I used the course that includes all-you-can-drink for 7500 yen. It was a course that came with a platter of tongue, loin, kalbi, harami, and hormone, as well as salad. It's a luxurious course where you can enjoy Matsusaka beef. Personally, I prefer restaurants like Iwasan that offer better cost performance than high-end yakiniku restaurants! I would definitely go back!

I went there after a long time, and it was delicious as always! There are surprisingly many yakiniku restaurants in Kyoto, but there are few places where you can always get delicious meat. I think Iwa-san is the best in the Kiyamachi/Kawaramachi area. It may cost over 8000 yen, but considering it's Matsusaka beef, it's actually quite reasonable. Oh, meat is so delicious, isn't it?

Roast beef that has been instantly frozen and shaved is topped with shaved ice made from dashi broth, then drizzled with a choice of homemade yukke syrup (rich sauce) or homemade beef bone syrup (light sauce) to eat. Personally, I preferred the light sauce.

A beloved yakiniku restaurant that has been around for over 8 years has started serving lunch! And their lunch menu is amazing! It's called "Roast Beef Kakigori Don"! The meat used is "Uchihira", a favorite cut. It's aged at -25 degrees, shaved thinly, and served with a katsuobushi-based kakigori broth. The broth is clear and delicious, soaking into the rice making it tasty. The meat is cool and juicy, not greasy. There are two types of sauces, a rich one and a light one. I chose the homemade yukke syrup (rich sauce) and it was sweet and savory, perfect with the light meat. The portion size was large but manageable. The meat was not heavy, which was great. The price was 1500 yen but they had a special discount of 200 yen for the lunch launch.

The restaurant is located down an alley from Kawaramachi Street, heading towards Kiyamachi Street. There is a yakiniku restaurant nearby, so be careful not to mistake the two. The interior of the restaurant felt like it was renovated from a bar, but the meat cooked on the charcoal grill was delicious!

"I haven't been to a place before, so let's go and check it out~" I went with a beautiful girl who had some free time after a long time, around 7:30 pm on a weekday. There were two groups of customers already, but the table seats were set up with chopsticks and everything, so maybe they had reservations? We were seated at the counter. The counter had enough depth and wasn't too cramped. We ordered a kimchi assortment with cabbage, cucumber, and radish. It looked spicy and rich, but it wasn't too overpowering. Both my friend and I didn't really like the taste. The tongue salt was different from what I've had before, as it was completely thawed (raw?) and slightly thickly sliced. It had a good texture but was tender. The harami and kalbi were served marinated and were tender. The upper intestine and mino were served with miso sauce. There was also salt available. We also had three drinks. The meat here seems to be Matsusaka beef. I'm not too particular about it though. There was only salt and an original blend of salt on the table. They provided a dipping sauce (rinsing sauce) for non-salted meat. However, that was the only way to change the flavor. It would have been nice to have pepper, shichimi, wasabi, or something else for flavor variation. Going with girls (at least the ones around me) makes it cheaper."

Last night, four friends returned from golf and went out to eat yakiniku. Oh, it was delicious. When you eat thickly sliced tongue, you can't go back to thin slices. We enjoyed various meats and kimchi stew, so I'm scared to step on the scale now.

It was a quiet day (Wednesday), so it wasn't crowded. We made a reservation. The beef tongue was really delicious. However, the cost performance was just average. It was around 22,000 yen for three people. We had one beer, four iced teas, beef tongue, four types of meat for two people, Namul & Kimchi, and medium white rice.

We used this restaurant for a company banquet. We had a course with all-you-can-drink for 6000 yen, and we enjoyed delicious meat grilled over charcoal, including Matsusaka beef and other wagyu varieties. The three types of tongue were excellent. The amount of meat was satisfying, and we also had delicious white rice for all-you-can-eat. When grilling the hormone, the ventilation couldn't keep up and the surroundings became filled with smoke, so it's better to wear casual clothes when going there.

You can enjoy various types of beef tongue here, so it's a must-visit for tongue lovers. The restaurant has a mature atmosphere, and although I was a bit worried about bringing my family at first, it was not a problem at all. I will definitely go back!
