General! Thank you very much for a happy time! The surprise after the meal was also thoughtful and delightful. I would love to visit again in the future.

This is a restaurant where the head chef prepares sushi in the traditional Edo style. The sushi is delicious, but what really adds to the experience is the chef's lively conversation, which enhances the meal and makes the drinks go down smoothly. They have a wide variety of drinks available. I discovered a hidden gem of a sushi restaurant in Gion.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Kyoto! Not only the sushi, but also the appetizers are really delicious at this sushi restaurant. The chef is very friendly and fun to talk to, so I had a wonderful time. I enjoyed unique dishes such as child-carrying kombu tempura and croquettes, which you don't often see in Tokyo. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

There was only sushi. They stopped offering individual dishes because there was too much waste. They said they had no drink menu, but there were hardly any drinks available. The red vinegar rice was not to my liking as a Kyoto native. The fish was pre-cut, so when eating sushi as a snack with alcohol, it seemed very sloppy. The way they made the sushi, constantly pushing the rice back, didn't make it taste good. It was my girlfriend's birthday so we got the most expensive course, but the order was all mixed up. Appetizers, steamed egg custard, cream croquette sushi, nigiri (fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, horse mackerel, various others, and finally cucumber roll) came out in that order, and the nigiri went from strong flavors to mild. I think Kansai people prefer the opposite. I wrote in the comments if something could be done, but it was ignored. They were recommended as a smoking-friendly place by a friend, but they adjust their service based on the customers they see.

The atmosphere is quite stylish, but the space is small and the portion sizes are small. It's recommended for a date, but not for those looking to leave full.
