Located at 1-32-2 Higashi Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, near Toho Cinemas Ikebukuro, on the 1st floor of the Ogawa Building. After reading MyRebi's review and bookmarking it, I visited at 11:24 on a Saturday. There were 6 people lined up. I purchased a meal ticket at the ticket machine inside the store and lined up again. I was intrigued by the "Crab Miso Ramen Regular Size for 1000 yen" posted on the window, so I bought a meal ticket and lined up again. The staff will collect the meal tickets while you are waiting in line. I was seated at the counter after about 10 minutes. There were two male staff in the kitchen and a female staff in the hall. The radio was playing in the store. The ramen arrived in 10 minutes after sitting down. The noodles were thin and firm. The chashu had a firm texture. The soup was soy sauce-based with a crab flavor. The toppings included young corn, naruto, shredded crab meat, menma, white negi, shredded red pepper, and mitsuba. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Ikebukuro Weekday Lunch Series. Today, I felt like having ramen and decided to visit this restaurant. I arrived just before 12 o'clock and was able to be seated right away, but it took about 15 minutes for the ramen to be served. I ordered the rich and spicy tsukemen with extra noodles, which I had never tried before, with a base of niboshi (dried sardines). The taste was not overwhelmingly spicy, but you could definitely feel the heat. The generous amount of toppings, as always, and the extra noodles for the same price as a regular portion made me very happy as it was a filling amount. Thank you for the meal.

【Special Boiled Sardine Tsukemen (Large) (1260 yen)】The tsukemen comes in two sizes, regular with 200g and large with 300g, both priced the same. The fish and pork bone soup is delicious, but can sometimes taste similar, so this time I chose "sardine." When handing over the ticket, you will be asked if you prefer fish or sardine soup. The soup is a rich pork bone base with a sardine flavor. It's on the lighter side, but the bonito powder sticks to the noodles. The noodles are square-shaped with whole wheat flour, providing a chewy texture and are delicious on their own. The toppings include uncommon ingredients like shimeji mushrooms, baby corn, and a hidden piece of Gonpachi bamboo shoot. The roasted pork and steamed chicken are well-seasoned and taste great when eaten with the soup and noodles. By the time I finished the noodles, the soup had reduced to about 1/5, so I added a little hot water to finish it off. Recommended for those who are getting tired of the usual fish and pork bone soup.

I had a fish-based tsukemen. It was categorized into two types: one with dried sardines and another type. I would like to try both to compare. The flavor was on the stronger side, so it's better not to dip the noodles too much in the soup. The enoki mushrooms were crunchy and delicious.

It was a long time since my last visit. My friend and I arrived at the restaurant after 1 pm. There were a few seats available at the counter, so we purchased our meal tickets from the machine and took our seats. More customers arrived after us, and soon the restaurant was full. It's really popular! The prices had gone up quite a bit, but I guess that's understandable given the current situation. As for the taste, I personally think this is the best tsukemen in Ikebukuro. The fact that the noodles are made from whole grain flour is also great! I reported on this a few years ago, so please check that out for more details. I would like to try the "niku mori tsuke soba" next time I visit! This menu item seems to have traditional Japanese soba noodles.

It was delicious! It took about 10 minutes for the noodles to cook, so I waited a bit for them to be ready. The meat was tender and the noodles were delicious. The soup had the perfect level of richness, and I ended up finishing all of it!

Located a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro (East Exit) Station, this popular restaurant operates on a food ticket system and has only small counter seats. Even on Sundays after 1 pm, there is always a line. Their specialty is the rich and flavorful dipping noodles (regular/large for 1,260 yen), with the same price for both sizes. The roast pork is tender with a sweet flavor. The viscosity of the dipping sauce is not too thick, with a slight texture of fish powder. This is a classic fish-based dipping noodles. The special version comes with a variety of toppings, which is a nice touch. Finishing off with a yuzu-flavored soup broth leaves you feeling satisfied. The counter is quite small, so it may be a bit of a hassle to wait in line just to eat here.

Today around 11:15 AM, I visited the restaurant for the first time and entered smoothly without lining up. I purchased the rich seafood ramen with extra noodles at the ticket machine. The broth was full of fish powder and had a rich pork bone seafood flavor, which is a safe choice. Even with the extra noodles, it disappeared in no time. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I had to work in Ikebukuro. It happened to be a rare day with a strike at Seibu Department Store, the first in 60 years, and I found myself in Ikebukuro for work. It took a bit longer than expected, and I was really hungry. So I decided to have some delicious ramen for dinner at a popular restaurant in Ikebukuro, called Chisoumen Tanukana Mamiana. I was prepared to wait in line, but luckily I was able to get in right away. I chose the rich seafood dipping noodles for 960 yen using the ticket machine. I sat at the counter and handed my ticket to the staff. While waiting, I followed their Twitter and Instagram accounts from the QR code on the counter and checked out their past posts. The rich seafood dipping noodles for 960 yen arrived, and it came with a large piece of roast beef. It was moist and delicious. There were also chicken chashu and other toppings like bamboo shoots, shimeji mushrooms, menma, and seaweed. I dipped the chewy noodles in the rich dipping sauce and enjoyed the flavors. The noodles made from whole wheat flour from Hokkaido had a nice texture and aroma. It was really delicious. Finally, I finished with a soup refresher. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious food. I will definitely come back again!

I visited for the first time. I ordered the special dipping noodles with dried bonito broth. The noodles are delicious. I tried a few noodles without dipping them in the broth. However, I thought the broth could have had a stronger bonito flavor. Overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It was hot outside, so I decided to have the tsukemen here. It's been a while since I last came, and I feel like the prices have gone up quite a bit. I ordered the spicy tsukemen (with seafood) for 1,030 yen. The staff member was foreign, and I couldn't understand what they were saying. It's common in restaurants now, but I wish they would use someone who can communicate better for customer service. The tsukemen tasted good, but the water in the water jug was warm because the ice had melted. The soup refill was empty. Overall, there were a few things that were lacking.

Visit on August 25th (Friday) at 3:30 PM. About 7-8 minutes from Ikebukuro Station East Exit. The counter has about 12 seats in a U-shape. It seems to be a popular place as it was almost full even at this time. It was a bit concerning that there was no "welcome" when we entered. The Special Rich Dried Fish Broth Tsukemen (large) for 1260 yen. The dipping sauce is rich in dried fish flavor with plenty of toppings. The whole wheat noodles look delicious, almost like udon. The dipping sauce has just the right amount of dried fish flavor, making it easy to eat. The toppings like roast pork, baby corn, and shimeji mushrooms are best enjoyed by dipping them in the sauce. The noodles have a good texture, reminding me that noodles are the star of tsukemen. The amount of dipping sauce is quite small, so if you order a large portion, you won't be able to dip much towards the end. I wonder if there is a reason for this? There is a pot on the table for soup refills. The soup is made with bonito and dried fish, with a hint of yuzu. It's perfect for the hot summer.

I rarely visit Ikebukuro because it's not in my usual area, but I had to go there for something. The famous shops are all located away from the station, so I was unsure where to go and ended up walking slowly towards the northeast. The shop was run by just one person and seemed quite busy, but I didn't have to wait too long before my bowl arrived. The noodles were firm and the toppings were plentiful. The dipping sauce was quite traditional.

My companion had some business at Tobu Department Store, so we decided to go to Ikebukuro together. Their purpose was to find an outfit for an upcoming wedding, while my goal was to have ramen for lunch. The day before, I showed my companion the ramen rankings in Ikebukuro, and they chose today's destination, "Chisou Men Tanukian" based on that. We arrived at the restaurant at 1:00 PM. Despite many other eateries having no line, there were about 10 people waiting outside this one. We purchased our meal tickets and joined the queue. We were seated and served in about 20 minutes. - Rich dried fish tsukemen (large serving) 960 yen - Special version 300 yen The regular and large servings were priced the same. The menu had increased by 30 yen compared to the photos on Tabelog. The dipping sauce was served first. The special version came with a large serving of noodles (300g). Dipping sauce: The dipping sauce had a dried fish flavor, with a medium viscosity and no sharp taste, making it quite delicious. Noodles: The noodles were whole grain noodles from Mikawa-ya. They had an appetizing color but were not as chewy as expected, making them suitable for everyone. Ingredients: Thin slices of rare chashu, 2-3 pieces of chicken chashu, 3 sheets of seaweed, bamboo shoots, narutomaki, shimeji mushrooms, half a young corn, and a flavored egg. The chashu had no strong smell and was quite ordinary. The flavored egg was not well done. Overall, the dish was decent but nothing extraordinary. Ranked 4th in Ikebukuro's Tabelog rankings (score 3.71), I had high hopes, but it didn't quite meet my expectations.

I felt like eating delicious tsukemen on a cold night and decided to visit this restaurant. I chose the special tsukemen with a seafood base. The chashu was especially tasty when dipped in the soup. However, I found that the soup was not enough when I ordered the large serving. I had a feeling it was a bit on the small side from the moment it was served.

I used this ramen shop near the TOTO cinema. There is usually a long line, but on this day, we were able to get in quickly, probably because of the intense heat. The turnover is fast, so even if you have to wait in line, it doesn't seem to be a big problem. I ordered the special seafood and spicy ramen with dried fish. In conclusion, I realized the deliciousness of Tomita's ramen. The soup had green onions in it, but they disappeared early on, and the fish powder dissolved completely, so the texture accent was lacking. The noodles themselves are simple, so maybe that's why I felt that way. The spicy version is really spicy and delicious. However, personally, I prefer seafood over dried fish. The toppings, the egg's seasoning was not great, but the chashu was delicious.

It was just past 11 o'clock, so there were only about 3 customers ahead of me. As more people started coming in, I debated whether to go to another restaurant, but ended up rushing in and just managed to get a seat. I bought a ticket for the rich seafood dipping noodles (regular size) from the ticket machine and received my bowl in about 10 minutes. The thick noodles were well coated in the rich dipping sauce, and it was delicious. The yuzu citrus added to the soup also gave it a nice kick, making it tasty.

Ikebukuro has been redeveloped and some areas have become clean. I had tsukemen at Tanukian, a rich niboshi (dried sardine) tsukemen for 960 yen with free extra noodles. The soup was slightly lukewarm, and the thick noodles were dipped in it. The noodles had a square shape with a firm texture, and the way they soaked up the soup was amazing. The rich broth was perfectly condensed with niboshi flavor, but it didn't have any strong taste. There were two types of chashu, and I think it's best to let them soak in the warm soup before eating. Lastly, finishing with soup wari (diluting the soup with hot water) is a great way to end the meal.

I walked into the restaurant without waiting in the hot midday sun! I chose the rich dried fish broth tsukemen and waited for it to be ready with a portable fan in hand... The appearance of the finished dish was amazing! I couldn't help but slurp it up (laughs). It was delicious, delicious, delicious! I finished it in no time! I should have ordered a large portion. Regret (tears). The dipping soup with yuzu was also delicious. A place I want to visit again!

There are always delicious ramen shops near TOHO Cinemas, such as Gokan, Megumi, Ore no Sora, but today I was in the mood for tsukemen, so I went to Tanuki Ana. I ordered the fish and pork bone tsukemen using the top left rule on the ticket machine, priced at 960 yen for a regular size. The soup was thick and rich, with a nice fish and pork bone flavor without any unpleasant smell. The noodles were thick and had a strong wheat aroma. The roasted pork topping was tender and delicious. The young corn and shimeji mushrooms added a nice texture. The yuzu-flavored soup wari was a great way to change up the flavor. The interior was a bit dirty, but the deliciousness of the food made up for it.

Ikebukuro weekday lunch series. Today, I felt like eating at this restaurant and visited. I arrived around 12:15, a little late, so I thought it might be crowded, but surprisingly I was able to sit down right away. By the time I left, there was a waiting line, so maybe I was just lucky. I was unsure of what to order, but decided to try the large size of the mazesoba, which I had never had before. At this restaurant, the regular and large sizes are the same price, but there seems to be an additional charge for the mazesoba. It took about 10 minutes for the dish to arrive, and it looked a bit simpler than I had imagined mazesoba to be, with fewer toppings. When I tried it, the flavor was on the salty side, maybe from soy sauce. Mixing in the raw egg gave it a taste similar to sukiyaki ramen. Maybe it's just because it's mazesoba, but I feel like the delicate flavors of this restaurant didn't come through as much in this dish. Thank you for the meal.
