I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, and I finally made it. I made a reservation for the Italian and Korean fusion course, which was the middle bamboo course. It was really good! We started with a toast with Heartland beer. The kimchi platter and bean sprout namul were delicious appetizers. The main courses included different cuts of high-quality meat such as yukhoe, tongue assortment, Matsusaka beef, and more. The egg used in the yukhoe was from a special breed of chicken that had a rich red yolk. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the various salts provided really enhanced the taste. The Matsusaka beef bolognese and tail soup were also amazing. The dessert was refreshing orange sherbet. The service was great, and the value for the money was excellent. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality meat in a great location without a service charge. The option to add a drink package for a reasonable price makes it even more appealing. I personally enjoyed the bamboo course, but the plum course with a drink package is also a great value. On our wedding anniversary, we had a course meal. The first tan (dish) was incredibly delicious and satisfying with a good portion size. The red meat assortment included kalbi, loin, and uchihira. They were tasty, but as I get older, the fat content becomes a bit overwhelming. The pasta for the finale was exquisite! The dessert sorbet was refreshing after the meal. Looking at the menu, there are other dishes I would like to try, so I would like to revisit this place again.

I heard that you can eat Matsusaka beef from Asahiya, which is extremely popular in Mie Prefecture. I have high expectations for the charming streets of Sakae-machi. Having a regular meal with a junior brother in Kyoto. In the evening twilight, we meet at an Italian restaurant under Kyoto Tower, where I listen to his troubles or complaints. It's an important role as an older brother. After he feels better, we gather with his friends and volunteers for tonight's meal. We move to Pontocho and dine at GANSAN Pontocho Annex, a place where you can enjoy Matsusaka beef at a reasonable price. We start with a kimchi assortment, carpaccio with roast beef, and a premium tongue assortment. The special order of Matsusaka beef yukhoe and tongue sashimi is, of course, delicious. We take a break with bean sprout namul before enjoying the red meat of the day - tail, ichibo, lamboso, and special kalbi. The final highlight is the Matsusaka beef sirloin. We grill 2mm thick, 15cm long meat for 7 seconds on each side, then mix it with eggs and rice. This is the essence of yakiniku. We finish with oxtail soup and dessert. The service is average, but the atmosphere is quite nice. Ideally, I would like to enjoy it with friends in a private room along the Kamo River. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again when I have the chance.

I really like this yakiniku restaurant in Pontocho and this was my 5th visit. They have two counter seats at the entrance where you can sit as a pair, and 5 tables for 4 people at the back. Today, we sat at a table. We ordered the usual premium tongue assortment, basil salt bibimbap, lean meat, and a special tongue-like lean meat dish with red pepper. For dessert, we tried their homemade tiramisu and raspberry. We also had beer, white wine, and red wine. The basil salt goes really well with the wine! The chef has a friend in Matsusaka, so they serve top-quality Matsusaka beef. The special basil salt seasoning is amazing! They no longer use lemon with the tongue. This time, we also tried the salted green onions. Chopped green onions with salt and seasoning? This also goes well with the meat! The cost performance is great, and all the side dishes have originality. Everything we tried was surprisingly delicious.

The yakiniku restaurant is located along the Kamo River, just a short walk from Sanjo-dori. The floor was not tatami. They serve plenty of Matsuzaka beef. ① First, you can enjoy Yukhoe, which is not easy to find in other places! ② A platter of tongue with fresh basil that pairs well with wine. There are 5 types available, very satisfying. ③ Aside from the harami, other cuts were tough and fatty. ④ The beef temari sushi is a must-try, with a unique sauce. The perfect finish to the meal. ⑤ For dessert, we ordered the ice cream commonly found in yakiniku restaurants. The powdered green tea served was delicious. The service was very attentive, and they pay attention to the quality of the salt. It was delicious! I would love to come back again.

I heard that a separate residence called "Betten" was built, so I decided to visit. Wow, you can see the Kamogawa River in the back! I heard they might build a floor there. The menu has a variety of options. They even have craft beer! I ordered a balanced mix of meat and vegetables. They have a smokeless roaster, which might be better for girls. The meat is delicious as always! The quality is top-notch! The salads are a mix of Korean and Italian styles. Both are delicious, but I prefer the Korean one. However, I had to leave in the middle of the visit due to a fire incident, so I will definitely come back for another visit.

This was my first time having yakiniku in Pontocho. I liked the atmosphere on the street, so I made a reservation. The entrance is in a narrow alley, but the sign is easy to spot so you won't get lost. We ordered a la carte, including top harami, top kalbi, and thick-cut beef tongue. The taste of the meat was good, but it was a bit small which was disappointing. We had a private room, but we could hear everything from the next room, where a group was being very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation.
