I went looking for smoked dishes, but to my surprise, the smoker was broken today and they couldn't make any. It was quite a shock! The burrata was frozen and crunchy, the aioli had cold shrimp. It was full of things that were unbelievable. The restaurant was stylish, but the taste was disappointing.

We made a reservation through the company and visited the restaurant with 6 people. It was an Italian restaurant with a lively atmosphere and mostly female customers. We ordered a variety of dishes including smoked bacon, Margherita pizza, Bismarck pizza, shrimp ajillo, shrimp tomato cream pasta, sausage platter, fried potatoes, omelette, and draft beer. Everything was delicious and we ordered a lot, but managed to finish everything! We will definitely go back again!

The restaurant advertises horse meat on their menu, but when asked, it seems like it's not just sold out but actually removed from the menu. Despite having more staff than customers, there are occasional mistakes with orders. The last pasta order was forgotten and I wanted to cancel it. There is no changing room, so the staff changes in the restroom. The cocktails are not mixed well, with the alcohol and mixers clearly separated into layers. There are no stirrers, so we have to mix it with chopsticks every time. The taste of the food is decent, but there are some things that need improvement.

The crowd was just right. The menu was extensive and the horse sashimi was delicious! However, the chairs at the table were high and difficult to move, and the tables were small, which was a drawback. The access from Karasuma was good, and the wine was also delicious. I would like to go back to eat horse sashimi again.

I visited this restaurant for dinner on the weekend. I made a reservation online one hour before visiting. I had heard it was a cloud cuisine, so I had an image of a traditional Japanese-style izakaya in my mind, but I was surprised when I entered the restaurant. The interior was stylish, more like an Italian or Spanish bar. The customers there were mostly in their 20s to early 30s, relatively young. The interior had a few small table seats right at the entrance, but it turned out to be quite spacious with over 10 tables. Both the horse sashimi and horse meat bolognese were excellent! They were extremely delicious. The location in Karasuma is very convenient, so I plan to go back again!

The second party was held at an Italian bar specializing in horse meat that opened just last autumn. We met up with colleagues after work and toasted with draft beer. The restaurant was bustling with many customers. We enjoyed the all-you-can-drink menu, starting with "Pacalo Potato Salad." Next, we had "Horse and Chicken Liver Sautéed in Salty Sesame Oil." Then, we tried the "Pacalo Instant Smoked Camembert." The main dish was the "Horse Sashimi Assortment," which was easy to eat without any strong flavors. We also had "Soft-Boiled Anchovy Egg" and "Diced Beef Red Meat Cut Steak." For dessert, we had the "Horse Meat Bolognese." It was a delightful and delicious time spent with friends we hadn't seen in a while. Thank you for the meal.

Three friends went to a horse meat specialty restaurant. When we arrived at 5:00, it was empty, but by around 6:00, it was almost full. We ordered horse meat sashimi, horse heart sashimi in a salty sesame oil glass with salt around the rim, horse meat bolognese which tasted like regular pasta, horse fillet steak which was lean and tender, pacalo potato salad, fresh mushroom salad with arugula, horse meat sashimi assortment which was all delicious and easy to eat, horse meat croquette, cacio e pepe pasta, arrabbiata pasta which was slightly spicy, homemade pudding, rich cheesecake, and smoked cheesecake. The cheesecakes were so delicious, we didn't mind the lack of noticeable flavor change in the smoked one. Overall, we had a great time.

On Friday night, the day before my day off on Saturday, I went to a horse meat bar that opened near my workplace with my horse-loving friend Moegurumen! Cheers to the weekend with a Corona beer for 500 yen! My junior colleague opted for the Namisparakuringuwain white for 700 yen, which was poured generously to the brim. We started with a horse sashimi platter for 1480 yen, which included five different cuts of horse meat. We added the Ichibo for 590 yen, which was delicious and fresh, sweet yet refreshing. We were in heaven! The Smoked Mackerel for 380 yen came with a smoky presentation that added to the experience. It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with a wonderful smoky aroma. The Smoked Quail for 280 yen was equally amazing, with a delightful crumble and rich flavor. The Horse Liver and Heart with Salty Sesame Oil for 990 yen were superb, with a tender texture and a flavor that made the sake go down smoothly. The Ham Cut from the Original Log for 980 yen was thick and soft, with a delicious olive oil drizzle that enhanced the taste. We couldn't resist ordering the Super Garlic Toast for 380 yen, which was topped with a garlic butter that was addictively tasty. The Smoked Platter for 1280 yen included a variety of smoked items that were all delicious, especially the cream cheese with honey and smoked flavors. We also tried the French Chicken Nanban for 680 yen, which had a crispy texture, a generous amount of egg, and a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. We decided to try the Sakura Yukke for 980 yen, which had a rich yolk color but was not as delicious as the sashimi version. Finally, we ended our meal with the Smoked Cheesecake for 480 yen, which had a strong smoky aroma and a unique dessert experience. Overall, the horse sashimi, smoked items, ham with garlic toast, and the French Chicken Nanban were particularly outstanding. The restaurant is perfect for a casual drink, and I will definitely be back for more!

Of course, you can enjoy horse sashimi, as well as creative dishes that go well with wine! What I had: - Assorted horse sashimi Seven different cuts to enjoy, all very fresh and delicious. Personal favorite is the mane. - Horse liver & chicken liver salted with sesame oil. I love raw liver, and this dish was irresistible. Wanted to have seconds. - Sakura Yukke, so creamy ✨ - Instant smoked egg, thick-cut bacon, mozzarella cheese. The smoky aroma was amazing. Instant smoking is great for adding a smoky flavor to raw ingredients. - Limited quantity horse tenderloin steak. Cooked rare, tender and easy to eat. Just delicious! Wanted to have more. - Horse meat Bolognese. Generous portion of horse meat, very filling. - Hand-cut raw ham. Also very delicious. - Seasonal vegetables with raclette cheese. I went to Kyoto to try horse sashimi! It was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures. The smoked horse meat was also tasty, especially the horse liver which I ended up getting seconds of. There are still more dishes I want to try, so I would love to go back again!

I forgot to take a picture of the main dish, horse sashimi, but it was delicious, similar to a famous horse sashimi restaurant in Kumamoto. The horse sashimi yukhoe was also very tasty, using high-quality meat. The smoked dishes may depend on personal preference, but they weren't to my liking. The dessert was delicious and rich. The main issues with this restaurant are its hard-to-find location and the fact that they tend to run out of dishes, even as early as 8 pm. Despite this, I will definitely visit again for the delicious horse meat.

Opened on October 26, 2022, visited on October 27, 2022 ■ COVID-19 measures Staff wearing masks ■ Seating arrangement Counter seats near the entrance, but we were guided to a table at the back for four people. From what I saw passing by, there were two six-person tables and maybe three four-person tables. ■ Atmosphere Quite lively and noisy inside. The clientele consisted of 80% men and 20% women. ■ Ordering method Ordering is done by scanning a QR code on the receipt brought by the staff using a smartphone. ■ Payment Although it says table payment, it is inconvenient that you cannot request payment through the ordering system or call a staff member. ■ Items ordered Started with two recommended dishes: - Pacalo Potato Salad: Fluffy pecorino cheese on top of the potato salad with a delicious egg yolk in the center. The flavor is slightly stronger than expected, maybe because it is meant to be paired with alcohol? - Horse Meat Raw Liver and Low-Temperature Cooked Chicken Liver: Served in a jar with plenty of sesame oil and salt on the rim for dipping. The staff explained how to eat it. I chose this restaurant based on the recommendation of horse meat raw liver on Instagram, but I didn't realize there was also chicken liver available. The raw meat, presumably horse meat, was delicious like beef liver, but the crumbled one, possibly chicken, was bitter and made me feel unwell. I made a mistake in ordering, not knowing which one was recommended. I then added: - Horse Tongue: This took about 20 minutes to prepare after ordering, but it was delicious with a good amount of fat. Still feeling a bit bitter in my mouth, I decided to ask for the bill and had to wait quite a while to find a staff member for payment.

The first drink was ordered in person, but after that, ordering was done through a QR code system, which made the process smooth. However, it was a bit disappointing to be told that the last order was at 9:00 pm when we arrived at 8:00 pm for our reservation. The restaurant's website stated that the last order was at 10:00 pm, so it would have been better if they had communicated this information clearly beforehand.

I ordered the course meal. The overall taste was average, but surprisingly, a simple pasta dish made only with cheese was delicious and I was surprised! This cheese pasta has a taste that cannot be replicated at home.
