I visited RAMEN GOTTSU, located a few minutes' walk from Nerima Station North Exit on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. It seems to be run by a husband and wife. It was a three-day weekend lunchtime, and there was a line of about three people outside the store. There was a variety of customers, including families, couples, and elderly individuals, creating a lively atmosphere. There are a few bicycle parking spaces in front of the store, so it's okay to come by bike, but there is no parking lot, which reflects the characteristics of the location. The store has a stylish exterior sign and decorations inside, creating a nice atmosphere. The menu includes ramen, chuka soba, tsukemen, abura soba, kids' ramen, and rice dishes. I ordered the recommended ramen for 950 yen. After waiting outside for about 10 minutes, I was guided to buy a meal ticket and wait outside again. The store has only 8 seats at an L-shaped counter. The wife of the owner was very efficient, handling various tasks in the kitchen and serving customers, ensuring a smooth operation. The interior of the store is cool with good air conditioning, and there is self-service water and condiments on the tables. The ramen was served in a thick porcelain bowl, with a rich soup made from bonito, chicken, and pork. The noodles were medium-thin, and the toppings included chicken and pork chashu, thick menma, grated yuzu, green onions, and seaweed, creating a colorful bowl. The soup had a high viscosity and a strong acidity that was balanced out by the grated yuzu, enhancing the overall flavor. The noodles were smooth and easy to eat, and the balance of flavors from the bonito, chicken, and pork was excellent. The finely sliced green onions added a unique texture and the chashu was tender and flavorful. The oversized menma was a delight for menma lovers, and the seaweed complemented the rich soup perfectly. Overall, the ramen was delicious, and the stylish ambiance, excellent service, and flavorful ramen make this a popular spot worth visiting.
