was excellent, better than other popular yakiniku restaurants, and it made the experience enjoyable. The total cost for two people was 13,000 yen, but considering it was black wagyu beef, the quality of the meat was worth it. I plan to visit again.

I am the type of person who can be misleading because I give off a mysterious vibe, it's Saritan here (*μ_μ*) lol. I had a fun lunch in Kyoto and then went sightseeing at night. After looking at the photos sent by my Myレビ friends, I walked all the way to Pontocho. Still feeling hungry, and ready to drink more! So, we ended up at this yakiniku place where you can have all-you-can-drink. We didn't eat anything typical of Kyoto. The restaurant was clean and had good partitions, so we could eat comfortably. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! The yakiniku was cheap and delicious. We could eat even if we weren't hungry! We mainly went in to drink, so we just kept drinking, but it was fun. After that, we went back to the hotel and as soon as I lay down, I fell asleep. No one woke me up. That was my night in Kyoto.

The food came out quickly and the meat was delicious. However, it was disappointing that even though I ordered children's dishes, they never arrived despite asking again.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. It was easy to order on my phone. There were many foreigners, so I felt like the restaurant is also listed on those kinds of websites. I may have had too high expectations based on the reviews on Tabelog. Also, the main meat dish I wanted was sold out. The meat was not bad, and the service was not bad either, but it felt like it was lacking a bit for the price. Maybe it's because it's in Kiyamachi and the location adds to the cost?
