I used it for my boyfriend's birthday celebration. The smoke was effectively removed by the ventilation system, so there was hardly any concern about the smell of clothes or hair. We had the 8000 yen course. The portion was just right, and it was a menu that was also kind to women. I will definitely visit again.

I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in over 2 years due to the pandemic, and we decided to have dinner at "Danro" in Pontocho, Kyoto. It was a weekday evening before 7 pm, and the streets of Pontocho were quite empty, with some restaurants having no customers. We had our temperature checked upon entering, and since we had made a reservation, we were led to a small private room on the third floor. As it was our first time there, we ordered the "Danro Course" that the restaurant is known for. The meat was all tender and delicious, especially the thick-cut tongue and the recommended Tender Queen steak. The assortment of 4 lean meats included loin, geta kalbi, marukame, and marushin, which may vary depending on the day. Overall, we were very satisfied with the meal.
