While strolling through the alley, I found this shop and was drawn in by the takoyaki. The fact that they serve alcohol was also appealing. I decided to take a break in the eat-in area and ordered a lime chu-hi. It was especially delicious as it was chilled on such a hot day. As I enjoyed my drink, piping hot takoyaki arrived. The idea of being able to eat the takoyaki with just a plate and spoon was very eco-friendly and I heard it was even featured on TV. The Gion-yaki I tried for the first time had a flavorful broth in the batter, making it delicious even without any additional toppings. Of course, it paired perfectly with the sauce, mayonnaise, and green onions. Takoyaki always tastes so good with alcohol, I wonder why. I love takoyaki shops that serve alcohol. This one is located near Yasaka Shrine. Thank you for the meal.
