On such hot days, I crave ice cream. To cool down my overheated body, I usually take a cold shower and then crave for cold ice cream or gelato. I've heard a lot about Baskin-Robbins and I remember eating it a long time ago. After watching TV last night, I really wanted to have some Baskin-Robbins ice cream. I think there is a Baskin-Robbins inside Kitaoji VIVRE. I wonder how much I have to eat to get free parking, haha. They seem to focus on the roundness of the ice cream and how it should be as round as possible. I asked the beautiful lady at the information center in Kitaoji VIVRE for directions. It was a bit hidden in the first-floor food court. I'm definitely going to Baskin-Robbins today. The ice cream there has dreamy colors. Peach Melba is beautiful with its yellow and pink colors. But I can't decide if I want the Pistachio flavor in a double scoop or a single scoop. Today they said the ice cream will be a big round one as a special service. I asked to see how big it will be, and if it's too big, I'll just have one scoop. The two staff members were so friendly and had a great smile. They both said they were just part-time workers and their yellow caps suited them well. The cups with "Aloha" written on them were nice. Aloha!

It's Friday! Friday! I got a limited edition Twinkle Tree (ice cream) and it was delicious! There was a long line but it was worth it. It's melting, I'm eating it now. My friend, who is with Softbank, hasn't tried it yet, so I told them they're missing out! The Rocky Road flavor was really good. I already know the taste of the chocolate, so maybe I'll try the limited edition next time.

Halloween decorations at the ice cream shop were great, so I was excited to try it on the 31st. But when I lined up, I saw the "Sold Out" sign. It was popular! Even though I waited in line, I decided to get the double mini ice cream at 31% off for Halloween. I usually don't like the usual flavors, so I decided to try the neon monster and pumpkin pie flavors, which were a bit bold for me. The neon monster was a mix of soda, grape, and melon flavors, surprisingly refreshing. The pumpkin pie flavor tasted like cold pumpkin soup with a hint of maple. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the Halloween flavors I tried, and enjoyed the discounted price too.

Happy New Year♪ On New Year's Day, I went for a stroll and ended up wandering around outside. By chance, Kitaoji Vivre was open, so I went in and looked around. As a souvenir, I decided to buy a take-out ice cream from Baskin-Robbins. Since it's a special occasion, I chose an ice cream shaped like the zodiac monkey for the New Year (^_^)b_♪♪ I picked the "Happy Doll Saru" (430 yen) from the series of ice creams shaped like rabbits, pandas, and bears, with the monkey being a limited edition for 2016. You can choose your favorite ice cream flavor and they will make it for you. I always go for Caramel Ribbon at Baskin-Robbins, so this time I asked for the same. The ears of the monkey are made of chocolate, with chocolate used for the eyes and nose as well. The white cream is used to represent the fur. It also comes with a yellow banana made of marble chocolate♪ The sample photo looked really cute, but the actual ice cream may be a bit "ugly-cute," but that's part of the fun (*^▽^)/★*☆♪ It put me in a slightly playful mood. Today, I went to a botanical garden for a chrysanthemum exhibition! The cosmos flowers for October are in full bloom too! The rose garden is still beautiful. At the chrysanthemum exhibition, there were chrysanthemums that looked like bonsai, which was surprising. After enjoying the beautiful flowers, I had to get some sweets. I stopped by a cute shop with limited Halloween-themed menu items. I ordered the Halloween Sundae Milky Matcha for 540 yen. The sundae had two of my favorite ice cream flavors, matcha brownie, whipped cream, gold sugar, star-shaped chocolate, ghost-shaped chocolate, and pumpkin cookies as decorations. The ice cream flavors were Jamoca Coffee and Very Berry Strawberry. The Jamoca Coffee had a nice aroma without any bitterness, even for someone like me who doesn't like coffee. The Very Berry Strawberry had frozen strawberries in it, which was a nice touch. The matcha brownie was moist and slightly bitter, which I enjoyed. The pumpkin cookie was a shocking pink color and had a unique flavor that wasn't to my liking. The gold sugar was cute but not very enjoyable to eat. Overall, the Halloween Sundae was adorable and fun to look at. It brought back memories of the luxury ice cream I used to have as a child. Today was a satisfying day with flowers and sweets!

I go shopping at Kitaoji Vivre from time to time. I look at clothes, books, Blu-rays, musical instruments, household goods, and even pets. I end my shopping trip with buying groceries. I end up spending over 2 hours at this shopping center, and after getting tired from walking, I sometimes treat myself to Baskin Robbins. I usually go for a single scoop as the double or triple scoops are too much for me. My daughter likes the ice cream that pops in her mouth, while my wife prefers the chocolate mint flavor. Although I like Baskin Robbins ice cream, I personally prefer their sherbet, especially the lemon flavor. It's refreshing for my tired body. While we enjoy our ice cream, I notice that the ice cream keeps getting sold out one after another. There are limited free seats, which may be tough for families with young children. However, even if adults have to stand, it's nice to see children happily enjoying their ice cream while sitting together. I will definitely visit Baskin Robbins again when I feel tired from shopping.

31. In Vibre, you can eat at the food court, but many people prefer to take their food home with dry ice. Consequently, when taking food home, it's often in cup form. On the other hand, maybe people only eat waffles at the food court when they want to. But the food court is not very relaxing.

There was an event where doubles turned into triples. It had been a while since I visited this place. I had the option to choose from 3 flavors, and the price of 460 yen plus 30 yen for a waffle cone felt quite reasonable. I ordered the classic Cookies & Cream, followed by Popping, and lastly a Lemon-flavored sherbet with bits of tomato mixed in. I usually order ice cream flavors like Chocolate Mint, but adding the sherbet was the right choice this time. The Lemon Tomato flavor was refreshing, with a strong tomato taste, making it the most delicious choice on a hot evening. When I placed my order, the staff recommended the waffle cone for easier eating, and it was the right choice. It seems quite challenging to fit a triple scoop in a regular cone, and psychologically, it feels like the ice cream would be smaller. I wonder if having a larger container would mean larger ice cream portions... just a thought. I was impressed by how well the staff arranged the scoops. I'll definitely revisit during the event.

I love Baskin Robbins, so I stopped by while in Kitaoji. It's located on the first floor of VIVRE, which was a bit crowded and noisy, so I didn't feel like eating there. However, the staff were very friendly and I appreciated their service. I even got to taste a new flavor with a taste spoon at the counter. In the end, I ordered the Popping Shower (regular size). It was great with the popping candy inside.

I suddenly felt like having some Baskin-Robbins ice cream, so I headed to the shop right away. That day, they were running a promotion called "Challenge the Triple", where if you order a double scoop, they upgrade it to a triple scoop for you. The small triple scoop was priced at 440 yen. I had a hard time deciding which three flavors to choose, but ended up going with my usual favorites - Rum Raisin, Caramel Ribbon, and a refreshing Melon flavor. I also got a waffle cone, but the staff recommended having it in a cup since it was hot outside. It was my first time having it in a cup, and it was so cute. The ice cream tasted just as good as always. Baskin-Robbins never disappoints. I'm a bit worried about the calories, though. I also received a calendar with 31 different ice cream flavors listed on it. I knew they had 31 flavors, but I always ordered the same ones. They have Matcha and Azuki Bean flavors too. I didn't realize they had so many options. I'll make sure to take a closer look and try different flavors next time.

During Golden Week, there was a 31% discount on doubles at this Baskin-Robbins, so I decided to take advantage of it. Despite it being Golden Week, the store was relatively empty and I was able to order right away. This time, I got a small double with Strawberry Cheesecake and Nutty Salted Caramel flavors. I still had some gift certificates I got through the Furusato Tax Payment program in Oyama-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture, so I used them. I tried the ice cream right away. The Strawberry Cheesecake flavor was as expected, quite delicious. As for the limited-time Nutty Salted Caramel, it was my third time trying it and I really like it, almost wishing it wasn't limited. With the hot season approaching, I'll definitely be coming back for more.

I recently visited Kitaoji Vivre in Kyoto. After having a meal, I decided to try some dessert and went to Baskin Robbins. They were running a promotion where you could get a masking tape with a purchase of a Triple Pop, but they had run out of stock. However, I had a 500 yen gift certificate that I got through hometown tax payment, so I used it to get a Triple Pop for exactly 500 yen. I had trouble deciding on the flavors, but ended up choosing my usual favorites - Caramel Ribbon, Chocolate Sorbet, and Spring Basket. I tried it right away and still think that Caramel Ribbon is my favorite. There are many flavors to choose from, and I haven't tried them all yet, so I'm not sure which one is the best.
