I revisited a restaurant that is difficult to book after 4 years. The prices have gone up quite a bit, but the quality has remained high and I am very satisfied with the evolution. I wonder when I can go next. I'll do my best! Afternoon tea for 8855 yen [Scones] Plain orange peel & macadamia nuts [Top tier] Desserts: Fruit Embellished Petit Maron Profiterole Roll, Jumble Tartlet, Lemon Cake, Pineapple, Mango [Bottom tier] Savory: Pork and seaweed roulade, Smoked salmon and grape roulade, Prosciutto, Papaya, Crab and white fish plandart, Cherry mozzarella and cherry tomato caprese, Cold potato soup Paris World Drink coffee and a variety of teas are available, including seasonal flavors like pumpkin and muscat grapes. For hot drinks, you can choose between a cup or a pot, and ordering a cup allows you to try many varieties. I enjoyed 9 different types with my friend. The dishes were all so unique that I couldn't imagine them just by their names, but each dish and the overall balance were fantastic. I was surprised at how delicious the scones were, even though I'm not a big fan of them! According to my friend, the clotted cream was of high quality. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent, and unusually for me, I enjoyed a leisurely tea time until the very last minute after finishing the meal. Thank you for the feast.

Needless to say, the specialty here is the pork noodle. A timeless masterpiece passed down through generations. It is made with two types of green onions, plenty of chili oil, and a generous amount of shichimi pepper. The seafood salad is also exquisite. The taste of this proud and renowned restaurant is so good that you will find yourself coming back again and again.

I was able to walk in to the desired origami. Although I couldn't make a reservation for Afternoon Tea, I was able to enter without one. I had an orange and mango parfait. It's not the trendy Instagrammable parfait, but the appearance made me feel excited. The cream, fruits, ice cream, and sauce were well-balanced, creating a refreshing parfait perfect for summer. The view was also amazing! *There was a reflection of a person on the glass, so I edited out the background of the parfait.

I visit afternoon tea once every three months. I always go with my favorite friends, and I never get tired of it no matter how many times I go. They have a wide variety of my favorite teas, and they serve them in cups so I can enjoy different types of tea. It takes a little time for them to bring the order, so it's recommended to order the next one after drinking about half. They also handle allergies well, so it's my favorite afternoon tea place.

In Tokyo's Tameike-Sanno area, the lounge "ORIGAMI" at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu is known for its signature dish, Pork Bone Ramen. Enjoying the Pork Bone Ramen in this stylish yet friendly lounge was a great experience! The soup was delicious, and the large pork ribs were tender with a satisfying crispy coating. The white leeks, green onions, chili oil, and seven-spice seasoning were great condiments. It's no wonder this dish is popular. The lunch set, which includes a choice of appetizers priced at over 2,000 yen with a drink, may seem a bit expensive at 5,000 yen for ramen, but it's worth it! The service was excellent, making the experience pleasant. The lounge is convenient for both foreign travelers and families. They even offer half portions for children and can make dishes like spaghetti without white wine. Such kindness! It was a wonderful dining experience!

Despite it still being July, I visited this afternoon tea that I had been looking forward to in the midst of this scorching heat. The hotel lobby here, located right in the heart of Akasaka, had politicians and their entourage scattered around. Reservations for this afternoon tea are hard to come by as they only accommodate a maximum of six groups per day! Luckily, I was able to secure a seat this time and visited. Unfortunately, today was the monthly courtyard cleaning day, so both the fountain and pond were closed. Despite having a window seat, it was a shame, but I decided to enjoy the moment. First, freshly baked scones were brought out! There were plain and walnut ones, served with clotted cream, jam, and honey. The freshly baked scones were delicious, but the clotted cream was the highlight of the meal. It was the best I've ever had. Next, the main afternoon tea tower was brought out. It was made of bamboo and the presentation was quite lovely. The top tier was sweets and the bottom tier was savory. The highlights among the sweets were the Mont Blanc and profiteroles. The almond cake was also quite tasty. Among the savory items, the pork roll and bisque soup were recommended. There was a variety of tea options to enjoy, but strangely enough, the iced latte was the most delicious. It would be great if reservations were a bit easier to come by.

I enjoyed a leisurely tea time with my parents. We were seated at a lovely spot overlooking a beautiful garden by the water, and had a wonderful time. We ordered a cake set for three, each choosing a different cake. The tea was served in a generous pot, and considering the service and the enjoyable time we had, the hotel price was reasonable. I really liked it and would love to visit again when I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I finally had the opportunity to visit the difficult-to-reserve The Capitol Tokyu Lounge ORIGAMI for their afternoon tea. I arrived an hour early by mistake, but fortunately it wasn't late. The menu until the end of September costs 8855 yen including tax. Some of my favorites included:
- Citrus verrine
- Potted chocolate mint
- Red and white peach gateau
- Chestnut gateau shaped like an acorn
- Ginger-flavored cream puff
- Mini lemon tart
- Almond cake with mango marmalade and pineapple confiture
- Savory scones with various fillings like smoked salmon and crab
They also offered a variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic wine. I forgot to try the matcha, but I did enjoy the seasonal iced tea. Overall, it was a delicious and enjoyable experience. #AfternoonTea #TheCapitolHotelTokyu #OrigamiLounge #AkasakaGourmet #TokyoGourmet #AfternoonTeaLovers #TheCapitolAfternoonTea #DifficultReservation #AfternoonTeaAroundTheWorld #TheCapitolHotelTokyuAfternoonTea #TokyoAfternoonTea #TeaTime

I visited Origami for the first time since it was renovated. The popular pork ramen is still available and the soup is light and delicious. The potato galette with avocado sauce as an appetizer was generous in portion and excellent. The lunch prix fixe of pork sauté came with a salad and steamed vegetables, making it very satisfying. The dessert, lemon cake, was a perfect way to end the meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The lunch, priced around 5000 yen in a hotel, was fantastic in terms of quality. The Palace Hotel was fully booked, so I hesitated between eating on the terrace in the scorching heat or inside. However, I made the right choice and my companion was delighted. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the lounge "ORIGAMI" at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu in Tameike-Sanno. It was difficult to make a reservation as I knew, but miraculously I was able to secure a reservation for July after struggling to get one for a month! The hotel was filled with a pleasant fragrance, and I couldn't help but take a deep breath multiple times. Various works designed by Kengo Kuma were found throughout the hotel, creating a modern and sophisticated atmosphere. Although I made a reservation for two, they prepared a spacious sofa seat for four. After placing our drink orders, we waited for a while and 10 minutes later, scones were brought to us - one with orange peel and the other with macadamia nuts. Both scones were delicious. It was unusual for the scones to be served before the stand, but as we waited, a bamboo basket stand was brought to us. It looked very cool and beautiful for the summer season. The stand had two tiers, with sweets on the top and savory items on the bottom. Each item was meticulously crafted, colorful, visually appealing, and of course, delicious. The variety of drinks, including a wide selection of teas, allowed us to try different types. I heard that the Royal Milk Tea was delicious, so I tried it and ended up having a refill because it was so good. When leaving, I also bought the Capitol Donut and Truffle Salt Bread to take out. I always wanted to buy the Capitol Donut when visiting Capitol Tokyu. Although it was large and voluminous, it was surprisingly light and fluffy, disappearing in no time, perhaps due to the hidden lemon flavor. The Truffle Salt Bread was also delicious with plenty of truffle inside. I will definitely purchase them again if I have the chance to visit.

I went to this place based on a friend's recommendation and it was definitely the right choice. The apple pancakes were thin like crepes and paired perfectly with the royal milk tea, allowing me to enjoy a luxurious time. The lounge has a great view and a sense of openness. The luxury of a hotel lounge combined with the calmness of the Capitol Hotel creates a wonderful atmosphere. The window seats are especially relaxing. The afternoon tea is also popular. And you can't help but want to buy some bread or cake displayed at the counter when paying the bill.

On the 3rd floor of The Capitol Hotel Tokyu, there is a lounge. The lounge had an elegant atmosphere, so I was wondering if they offered takeout, but as soon as I entered, I saw a refrigerated case with sweets and bread lined up. Melon Shortcake: The refreshing sweetness of the melon pairs well with the refined sweetness of the cream. The lightly fluffy sponge is also very good. Tart Series: A tart that makes you feel the season with cherries and American cherries. It combines the tartness with the flavor of pistachio and chocolate. Te Veil Trefie: This is a pear dessert. It combines pears with calamansi, hojicha, chocolate, and hazelnuts, and although the flavors seem complex, they come together beautifully to enhance the pear. I enjoyed delicious original sweets. Thank you for the meal.

Located inside The Capitol Hotel Tokyu, Lounge ORIGAMI is a place I often visit for work meetings on weekdays. This time, I tried their seasonal special, the Pineapple Parfait, which was delicious and quite filling. The Capitol Hotel Tokyu is conveniently connected to Kokkai-gijidomae Station and Tameike-Sanno Station, so you can easily access it even on rainy days without getting wet. The lounge has a relaxing atmosphere with a sense of openness, making it one of my favorite places to unwind.

Deluxe cream pan, so delicious! It's really fluffy, and even the touch feels soft and fluffy. It's completely different from other cream pans I've had before, I'm so impressed! It was an experience that I couldn't have imagined from previous cream pans. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the "Lounge ORIGAMI" located on the 3rd floor of the hotel "The Capitol Hotel Tokyu", directly connected to the 6th exit of Tameike-Sanno Station. The location is between the Prime Minister's Office and Hie Shrine. The lounge features a spacious atrium with a wooden motif, allowing natural light to fill the space and offering a view of the lush garden with a pond. I tried the ⭐️ The Capitol Afternoon Tea: - Service period: 4/1-6/30 - Service time: 14:00-18:00 - Stay time limit: 2.5 hours - Available for 2 people - Price: ¥8,855 per person (tax and service charge included) The afternoon tea menu includes a variety of sweets and savories, along with a selection of coffee, tea, and wine alternatives. The seasonal theme for this tea set is inspired by the transition from spring to early summer, featuring ingredients like melon, pistachio, mango, and strawberry. The presentation of the tea stand, handcrafted with Suruga bamboo weaving, adds an elegant touch to the experience.

I visited ORIGAMI for a reward lunch after working hard. The fried chicken here is so delicious that I can't count how many times I've had it. It may seem like a daunting amount for a woman to eat alone, but I believe it's worth fasting for. The crispy coating, juicy breast meat, and exciting presentation make it the pinnacle of fried chicken. It's a masterpiece that could be considered for a last supper. Oh, I want to eat it again.

I was planning to have an early lunch, so I had a light breakfast at Origami Light Breakfast Hotel. The omelette at breakfast was so delicious. The mixed vegetable drink that came with the set was also tasty. The large Échiré butter was a nice touch. I would love to visit again and take my time enjoying the meal.

After having lunch in Akasaka as usual, I always come here to have tea with my regular friends from this hotel. I often come here with a full stomach, haha. This day we came with a large group and unfortunately, all the cakes were already popular and sold out. I saw a cake case with nothing in it for the first time. Everyone really wanted cake that day. We tried the recommended German Apple Pancake, which even President Obama had tried. It was light, not too sweet, and seemed perfect for sharing among friends. We will definitely come back again.

Located within the Capital Hotel directly connected to Tameike-Sanno Station is "Lounge ORIGAMI." This lounge offers a spacious and calming atmosphere with a high ceiling and views of a garden. For a limited time at Lounge ORIGAMI, you can enjoy their "Strawberry Parfait." The artistic mosaic of strawberries is mesmerizing. Beneath the mascarpone foam, layers of strawberry ice cream, sauce, pie crust, and whipped cream are stacked. The light texture of the foam and the subtle acidity of the strawberries create a perfect combination that will make you swoon. Available from mid-January to March, this exquisite dessert is perfect for welcoming the arrival of spring.

I went to buy a banana cake as a gift for a friend, but the shop was closed. However, the lounge next door was selling pastries to go, including the banana cake. The food was a bit pricey, but the quality was excellent. The melon bread was especially delicious. The banana cake is sold vacuum-packed online, but when purchased in-store, it is not vacuum-packed and tends to dry out quickly, so it's best to eat it within 3 days.
