As usual, I managed to get my hands on it on a certain day. I breathe a sigh of relief for avoiding zero. When it comes to Alain Ducasse, he is a renowned chef who became the youngest to earn three Michelin stars. His self-named chocolate brand is also making its way into Japan. ASSORTMENT OF BONBONS 9PIECES, 9FLAVORS - Degustation assortment of 9 types. Degustation means "discovery" in French. From beloved classics to delicious new finds, this assortment brings together flavors from various regions with delightful aromas. The minimal packaging opens up to a sensual display of chocolates. Despite being mostly brown, why does it look so vibrant and beautiful? First, the Ganache Origin from three types: Madagascar - Made with cocoa beans from Madagascar, it has a mild berry acidity and restrained sweetness, offering a complex and flavorful balance. Peru - Made with cocoa beans from Peru, it boasts a bitter and rich fruit aroma, delivering a dense and delicious taste. Java - Made with cocoa beans from Java, it is described as smoky but leans more towards a spicy profile. Next is the Ganache Gourmand: Lime - A striking citrus scent and a lively spicy kick lead to an elegant aftertaste, showcasing a delightful mouthfeel. Caramel - Surprisingly, the milky flavor is subdued, emphasizing a burnt caramel bitterness that pairs well with the chocolate's bitterness, creating a deep and rich flavor. Coffee - A rich and bitter coffee taste that is simply delightful. Finally, the Praline a l'Ancienne: Coconut - Noteworthy for its crunchy texture from coconut, complemented by the deep flavor of chocolate, reminiscent of high-quality baked goods. Pistachio - Another crunchy treat, the combination of pistachio and chocolate is a sure winner, although a bit more unexpected surprise would have been nice. Hazelnut Crush - Compared to the previous two, this one has a lighter and crispier texture, allowing the savory aroma of hazelnuts to shine through. The overall experience reaffirms that chocolate equals capitalism. The higher the price, the more layers of flavor you can enjoy, as is the norm. So, I look forward to getting even more expensive chocolates next year, with hopes of experiencing more surprises.期待。

#Today's sweet treat, Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse's Coupe Glace Praline Cafe. I stumbled upon this chocolate shop by chance, known for being the workshop of a famous French chef. It was a little past 11:30 on a Sunday, and I was able to easily get a table at the cafe. They mentioned that reservations were fully booked from 1 pm onwards. The first floor had tablets and bonbons for sale, while the second floor housed the cafe. Both had quite high prices. I ordered the Coupe Glace Praline Cafe, which consisted of whipped cream, praline, and coffee granita, with a chocolate plate on top that melted when hot chocolate was poured over it. The praline had a slightly salty taste, and the chocolate was on the refreshing side with a strong milk flavor. The coffee granita added a cool touch. It wasn't overly sweet and had a sophisticated taste. However, I found that the chocolate from my regular shop was much tastier. The cocoa aroma was lacking here. The Coupe cost 2000 yen, and the coffee was 1000 yen, perhaps due to the branding. I paid at the cafe on the second floor. The tablets ranged from 1800 to 3000 yen. When I asked for recommendations with vibrant acidity, I tried samples of Peru and Madagascar. While they had acidity, the aroma was still weak. I bought Madagascar to take home, but it didn't quite suit my taste. I don't think I'll be a repeat customer. #SweetTooth #Dessert #Sweets #SweetTreat #TokyoGourmet #TokyoSweets #NihonbashiSweets #MitsukoshimaeSweets #NihonbashiCafe #MitsukoshimaeCafe #Cafe #CafeHopping #TokyoCafe #Parfait #ParfaitLover #TokyoParfait #ChocolateLover #Chocolate #DessertPlate #AlainDucasse #LeChocolatAlainDucasse #LeChocolatAlainDucasseTokyoWorkshop

Thursday at 12:30. The salon had four customers. Today, we have the limited edition ★ Coupe Chocolat Pamplemousse that appeared at the Tokyo workshop from the day before yesterday, 9/12. It seems to be grapefruit in French (〃ω〃). Last year, there was a similar-looking Bunti Glace Sorbet Exotic (the color of the nut powder on top was slightly different) but this time, when you take a bite, the grapefruit flavor spreads out and it's amazing. Even before you can see the inside, the good smell of grapefruit comes gently with its appearance. Inside, there is a mix of chocolate, chocolate ice cream, hazelnuts, and coconuts that are crunchy and moist. The grapefruit blends in beautifully, and the lemon flavor also comes out, making it even more refreshing. The sweetness, sourness, and coldness are pleasant, making it a refreshing and delicious dish. I had it with hot coffee (total cost with drink: 2,750 yen).

Mousse au Chocolat is a classic favorite. It's the epitome of chocolate desserts. In between seasonal and limited-time offerings, we enjoy the classic menu items. The combination of the rich mousse on the bottom and the original swirl on top is absolutely delicious. I paired it with a refreshing iced Earl Grey tea. Soon, it will be time for the seasonal Dante Chocolate Yuzu and Chocolate Mango Tart to make way for new menu items. Looking forward to it. The Le Gouter (afternoon tea set) will also switch to its autumn version. I'll definitely be back to try them out.

A shop that chocolate lovers will adore. The chocolate drink with chocolate ice and yuzu, along with the chocolate mousse, was irresistible. The tea served to reset the palate was also delicious. I enjoyed the seasonal chocolates and the craftsmanship of each piece. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The interior of the shop had seats overlooking the chocolate workshop, creating a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The tart chocolate I ordered had a rich flavor, not too sweet, and was very elegant and delicious. I would love to visit again.

While enjoying the view of the chocolate workshop, we had chocolate sweets and had a great time. We had an afternoon tea and each menu item was explained in detail, which was nice. I would love to go back again!

When I took a bite of the millefeuille chocolat, I couldn't quite describe it but it felt like a sophisticated taste. It was disappointing when the waitress left without a word in the middle of my order to attend to another customer. I don't plan on revisiting. Thank you for the meal.

I finally came to enjoy Le Gout at this time of year. It has a summer scent unlike the Le Gout in early May. The flavors of pistachio and mango are full of seasonal taste, and sudachi has turned into yuzu, while creme brulee has changed into glace. I think all of them have the excellent deliciousness of Alain Ducasse. The compact Dantelle Chocolat Yuzu is very cute. Afternoon tea is enjoyable. Today, I chose hot coffee for the first time in a while.

It's been a while, but I came to enjoy the classic Coupe Glacée, which has changed its taste a bit. Since the end of May, Coupe Glacée has become Praliné Café, where hot chocolate is poured onto the plate (lol). The crunchy texture of praline and the harmony of Alain Ducasse's chocolate make the taste enjoyable and exciting. I always feel a bit sad as it disappears quickly, but I finish it in no time. I feel like I want more, but I think this size is just right. Today, I had it with hot Earl Grey tea. Looking forward to the limited edition products from summer to autumn, I will visit again soon to enjoy the summer Le Gouter.

French Patisserie Week. Since CHANEL's café was not an option, I decided to eat here instead. The interior is simple, resembling a café. The éclair has a strong chocolate appearance. The filling inside seems to be a mix of chocolate and berry flavors. The pastry is surprisingly light and easy to eat. The chocolate is crispy and not bad. The mille-feuille was extremely bitter. The pastry is flaky and light, but it was a bit of a challenge due to the bitterness. The chocolate glass served as a complimentary treat was delicious. It has a sherbet-like texture with a nice crunch. It's difficult to give a clear evaluation. This place seems to have a mix of hits and misses.

I went to the French patisserie week to try the eclairs! The Eclair Noir at the Tokyo workshop with passion sauce and a slightly bitter chocolate (the flavor was amazing) was incredibly delicious. The tea was also fantastic, maybe an original from Kusmi Tea? Te Blanc de Cus? It had a really nice aroma!

"Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse" opened its first chocolate workshop outside of France in Tokyo, Nihonbashi in 2018. In 2023, they celebrated their 5th anniversary in Japan. It is a 2-3 minute walk from Mitsukoshimae Station. I stopped by while shopping at Mitsukoshi. There were some customers in the salon, but the shop was quiet and I was able to shop leisurely. [Items purchased] ☆ Ganache Gourmand Assortment 8 pieces 3700 yen ☆ Fruits Confits 130g Trio d'Agrumes 3450 yen x2 ☆ Cake Orange Confit 3000 yen First, I got the chocolate assortment of 8 pieces. It includes all 7 types of Ganache Gourmand. Raspberry, Caramel, Lime, Tonka Bean, Coffee, Prune & Armagnac, Vanilla. The aroma and smoothness are truly top-notch! They are all delicious. I always end up buying fruit chocolates. It's a mix of three types of Fruits Confits (candied fruits): Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit. The crispy coating of chocolate and the chewiness of the fruits are rich. They go well with alcohol. This is a pound cake coated in chocolate with orange flavor. I bought it because it was the first time I saw it, but this was my favorite this time! The refreshing scent of orange and the bitter chocolate blend together very deliciously! It looks very sweet, but when you taste it, it's subtly sweet with an elegant flavor. Highly recommended. Thank you for the meal.

Eclair Chocolat Noir Passion. A limited edition eclair available for only one month. I arrived around lunchtime today, wondering if I could get one. I waited for about 20 minutes and was finally seated. I placed my order right away. When it arrived, my first thought was, "It's huge!" It was bigger than I expected, so I couldn't help but exclaim. The chocolate on top was exquisite, just like Alain Ducasse's. It was delicious. As I cracked it open, the passion fruit, nuts, and chocolate mixed together, creating a unique flavor with each bite. It was incredibly tasty. It also came with my favorite ice cream, and together with a coffee, the total was 2,500 yen, which I found to be quite reasonable.

It's been a year since the Tart Chocolat Mang made an appearance. Last year, it was the Tart Croquant Chocolat Mang, so I'm not sure if the crispy texture is different. Sorry, I don't quite remember. The appearance looks the same though. And the taste is still delicious! The mango is really cold and makes you feel happy in your mouth. The chocolate flavor mixes so well with it, it's so satisfying. I finished it in no time (I tend to eat quickly). I think last year it didn't come with ice cream (I'm not sure, but I don't remember ice cream in last year's photo). I love this chocolate ice cream, so when I had it with the tart, it gave me a brain freeze. Today I had it with iced tea.

It has been a month since my last visit to Patisserie Aoki in Tokyo. Today, I tried the Dante, Chocolat, and Yuzu pastries. While the Chocolat was as delicious as always, the Yuzu added a wonderful touch with its acidity. The harmony between the chocolate and yuzu flavors was truly amazing. I always enjoy the unique chocolates here. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also had Sablé, Financier, and other treats available.

176th! The store I was curious about ~ LE CHOCOLAT ALAIN DUCASSE ~ [Ordered items] ・ Coupe Glace Praline Cafe 2,090 yen ・ Dantel Chocolat Yuzu 1,980 yen Drink Chocolat Glace 1,100 yen Drink Earl Grey 1,210 yen Total 6,380 yen (tax included) I had been curious about this chocolate shop for a while. When you enter the store, you can smell the delicious scent of chocolate and baked goods. On the first floor, beautifully packaged and delicious chocolates are lined up! This time, I went to the second floor to enjoy the Coupe Glace Praline Cafe. It was a disk-shaped thin chocolate with warm chocolate sauce poured over it, gradually melting. Inside, there were chocolate and coffee ice cream, coffee granite, hazelnuts and coffee bean praline, hazelnuts, and crispy cocoa nibs. A luxurious evolution of chocolate parfait! It was very delicious. The Dantel Chocolat Yuzu, which has been on sale since May 30, looked cute and had yuzu confit inside, creating a perfect harmony of sweet and sour with rich chocolate. This was also delicious. In addition to chocolates, the boutique also sells baked goods, ice cream, soft serve, and more. It's a bit pricey, but it's a perfect shop for chocolate lovers! Definitely worth a visit. ☆Recommended Points☆ ① An afternoon tea for chocolate lovers packed with the charm of "Alain Ducasse" ② Enjoy freshly made desserts at the chocolate workshop on site 【Recommended Usage Scenes】 Date, cafe with friends/acquaintances, girls' gathering 【Menu】 "LE GOUTER" (5,500 yen) If you want to experience "Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse" for the first time, this afternoon tea set is highly recommended. The lineup includes: - Chocolate croissant - Choux praline noisette - Tart sudachi praline pistachio - Sable chocolate caramel - Financier chocolate amande - Sable diamant vanille chocolate - Oeuf a la creme brulee chocolate - Coupe fraise chocolate And more, a total of 3 varieties of chocolate. The set also includes a drink. We chose "Le The Blanc Alain Ducasse," a white tea base with rose and raspberry added, from the "KUSUMI Tea" brand. The desserts are made in the on-site workshop. All of them were exquisite, but our top 3 favorites were: - Tart sudachi praline pistachio - Creme brulee chocolate - 3 varieties of chocolate The tart sudachi praline pistachio combines the rich sweetness of praline with the refreshing scent of sudachi vinegar and the saltiness of pistachio. The creme brulee chocolate is very rich in chocolate flavor with a surprisingly moderate sweetness and a hint of saltiness. The 3 varieties of chocolate are rotated daily, and on this day, they were: - Java chocolate (smoky aroma) - Peru chocolate (fruity like fruit) - Ganache gourmand lime (strong lime flavor) If you find one you like, you can purchase it at the boutique. This afternoon tea is highly recommended for chocolate lovers, but since it mainly consists of sweet items, it would be even better with some savory options. 【Summary】 "Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse" is a chocolate specialty store that boasts worldwide popularity and is highly popular in Japan as well. The shop, which established a chocolate workshop in Paris in 2013, opened a workshop in Tokyo, Nihonbashi in 2018, following the success in Paris. This is the original shop in Japan. Currently, they have a total of 7 stores in Japan. On this holiday, we made a reservation for the SALON as soon as it opened at 11:00. The store was almost full, so reservations are probably necessary. With a variety of products available for sale, it might be difficult to decide what to buy, but starting with this afternoon tea to discover your favorite chocolate is also a good idea.

I have been living in Tokyo for two years now and I visit Tokyo Kobo Salon at least once a month. I especially enjoy their Le Gouter (Afternoon Tea) the most, and I am always impressed every time I go. The staff is very polite and always make me feel comfortable. Alain Ducasse is an amazing chef and chocolatier, and I am always so happy to come to a place like this.

Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse is a chocolate specialty shop run by the French cuisine chef Alain Ducasse. The shop features a chocolate workshop and a café. On a holiday around 1:30 PM, I happened to pass by and noticed that there was one seat available at the café, so I decided to stop by. I ordered the following: - MOUSSE AU CHOCOLAT (1,650 yen) - Earl Gray (iced, 1,210 yen) - Cafe latte glace (1,100 yen) It was my first visit to Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse. The interior of the shop has a retro vibe, resembling a factory from the time of the industrial revolution in Europe. I was browsing the chocolates on the first floor but couldn't decide what to buy, so I opted to have dessert at the café. Next to the staircase leading to the café, there was a chocolate workshop, and a sweet and fragrant chocolate aroma lingered in the air. I tried the chocolate mousse dessert, which was beautifully topped with thinly shaved chocolate petals. Underneath was a rich chocolate mousse that was dense yet light and melted in the mouth. The rich cocoa flavor spread throughout. It was incredibly delicious! The mousse was on the sweeter side, while the chocolate had a bitter taste. I highly recommend this dessert to chocolate lovers.
