I left it up to the chef and everything was delicious. The elusive Murasawa beef was silky in texture with a refined flavor. It had a good amount of fat that didn't linger. I would love to visit again if given the chance. The course was thoughtful and the ramen at the end was also delicious. Thank you very much.

I always buy meat at Oonishi. Since it's their own store, I thought it couldn't be bad, so I visited. As expected, it was delicious. I think it's a very good shop. The tongue was delicious, and the Chateaubriand was also good. Also, the Chateaubriand came with truffle salt, which was also good. Overall, it was delicious, so I am very satisfied.

I went to a meat-themed event for the first time and it was amazing! The beef tongue was beautifully sliced and presented, and it was so tender and delicious. The meat sushi was cute with small bite-sized portions, and the meat was incredibly tender and tasty. The water eggplant shabu-shabu was light and delicious. The pork was like a dream with a sweet aroma. The sausage had a German taste and was delicious. The beef cutlet with porcini mushroom sauce was incredibly tasty. The chef's quality was outstanding. The cream croquette was fun and delicious. I got hooked on it. Lastly, I tried the garlic chip-topped rice with grilled meat in sauce, and it was incredibly delicious. The main dish, Hiraigyu Chateaubriand, was amazing when cooked with wasabi. The quality of this yakiniku restaurant is top-notch, with a variety of fun and delicious menu items. I had a great time!

The state of emergency has finally been lifted, so I went out for a fancy meal at Daishinsan near Ginkaku-ji Temple to vent my frustrations. I ordered the luxurious assortment of 4 types x 4 pieces, which was cut into large pieces and priced at 8,900 yen. The dipping sauce was slightly strong with a hint of ginger flavor, which I really liked. The red wine braised Japanese beef had a sophisticated taste and was delicious. The special beef bone ramen had a light and tasty soup, although the noodles were not to my liking. The soft drinks were priced at a flat rate of 800 yen, which I found unreasonable as it was the same price as alcohol. I requested to have only bean sprouts in the mixed Namul dish, but was charged 850 yen for a very small amount, which included chili peppers that made me question if it was really kimchi. I hope they reconsider the pricing of soft drinks!

I went to buy a return gift for my mother at Fujisaki and decided to check out the Kyoto exhibition as well. My mother said she didn't need to cook dinner today, so I bought a bento box to take home. The sukiyaki bento box cost 1080 yen. The sukiyaki and steak bento box cost 1836 yen, which was quite pricey. My mother and I don't eat much for dinner, so we shared the sukiyaki bento box. The sukiyaki had a well-balanced flavor, not too salty or too sweet. The rice didn't get too soggy in the broth, and had just the right amount of flavor. We were satisfied with the 1000 yen bento box for the two of us. The sukiyaki and steak bento box became my brother's dinner. He said both were delicious, but he preferred the steak. Considering the price, I expected it to be delicious, so I'm glad it turned out well.

I came to this restaurant because it is a meat shop. I was expecting a casual yakiniku restaurant, but ended up in a calm place with private rooms, so I couldn't help but order a course meal. The Tanba beef was tender and delicious. The curry for the finale was also tasty. Thank you for the feast.

On this day, I was invited by a beef producer and the owner of the restaurant, and enjoyed the delicious Hirai beef to the fullest. Ginkakuji Onishi's restaurant, located near Kyoto City Hall, offers three course options priced at 7,000 yen, 9,800 yen, and 12,000 yen. Two weeks ago, my partner and I reserved the most expensive course for dinner. The menu included: - Cold steamed eggplant and conger eel, and wagyu beef shabu-shabu (the conger eel was delicious) - Wagyu tuna sushi with two different cuts of meat - Grilled meat: beef tongue, misji salt-grilled, sirloin shabu-shabu - Veal cream stew - Vegetable salad with homemade meat miso dressing - Chateaubriand steak with foie gras - Rice and soup with a choice of beef curry or cold noodles - Dessert We also enjoyed a bottle of red wine for 5,500 yen. The total bill, including tax and service charge, came to just under 30,000 yen. We visited on a holiday around 5 pm, shortly after opening, and were seated in a semi-private room for two. The service was prompt and efficient, allowing us to finish our meal in about 1.5 hours.

We made a reservation for a night course with our family on a certain anniversary. We arrived at the restaurant just before 5 o'clock, and the restaurant was already open and we were warmly welcomed. The service was excellent. We were guided to a semi-private room on the second floor with a traditional Kyoto-style atmosphere, and we enjoyed the dishes. Each dish was well thought out and the quality of the meat was exceptional. It's no surprise since the restaurant is run by a butcher. Surprisingly, the curry at the end was also delicious, truly amazing. I would love to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.

I had the course meal and it was delicious, but the meat was too greasy and gave me heartburn! I liked the meat miso and cheese risotto. The thick-cut tongue wasn't that great, I couldn't chew it properly. The atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious, so I want to come back again.

A meat wholesaler run meat shop. I ordered a course meal. The meat was incredibly tender and the fat was gentle, unlike anything I've had before. I can't remember the appetizer because the next beef sushi was so delicious. The tongue salt was tasty. Next, I had three types of Ichibo with different sauces (ponzu, wasabi and garlic chips, and yakiniku sauce). Delicious! Then came a refreshing salad. The meat miso that came with it was a bit spicy and hard to eat. I wanted to ask for dressing. The tongue stew with pie crust gratin was amazing. The tongue was melt-in-your-mouth. For the main course, I had "Kainomi" (a lightly fatty part) and "Sirloin" with truffle salt. Grilled vegetables were also included. The meat was incredibly delicious. A must-visit restaurant for sure. You can choose between rice and wakame soup or beef curry. I recommend the beef curry. For dessert, I had coconut panna cotta. Overall, the dishes were lightly seasoned and easy to eat. I thought it was a steak-centered restaurant, but it turned out to be more focused on yakiniku. There was no steak at all. Apart from yakiniku, they also offer beef sushi, stew, beef curry, and croquettes. It cost around 10,000 yen for one person, which is quite reasonable. I will definitely visit again when I go to Kyoto.

I have been taken to this yakiniku restaurant a few times, and the staff there are wonderful. The quality of the meat is top-notch, and personally, I think it's the most delicious in Kyoto. The meat sushi they serve is especially amazing! I could eat it endlessly. (о´∀`о)

I live in Kyoto and often pass by near Ginkaku-ji, so I was aware of this butcher shop but had never actually used it. The storefront is nice and the staff are attentive. We ordered yakiniku dishes such as tongue, kalbi, heart, harami, and chilled noodles. Everything was delicious and high quality. The prices are a bit high, so in terms of cost performance, it's not the best, but the kalbi in particular was very tasty. I plan to try their course menu next time.
