I went to Chifaja, an all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurant in Sanjo, Kyoto. The interior of the restaurant was a bit dark with distinctive bright red seats. I was surprised by the attention to detail in the interior design, which didn't seem like a typical all-you-can-eat restaurant. I ate a lot of meat and desserts. It's easy to overeat at all-you-can-eat places, haha. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I enjoyed a solo yakiniku meal at Chifaja near Kawaramachi Sanjo on the last day of February. I had the Light Course for 2300 yen (excluding tax), which included delicious cuts of meat like premium kalbi, Chifaja roast, salted tongue, thick-cut bacon, and more. I also enjoyed wrapping vegetables, grilled vegetables, tortillas, kimchi, kimchi bibimbap, and dessert which included shoe ice (vanilla, matcha), soft serve ice cream, French vanilla, and yuzu sherbet. It was delicious! I would love to go back again.

I used it for a company dinner party. All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink (^ ^) It's been a while since I came to Chifaja. I heard from an acquaintance that the condiment with green onions and lemon was delicious, but it seems like it's no longer available. It's a shame. The first thing that came out was a platter of meat. I couldn't really tell which was which (lol). The first thing that came out was beef tongue, but the additional tongue I ordered was pork tongue. Hmm, it was just okay. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.

I went without a reservation but was able to get in - Saturday evening. I ordered the 90-item all-you-can-eat option. The restaurant wasn't as spacious as I thought, and we were seated towards the back, so I was worried about whether the staff would come to take our orders. However, it wasn't necessary at all. There were always two staff members walking around the floor, clearing plates and asking if we wanted to order more. They also frequently replaced the grill. The meat was delicious, especially the chunk of meat that you cook and slice yourself (I don't know the name). I also enjoyed wrapping the meat in lettuce. Dessert was included, so I ordered soft serve ice cream to cleanse my palate. Since there was hardly any wait for meat, I was able to eat to my heart's content without any stress.

Ordered the Super Satisfied Course and Standard All-You-Can-Drink option. The Chifajatan (pork) and flavored roast (probably) are served first. You can only order up to three types of meat at a time. As for the taste, I didn't have high expectations since it was my first time at an all-you-can-eat yakiniku place, but it was surprisingly delicious. It cost a little over 3000 yen and we were able to enjoy soft serve ice cream at the end, so my friend and I were satisfied. However, the time limit is 90 minutes with the last order at 70 minutes, so you can't really have a leisurely conversation (laughs). The time between ordering and the food arriving at the table is quite fast, especially for the first order. Overall, we didn't feel like we were kept waiting at all. Lastly, the staff were very friendly and had a constant smile on their faces.

Located along Kawaramachi street, this popular yakiniku chain is easily accessible. The spacious floor on the second floor is great for couples or groups, as the partitions can be removed. You can choose from all-you-can-eat courses, starting from 1980 yen. It is recommended to upgrade to the next tier if you want a wider variety of options. For just an additional 1000 yen, you can enjoy a wider selection of meats, vegetables, and side dishes. Although it may be a bit noisy with young people, this is a great place to enjoy yakiniku casually.

This restaurant is called the main store, but I have only been to this location. It's a bit confusing as you have to take an elevator up to get inside the store. The main feature is that it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant and it's very cheap, but the taste is not terrible. Sometimes they serve only oily meat, but I like the harami here. They often host parties, so it can get noisy at times, so be aware of that. It's a good place if you want to eat a lot of meat for a low price.
