I visited the top-class yakiniku restaurant Itamae Yakiniku Issei, located about a 3-minute walk from Keihan Gion Shijo and Hankyu Shijo Kawaramachi. The menu includes special selections like Frank, Chateaubriand, premium salted tongue, roast beef yukke-style, rare white senmai sashimi, wagyu seared nigiri sushi, and special cold noodles. The restaurant is newly opened, with a clean and spacious counter seat where you can watch the beautiful meat being prepared in front of you. The quality of the meat at Itamae Yakiniku Issei is exceptional, with a beautiful marbling and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Frank cut was my favorite, with a perfect balance of meatiness and fat. It's a great spot for a date or dinner when you're in Gion Shijo. Definitely worth a visit for all the delicious meat! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I made a reservation for a course. They didn't mind letting me in a little early. The pace of bringing out the food and the speed of serving drinks were good. I wish there were a few more dessert options. All the meat was tender and delicious.

I made a reservation the day before and was lucky enough to be seated in a private room. I was very happy because I was worried about being noisy with my child. The food was delicious, just like I remembered from visiting the shop in Nishinakajima Minamigata about 10 years ago. The thick-cut meat was my favorite, and the seared meat sushi was perfect. The young lady who served us was very nice and had a lovely smile. She even came out to see us off after we paid. I was completely satisfied with both the food and the service. I would like to visit again for a special occasion.

The meat was delicious but there were too many skewers, so I wanted a palate cleanser in between. There was a variety of meats to enjoy, but it would be helpful if the restaurant provided suggestions on how to eat each dish as there were multiple condiments available such as sauce, wasabi, salt, soy sauce, and lemon.

The interior of the store was very clean and stylish, with Western music playing in the background. This time, I made a reservation for a private room and ordered the following items: - Kimchi assortment - Bean sprouts - Phantom Senmai (tripe dish) - Thick-cut tongue - Kalbi (beef ribs) - Upper harami (skirt steak) - Upper mino (beef stomach) - Morioka cold noodles - 3 alcoholic beverages The total came to about 11,000 yen. Everything was delicious, and despite normally getting indigestion or stomachaches from eating meat, I didn't feel any discomfort this time. The kimchi had a rich flavor unlike any I've had before. Additionally, the women's restroom was stocked with Molton Brown hand soap (unavailable in the men's restroom) and mouthwash. While the restaurant is great for couples, the bright lighting makes it more suitable for a girls' night out. I definitely want to go back again.

Located in Shijo-kiyamachi, there is a yakiniku restaurant called "Yakiniku Issho." I haven't been to this area in Kyoto much, but it's just a 1-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station and has a great atmosphere. The restaurant interior is very beautiful, with several private rooms that are very nice. - Roast beef Yukke-style: ¥1,380 - Wagyu seared sushi: 3 pieces for ¥1,280 - Rare cuts assortment: starting from ¥3,280 (includes Chateaubriand, Marushin, Sagari, Hiuchi) The quality of all the meats is high! They are so delicious! The sushi and roast beef just melt in your mouth. - Meat bouquet: Reservation required in advance! A lovely meat bouquet like this comes out! It's shaped like flower petals, and you get a good amount of meat! It would be so nice to be surprised like this ☺️ - Special Morioka cold noodles: ¥850 This is a must for finishing! I didn't know that Morioka was in Aomori, haha. The stone-grilled bibimbap also looked delicious!

On Thursday at 6:30 PM with a reservation. The access from the station is really good. The town along the river has a Kyoto-like atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is clean with soft wooden accents and concrete floors. There are also private rooms towards the back. The staff were all young but provided excellent and polite service. They offer a variety of rare hormone dishes by buying a whole cow. The meat overall has a perfect balance of fat, easily melting in the mouth. The fat is not overwhelming, so you can eat a good amount without feeling heavy. The rare cuts assortment was amazing. On this day, they had ribs, rump, chuck flap, and Chateaubriand. The chuck flap was the MVP for lean meat. The balance of tasty lean meat and fat was superb. The chicken was also very good, with a lack of dryness in the breast meat. The white corn was a nice touch! And the Daichan (rectum) that I had never tried before was surprisingly delicious. It had a unique aroma that I enjoyed, and the flavor intensified with each bite without being greasy. They had a wide selection of drinks, making it perfect for a date. Although the area around Kiyamachi is bustling, this place and other nearby stylish spots are easy to use for a night out.

They buy a whole cow, so you can eat the highest quality meat such as A-rank and rare cuts at a great price. The assortment of rare cuts costs ¥3,280 and the types vary depending on the day. On this day, we tried Chateaubriand, Hiuchi, Inside, and Marushin - all high-quality meats that were incredibly tender and melted in the mouth. The meat is of excellent quality with a rich flavor. Other dishes we tried were the premium thick-cut beef tongue for ¥1,980, wagyu seared sushi for 3 pieces at ¥1,280 - incredibly shiny and melted in the mouth, the rare white senmai for ¥980 - very white with no odor and a crunchy texture, which paired perfectly with the special miso sauce. We also had Kyoto Akadori for ¥750, special spicy cuppa for ¥1,080, Prule-style pudding for ¥440, a trio of gelato for ¥440, and coffee for ¥440. The dessert and coffee were delicious, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, and offers counter seating, tables, and private rooms suitable for various occasions.
