I visited the restaurant with a friend, it's my friend's favorite place. My friend recommended the charcoal-grilled meat and sausages. The staff told us that it's best to cut the sausages into small pieces and eat them slowly to enjoy the cheese inside. The sausages were delicious! The risotto that followed was light yet flavorful, easy to eat. The restaurant was full, so it's better to make a reservation before going.

I used the VIP room. I was worried about whether my small children would disturb others, but the soundproofing was excellent enough to handle even their loud voices. The tatami room with a table and chairs was also very nice. The food was delicious and the all-you-can-drink wine felt like a great deal. Most importantly, the staff's service was excellent. There was a young woman who was incredibly talented and I was very impressed. I definitely want to use this place again.

Unlimited wine all-you-can-drink with various flavors of wine and other alcoholic beverages! Plus, the salad appetizer (surprisingly substantial!) all-you-can-eat is super worth it! Even when you're short on money but want to drink and eat, this place comes highly recommended!

This chain of restaurants is amazing. The service is excellent, they explain the dishes very well, and recommend their specialties. You can enjoy delicious food and drinks for around 5000 yen per person. It's popular, so walk-ins may be turned away. My favorites are the fried potatoes and the meat tataki.

We used this restaurant in Kyoto with our work colleagues. It was the first time trying Italian food in Kyoto. We wanted to enjoy wine and charcoal fire as the restaurant name suggests, but I wasn't feeling well so I had to pass on the wine. I decided to enjoy the food with a highball to avoid getting too drunk. It was a course meal, so we shared the large dishes that came out, which was great. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice too. Overall, it was a great experience to enjoy with colleagues. Thank you very much. The food was delicious.

The Basque cheesecake is incredibly delicious. The all-you-can-eat salad bar seems nice at first, but the salad is watery and not tasty. The last thing you want is that unpleasant watery taste lingering in your mouth. It would be better to use a salad spinner to completely drain the water. It would make a huge difference in quality. The dishes overall are tasty, but nothing extraordinary. It seems like a place that people who know good restaurants might not purposely choose to go. The recommended meat dish was tough to chew even though they use Olein 55. The drinks, including the all-you-can-drink option and the variety of original cocktails, are nice. The pizza, pasta, and prosciutto were delicious.

The charcoal grill and wine at this restaurant are top-notch. We made a reservation and were able to get a spacious table. The salad bar with unlimited dressings was delicious - I went back for seconds three times. The meat was cooked slowly for an hour and was juicy. The potatoes had a unique mayo that I really liked. Overall, everything was delicious!

On Sunday at 7 pm, the first floor was full. The second floor had tables, while the first floor had tatami seating and a counter. It was stylish. The unlimited premium all-you-can-drink option was fantastic. The wine and cocktails were really delicious. And the dessert, the Basque cheesecake, was amazing. The staff were friendly and it's a really great place.

There were stylish people including those with children, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant was not too noisy, and it felt more geared towards a younger crowd. This was my first visit, so we ordered a la carte. Everything was delicious. The drink menu was fun, with drinks named after famous people, and the staff's service was good, so this place has become one I want to visit again. I think the all-you-can-drink course is worth it.

Saturday 16:00 Charcoal and Wine Kyoto Kawaramachi store There are several stores in the same chain with the same name, but this is my first time visiting. I entered the store as soon as it opened. I had made a reservation in advance, and the day before, I received a phone call to confirm the reservation and was told that the next reservation was already scheduled, so even if I was late, the end time would not change, so they asked me not to be late. I was well prepared for the start. I changed into slippers and sat at a table on the second floor. Gold Course with 3-hour all-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen: - Bonito Tataki with straw-grilled red meat - Assorted 5 appetizers - Mussels steamed in white wine from Oita Prefecture - Fried gnocchi - Grilled meat (Oita Wagyu beef, pork loin, sausage) - Truffle-scented mussel bouillon risotto - Domestic snow crab with rich tomato cream sauce - Salt cheese mousse They started with a toast with sparkling wine provided by the restaurant (not on the menu), and then I chose my drinks from the all-you-can-drink menu. I often saw the store in Shijo bustling with people, so I chose this place with high expectations for a long-awaited meal with friends. Starting with the straw-grilled Tataki, beautifully arranged dishes were brought one after another. I think it's great for a girls' night out or a date. The seasoning is designed to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients, with many dishes having a strong seafood broth flavor, making them surprisingly easy to eat and quite enjoyable. The meat dishes were also very satisfying, with each plate offering something different from home-cooked meals, making it fun and delicious. I enjoyed sparkling wine (for the toast), Malt's red beer, Malt's berry soda (non-alcoholic vinegar drink), and had a great time for 3 hours. My friends enjoyed the sangria. They also complimented the food, so I was relieved. I will visit again, thank you for the meal.

Feeling a bit lost, I stumbled upon this place - Charcoal x Wine. The interior had a traditional Japanese feel, with guests taking off their shoes before entering. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. They offered a choice of salad or nuts as a complimentary starter, and I opted for the nuts. The variety of wines available was impressive. For my main dish, I had pasta with egg yolk and salmon roe, which was absolutely delicious. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance.

I reserved a table at Tonbei, where they offer unlimited drinks with no time limit, which is amazing. They also have a leaf salad as a complimentary appetizer. I started with a sparkling rosé for a toast and enjoyed the salad while waiting for the main dishes. I had the following dishes: - Roasted duck with shiitake mushrooms and flower yukke - Grilled bonito with beets and cheese - Warm potato butter with caviar fermented whipped butter - Oyster and avocado tartare - Duck with green onions and sea urchin sushi - Special Oita Bungo beef lamp with Maldon salt and Genovese mashed potatoes - Pasta with tilefish crab, flower crab, zucchini, and bottarga - Oita Wagyu meat sauce spaghetti For dessert, I had the homemade Basque cheesecake and fondant chocolat. The staff were very welcoming and explained the dishes well. They even helped mix the spaghetti with meat sauce at the table. I also witnessed a birthday surprise celebration with a beautifully presented dessert plate. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The variety of wines available was exciting, and all the dishes were perfect for pairing with wine. Visited in February 2020 with a rating of 3.04 on Tabelog. Today, I had a drinking party in Kawaramachi after a long time. The restaurant we went to is "Charcoal and Wine Shijo FUYACHO store"! They opened in Kyoto Shijo Fuyacho on December 21st last year, and they specialize in charcoal-grilled meat, local vegetables, seafood, and unlimited wine drinking. The highlight is the unlimited wine drinking for a set period. I've been to "Charcoal and Wine" before and it was really good. When we made a reservation, we were seated at a table on the 2nd floor and discussed whether to add the unlimited drink option. We decided to go for the premium all-you-can-drink option for 2,100 yen. We started with a toast with draft beer. After enjoying a few regular draft beers, we tried some unique beer cocktails - a fruity red beer and a refreshing grass beer. Both were delicious. The menu had many interesting items, and we ordered a variety of dishes. We had leaf salad, charcoal-grilled chicken, Oita Wagyu, and Kawachi duck tataki, warm potato butter, special red meat with 55% oleic acid, mushroom and taro Oita Wagyu bouillon ajillo, focaccia, crab with fruit tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella, sand lance nuggets, and cheese platter. The tataki platter had a nice charcoal aroma, and the special red meat tataki was rich in flavor. The warm potato butter had layers of sliced tomato and mashed potatoes with fermented whipped butter, topped with chives and caviar. The special red meat was tender and flavorful, with a perfect balance of lean meat and slight sweetness of fat. The Oita Wagyu bouillon ajillo was rich and flavorful, with taro adding a unique touch. On Saturday around 17:00, I visited the restaurant with a friend without a reservation. The place was fully booked, so they asked if we were okay with a table until 19:00, which made me think it must be a popular spot. The staff were all young in their twenties and had a lively vibe. They seemed to be enjoying their work, which was heartwarming to see. I went there specifically for the "Devil's Charcoal Sandwich" I saw on Instagram, but it turned out to be a limited-time item. The salad they served as a starter was delicious, and I ended up getting seconds. It was so good that I felt it could easily be priced around 700 yen at other places. I ordered white wine, sparkling wine, prosciutto, fried torta, smoked mozzarella, live mussels steamed in white wine, and mussel risotto (you can only order the mussels steamed in white wine if you also order the risotto). Having visited a cafe before, I was already quite full with the salad and the four dishes I ordered.
