The Danish pastry priced at 500 yen is worth every penny and will blow away any doubts you may have. The crispy and crunchy texture of the pastry is outstanding! It's explosively delicious. The Danish pastry dough alone is so tasty that it stands as a delicious baked treat on its own. The shop has restrictions on the number of customers allowed inside, and there is a self-service checkout system for cash payments only. The receipt lists the items using abbreviated names. The bakery offers a variety of pastries, from Danish pastries to baguette sandwiches, and they tend to sell out quickly, especially in the afternoon. The bread is slightly sweet and fragrant when toasted. The Croissant Cupid is incredibly tasty, especially when reheated. The Danish pastry with pears is a must-try, with a rich custard cream and thick slices of juicy pears. The Berry and Chocolate Danish pastry is also delicious, with a mix of berries and chocolate inside. The Coffee Curry Bread has a flavorful curry filling with a slow, spicy kick. Overall, every item I tried was outstanding, especially the seasonal Danish pastries. I highly recommend trying them.

The shop Croissant has a cozy atmosphere with a more relaxed vibe than expected. The croissants have a crispy crust on the outside and a moist inside. The seasonal limited edition chestnut and red bean with black sesame has a crunchy texture with plenty of chestnuts. The quiche has a comforting homemade taste with broccoli, bacon, and cheese.

Visited on Sunday at 12:30 pm. I was a bit late, but managed to secure the last peach Danish, baguette, and avocado chicken sandwich. The croissant was already sold out. You tell the staff what you want, they put it aside for you. Payment is done through a machine, and you pack the items in bags yourself on a counter. Quality and price are not balanced in a good way at this shop. It's in a price range similar to a high-end bakery in a slightly upscale town. But true to its artisan name, the bread is full of craftsmanship, quality, and charm that you can't resist. Some may mention a slight tension in the service, but there is an undeniable charm. I really want to go back every week. The items I purchased this time are: - Seasonal Danish (peach) 490 yen: The deliciousness of the dough is impressive. Light, crispy, and not greasy. The balance of sweetness is perfect with the fruit's sweetness and freshness preserved. While it's also delicious with orange or apricot, I think the thick peach is the best. - Coffee curry bread 280 yen: Not greasy due to the sparse breadcrumbs. The curry has a good depth without being too spicy. The slightly sweet coffee flavor in the moist dough is impressive. Hard to believe it's less than 300 yen. - Baguette Tradition 290 yen: Crispy crust with a slightly acidic aroma. Natural wheat-colored crumb that is moist and full of flavor. A rich taste that goes well with meals without being overwhelming. - Fruit & walnut bread 530 yen: Plenty of raisins and walnuts, with a balanced sweetness between the fruit and a slight acidity. A good match with butter or cream cheese. - Avocado chicken sandwich 550 yen: Made with a softer baguette, easy to eat with a moist crumb. Smoked chicken with a hint of mustard is delicious, and the avocado is mashed with a grainy texture and flavor variation. Each item lived up to its appearance and was delicious. Overall, I find them to have a rustic flavor. The affordable prices are also pleasing. Can't help but hope for the return of the perfect deli set for wine pairings that used to be available.

It is located a 2.3-minute walk from Okusawa Station. When you leave the station, turn left, pass through what seems to be a shopping street arcade, and it will be on your left. During this time of year, carrying fruit or cream-based desserts can be risky, so I bought an apple pie that I could take home. When I entered the store, there was one male staff member. Taking photos inside the store is prohibited. There was a rope hanging about 50 centimeters in front of the showcase, making it difficult to get close. The variety of bread seemed a bit limited. The prices were average. The payment was automated and convenient!
Order - Apple Pie 330 yen. The apple comes out juicy as soon as you bite into it. The crust is moist and crispy, with a slight lack of buttery taste and a hint of burnt flavor, making it easy to eat.
Cost performance: Normal

Visited before 11:00 AM, 1 customer, no waiting. About 1/3 of the pastries are Danish-style, 1/3 are sausage-based. Other options include plain bread, raisin bread, and sandwiches in the refrigerated case. Overall, there are few varieties of bread, and there are not many appealing options, which is a shame. Transparent bags cost 5 yen.

I finished work early in Jiyugaoka and joined my colleagues who were going to a famous bakery near Okusawa Station. The bakery was small with a nice selection of pastries. I bought a "Pain au Chocolat," a "Melon Bread," and an "Anpan." The Melon Bread smelled amazing and had just the right amount of sweetness, making it delicious.

Pampampampam! Seeking delicious bread, I visited Cupido for the first time! Located in Okusawa, the area around Okusawa station was quiet with a peaceful shopping street. After a short walk, I found the shop! Visiting in the afternoon, it had a calm atmosphere which was nice. I bought a melon bread, delicious! I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Artisan Boulangerie Cupidon in Okusawa is a place I visit monthly to go to Yakitori Uno, but it has been a while since I went for another purpose. It's just a short walk from Okusawa to Jiyugaoka, so I decided to have some food there. When I was in junior high and high school, I used to hang out in Jiyugaoka a lot during the day. I would sit on a bench on the south entrance green path, reminisce about the past, and enjoy some bread with a can of beer. In those days, after strolling around Jiyugaoka with girls or friends, we would go to a café, act cool, and order alcohol. I would turn bright red as soon as I started drinking, I was such an embarrassment... Back then, I truly wished for a body that wouldn't turn red after just one drink. Today, I probably won't turn red with just one can of beer. Now, I am an old man who often dines alone. I have acquired the body that I wanted so desperately back then since it's no longer needed. It's funny how things don't always go as planned (laughs).
Coffee Curry Bread 270 yen: The deep-fried curry bread that has been around since long ago is now flavored with coffee. You can taste the bitterness of the coffee, making it possibly the best one today.
Croissant 250 yen: Standard level of deliciousness, felt good.
Dolce Steamed Red Bean Bun 340 yen: The crispy texture with figs and walnuts in the red bean paste was amazing. It was delicious where the red bean paste at the edge was slightly burnt. There were many reasonably priced items in the 200-300 yen range, and they also had some unique and distinctive choices. It's a charming bakery that I would like to revisit someday. Thank you for the meal.

The exterior of the shop as well as the interior exuded an antique charm, and the owner was also lovely. They had a wide variety of items, and this time I tried the seasonal apricot danish, apple pie, sweet red bean dessert, quiche, and lemon ricotta with a sprinkle of pepper at the end, which was a clever touch. The pies in particular are delicious.

- Croissant - Apricot and Cream Cheese Danish
This bakery offers a wide variety of Danish pastries. There were many colorful Danishes lined up. The dough is very delicious! In particular, the crispy and chewy texture of the Danish is addictive. The combination of apricot and cream cheese is also delicious~

Located about 3 minutes from Okusawa Station, this bakery has received the prestigious title of Top 100 Bread Shops for five consecutive years, with a current rating of 3.77. The croissant (250 yen) and Apricot & Cream Cheese (490 yen) are highly recommended, along with the Mixed Berry (490 yen) and the Apple Pie (310 yen). Situated in a chic and peaceful neighborhood near stations like Denenchofu and Jiyugaoka, the atmosphere is delightful. Be aware that the shop is closed for an hour between 14:00 and 15:00 for their "Idol Time". The Mixed Berry bread is a delightful combination of blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, offering a sweet and tangy flavor that customers love. The croissant is praised for its crispy texture and delightful aroma. Remember that photography inside the store is not allowed. Overall, it's a must-visit bakery in Okusawa.

Whether it's the Dolce Koshi An or the croissant, this restaurant in Okusawa offers high-quality treats. I love the Dolce Koshi An, which has a crispy pastry filled with red bean paste, figs, and walnuts. The croissant is also delicious, with a fragrant buttery taste and a crispy yet chewy texture. It's definitely one of the best croissants I've ever had.

Classic music and a sophisticated interior. I visited this place looking forward to Danish pastries and croissants after reading reviews. The selection was limited. Purchased items: Croissant ¥250, Seasonal Danish (apricot and cream cheese) ¥490, Sausage Dog ¥390, Piroshki ¥250, Total: ¥1,380 - Cash only. Prices felt reasonable. Located a 2-minute walk from Okusawa Station on the Tokyu Meguro Line is the renowned bakery "Artisan Boulangerie Cupid." Upon arrival at 10:30 am on a weekday, the store had one customer already inside with no one waiting. Photography inside the store is prohibited. Customers select their desired items, which are then bagged by the staff, and payment is made at the semi-self checkout counter. I purchased the following items: Piroshki for 250 yen, Seasonal Danish for 490 yen, and Lemon Ricotta for 390 yen. The Piroshki is filled with plenty of ground meat and fried at a low temperature to prevent burning. The Seasonal Danish features custard cream, strawberries, and blueberries on Danish pastry. The Lemon Ricotta is a bread with a hollow filled with custard cream and topped with thinly sliced lemon, offering a delightful balance of lemon acidity and custard cream sweetness. Overall, it was a delicious dining experience.

At Artisan Boulangerie Cupidon in Okusawa, I enjoyed various types of pastries like the swirl waffle sugar, pear pistachio & chocolate, maple strawberry nut pie. The swirl waffle sugar was simple yet delicious with a perfect balance of sweetness. The pear pistachio & chocolate was fantastic with a generous amount of pear, complemented by the harmonious blend of pistachio and chocolate. The maple strawberry nut pie was outstanding, with a perfect balance of strawberry acidity and maple sweetness. The pastries were light, crispy, and incredibly enjoyable.
