Whenever I think of trying other ramen, I always end up lining up for this (laughs). This time, they had a new premium tsukemen at Rokurinsha, so I didn't hesitate to order it. It costs 1080 yen including tax. The dipping sauce here is rich but not too heavy. The viscosity is just right, making it delicious until the last bite. Truly the pinnacle of tsukemen. The premium version allows you to enjoy three flavors: the popular fresh shichimi pepper used in the "Hell Fire" ramen, spiciness, and citrus. The order in which you add them changes the way you enjoy it. First, I added the fresh shichimi pepper to elevate my already maximum appetite with its high-quality acidity. After eating about a third, I added the spiciness. It's quite hot, so I added about half. Spicy, tasty, spicy! For the remaining third, I squeezed some sudachi. With the addition of rich flavors and two types of acidity and spiciness, it was a satisfying bowl until the end. Of course, I also poured the remaining soup and drank it. I wish they would open one near my local station (laughs). Thank you for the meal!

- Morning Seven Spice Tsukemen (Regular) 840 yen I arrived at Tokyo Station early in the morning on a night bus from Osaka with a nearly flat seat that reclines up to 156 degrees, and spacious curtains that create a private room with only 1+1 seating. Even though I had about 1.5 round trips on the shinkansen worth of time, it didn't feel long as I slept throughout the journey. I had been thinking about having breakfast at the izakaya in Yaesu that I saw on a TV show, but then I remembered that Ramen shop Rokurinsha had a morning service. I looked it up and found out they opened at 7:30 am! It was still around 7:00 am when I headed to the shop, but there was already a line forming outside. Everyone was early! Since there were only a few people lined up at that time, I joined the end of the line. The shop opened at 7:30 am, and as soon as the shutters were lifted, we entered and purchased our meal tickets before queuing. I decided to try the Morning Seven Spice Tsukemen, which is a light type of Tsukemen with special morning noodles and soup. Rokurinsha has been around for over 15 years, and I remember lining up to eat at their old location in Osaki. It doesn't seem like that old shop is listed on Tabelog anymore; it's probably a different one from their current Osaki branch. I recall experiencing their system of calling out orders all at once for the first time here. The soup had yuzu powder in it, which was unusual, and I still remember that. This might have been my first time having Tsukemen at Rokurinsha? Now, the Morning Seven Spice Tsukemen has arrived. The staff advised us to "mix the fresh shichimi with the noodles before eating." I had thought the fresh shichimi would go into the soup, so this guidance was appreciated. Despite not being a big fan of Tsukemen because the soup is usually too strong for me, Rokurinsha's morning Tsukemen was very easy to eat, being of the lighter variety. The fresh shichimi added on top with shiso leaves made it refreshing. Of course, I mixed in the yuzu powder. I was able to enjoy delicious Tsukemen from the morning! Thank you for the meal!

Second visit! On the way back from a Tokyo business trip, I made a detour with the same colleague as last time. When we arrived, there was a 30-minute wait! Surprisingly, it wasn't very crowded, so we decided to line up without hesitation. This time, I ordered the tsukemen with flavored boiled egg! Here it is! It's delicious as always. I've tried several different tsukemen places, but I think this one is the best! It has a seafood flavor, but it's not overpowering, and the umami taste comes through nicely. It's not too heavy, and I enjoyed it until the last bite. The noodles are just the right thickness and go well with the soup. I definitely want to stop by here whenever I'm in Tokyo Station.

At Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit underground Ramen Street, there was already a 45-minute wait line by 11:00. Seeing the sign, I understood that the store opened at 10:00, so it made sense. In reality, the wait was only 30 minutes to get in. Before entering, we had to purchase food tickets with the guidance of the staff. I ordered the raw seven-spice tsukemen without checking other menu options. I was seated within 2-3 minutes and the food was served quickly. The thick noodles soaked in rich and fragrant dipping sauce, cooled with cold water, were excellent and well-coated. A classic but flawless taste that left me fully satisfied. Mixing in the raw seven-spice added another pleasant aroma and increased my appetite. The portion of noodles might be slightly too much for women. I believe it is worth the wait! 🏃‍♂️

We visited as a family of four (with two children). We were asked to split into two groups, with one parent and one child in each group. Two of us were led to a table first, and the remaining two were seated at a table for four when it became available. In other restaurants, we would have been seated together as a family of four, but due to the crowd we dined separately. While it's understandable that it was busy, I couldn't help but feel that in other places they might have been more considerate. The noodles were thick and there was a large portion, so I wish they offered smaller portions as well.

On a weekend in mid-September, I visited in the morning. There were 26 customers waiting before me and 15 customers waiting as I left. I decided to have breakfast here before a sauna event in Tokyo. This was my first visit in about 8 years. The ramen street in the early morning was quiet, but there was a line forming here. The turnover was fast though. The store had many foreign customers as well. I was prompted to buy a meal ticket. I chose the option on the top left of the LCD ticket machine. I was quickly guided to a counter seat. The staff asked if I wanted to use a paper apron. The service was reliable. There were 2 male staff members in the store, and the kitchen was not visible. It took about 30 minutes from my arrival to when the ramen was served. The turnover was fast, so waiting in line wasn't bad. I was directed to use a pot for adding soup to the noodles. First, I tried the noodles. They were thick and straight noodles with low water content. You could sense the time from boiling to serving, but the texture and flavor of the noodles were good. The amount of noodles felt like about 220g. Next, I tried the dipping sauce on its own. It had a rich flavor with a good balance of saltiness and sweetness. Although it wasn't very concentrated, it had a deep umami taste. I think it falls under the category of pork and seafood broth, but it was delicious without being overpowering. When I dipped the noodles in the sauce, the high viscosity of the sauce made lifting the noodles gentle, allowing the flavor of the noodles to shine. The toppings included raw seven spice powder, shiso, chashu, menma, nori, negi, and naruto. The raw seven spice powder had a sour and green spicy flavor, which served as a great accent when eaten with just the noodles or with the sauce. The melt-in-your-mouth chashu was tender and flavorful. The menma had a crunchy texture. The nori was enjoyable when wrapped around the noodles. The roughly chopped negi added a refreshing touch as a condiment. On the table, there was fish powder, black roasted seven spice powder, citrus vinegar, and more. Sprinkling the fish powder, black roasted seven spice powder, and remaining raw seven spice powder on the noodles added layers of flavor without spoiling the original taste. Adding citrus vinegar along with shiso provided a refreshing flavor change. Lastly, I tried the soup base on the table. The light and clear kelp-based soup base was extremely hot and the abundance of negi enhanced its satisfaction. It seemed like there was a lot of negi to increase the satisfaction of the soup base! I finished it all in no time. It was still delicious, a luxurious morning dipping ramen meal. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't expect to find a ramen alley underground at a location directly connected to Tokyo Station. Every ramen shop had long lines, but the line at this particular shop was especially long, and I waited eagerly. I tried two types of tsukemen, and both were delicious with unique flavors. I particularly enjoyed the yuzu-flavored seasoning, which added a special touch to the dish. The noodle portion was generous, so I think the regular size would be enough for women or those with small appetites.

- Name: Ramen Tokyo Top 100 ☆3.79 - Location: Inside JR Tokyo Station Ramen Street - Visiting time: 10:55, waited in line, started eating after 30 minutes - Reservation: Not available - Order: A la carte - Special dipping noodles (large serving): Quite rich and flavorful. The soup sticks well to the noodles! There are yuzu powder and vinegar on the table, so I didn't get tired of it until the end! - Seasonal citrus (sudachi on that day): Squeezing it in towards the end made it refreshing! - Impression: Waited 30 minutes from lining up before 11 am to starting to eat. By before 12 pm, the line had more than doubled, so it's wise to go during off-peak times. It was a bit too rich for me, but I think I would have enjoyed it if I were 10 years younger! LOL

"Rokurinsha" located in Ramen Street inside Tokyo Station is a popular restaurant selected as one of the top 100 ramen shops in Tokyo. I visited around 8:30 pm on a Friday. I haven't eaten at physical restaurants much lately as I've been using Uber more often. There was a long line that extended towards the exit, and I waited for about 25 minutes. There were many foreign customers, adding to the lively atmosphere. I purchased "tsukemen (dipping noodles) regular" (940 yen) from the ticket machine in front of the store and sat at the counter. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the tsukemen was served. The rich seafood broth paired with chewy noodles was consistently delicious. Mixing fish powder into the soup enhanced the flavor and depth of the dish. The chashu (pork slices) was flavorful and tender, complementing the noodles and soup well. I still believe that Rokurinsha's tsukemen is of high quality. While tsukemen from Rokurinsha is already delicious at home, eating at the physical store adds a vibrant atmosphere that makes it even more enjoyable. I plan on lining up and eating here occasionally in the future."

A famous restaurant located in Tokyo Station's Ramen Street. Even on weekdays, it gets crowded before noon, so be prepared to wait for over 30 minutes. However, the turnover of customers is very fast, so the actual wait time is shorter than expected. Recommended order is the Special Tsukemen for 1140 yen. Most customers order the tsukemen, which comes in three variations: Special, Ajitama, and Regular. The Special Tsukemen includes thick slices of chashu pork and a flavorful marinated egg that is perfectly runny. The noodles and soup are both excellent, with a well-established taste. The broth, which is a blend of fish and pork flavors, is slightly lighter compared to other fish-based tonkotsu broths. Highly recommended for passing time at Tokyo Station!

I had high expectations for the special tsukemen, but the actual experience didn't leave me as impressed as I had hoped. It was still delicious though. I didn't quite understand the purpose of the minced meat-like topping in the soup. Personally, I prefer Sharyo.

Specialty dipping noodles large size 1240 yen Freshly grated seven-spice blend 100 yen Arrived before 6:00 PM on a weekday, 8 people in line. Received the dish in 20-30 minutes. The dipping sauce has a good balance of animal and seafood elements, with a slightly thick viscosity. It has a slightly strong umami taste. The noodles are medium-thick, straight, with a firm texture and a good wheat aroma. The pork belly char siu is delicious when mixed with the noodles. The freshly grated seven-spice blend adds a nice flavor of seaweed and is a must-try topping. Although there may be a long line, there are plenty of seats and the operation is efficient, so you can eat relatively quickly.

I visited around 10:30 on a regular day. Despite being early, there was already a line of about 20 people. Tsukemen is the most popular in Tokyo Station Ramen Street. However, the turnover is fast, so I was seated in about 15 minutes, and the noodles came in about 10 minutes. Since it was my first time, I ordered the classic "Ajitama Tsukemen (regular size ¥1,040)". First, the noodles were thick and curly, with a good chewiness and a prominent wheat flavor. The soup is a rich pork bone broth with a hint of fish powder, creating a complex yet rich flavor. The rich soup entwined with the thick noodles creates an exquisite taste. It's delicious when you eat the noodles thoroughly immersed in the soup. Enjoying flavor changes with yuzu powder and citrus vinegar on the table is also fun. The roasted pork and bamboo shoots in the toppings harmonized well with the rich soup. It was a regular size, but I finished it in no time.

Tokyo Tsukemen standard shop known for its super rich soup - Waiting time: 45 minutes, visit on Sunday at 11:45 Rokurinsha is known for its super rich soup, considered the standard of Tokyo tsukemen. Located in Tokyo Ramen Street on the B1F of Tokyo Station, the restaurant always has long lines. Even arriving before 12 o'clock, there was still nearly an hour wait. Once you reach the front of the line, you will be prompted by the staff to purchase a meal ticket. Rokurinsha is said to have sparked the trend of rich soup that has become popular nationwide. The soup, a combination of pork bone, chicken bone, and seafood flavors, is consistently delicious. - Special Tsukemen (Regular): 1140 yen Soup: Pork bone, fish broth Noodles: Thick noodles Toppings: Chashu pork, shredded pork, bamboo shoots, seaweed, fish powder, green onions, narutomaki, egg The thick noodles with rich and creamy soup is always a winning combination. The special option comes with a generous amount of toppings, making it very satisfying. To finish, there is a refreshing yuzu-flavored diluted soup that you can add to adjust the richness of the soup, providing a two-stage enjoyment of finishing the meal. Personally, I prefer to have a stronger flavor with less dilution when enjoying the diluted soup. _________________ instagram: 66shuki Twitter: 66shuki TikTok: 66shuki _________________

I went around 4:30 pm and found a line of about 10 people outside already. However, I was able to get inside in about 20 minutes due to the fast turnover. As it was my first time, I ordered the most popular tsukemen. The thick curly noodles paired perfectly with the rich fish broth. The hot chashu was not as heavy as it looked, allowing me to enjoy the sweetness of the fat.

As the fifth stop on the Tokyo Ramen Street, I tried the morning limited menu at "Rokurinsha" from 7:30am to 9:30am. I arrived at 8:40am and waited 20 minutes in line before being seated. Surprisingly, there was quite a line even early in the morning, but that's the reputation of "Rokurinsha" for you. I ordered the "Morning Tsukemen Large Size with Menma". I started by eating it as is. The dipping sauce had a gentle, sweet seafood broth flavor with a touch of pork bone soy sauce, which was quite nice. The toppings included pork chashu, white onions, menma, naruto, and nori. When I had it during lunchtime, the flavors seemed richer, but perhaps it's because it's the morning tsukemen, it tasted more refreshing. The thick wheat noodles had a greyish tint and a strong wheat flavor, with a delightful chewy texture. They paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. I then added plenty of "Special Roasted Seven Spice Black" to the soup. Oh, the refreshing spiciness enhanced by the fragrance of sansho pepper transformed the flavor into a crisp and satisfying one. This is delicious. Adding "Special Roasted Seven Spice Black" really completes the taste. I finished by mixing in the soup. It was a fantastic meal. Thank you. Known for creating a style with a rich soup and super thick noodles, "Rokurinsha" is a top ramen shop in Japan that never disappoints its customers. September 9, 2023, Tokyo Ramen Street, Rokurinsha.

✴️Rokurasha✴️ Recommended tsukemen ramen shop located on B1F of Tokyo Station! I stopped by for a late breakfast after 10:00, and despite the time, there was already a line forming (-.-;) The ramen had a seafood-based broth, which isn't usually my favorite, but it was incredibly rich and flavorful, especially with the thick noodles. I highly recommend adding the spicy condiment on top for an extra kick! (☝︎ ՞ਊ ՞)☝️

I came here because I wanted to eat it after a long time. I arrived before 3 pm but there were about 20 people waiting in line. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I went to the ticket machine without hesitation and ordered the special large tsukemen (1140 yen). I forgot when I last came, but it seems like the price has gone up. (I think the special large was 1100 yen before.) Well, it's the trend of the times, I guess. If it's a 40 yen increase, I think it's reasonable. I received my bowl in about 15 minutes. Huh? Was the presentation always this sloppy? Is this also the trend of the times? After taking a bite and confirming that it's still delicious, I finally felt relieved. The thick noodles go well with the thick dipping sauce. It's really delicious! I heard the staff and a customer talking behind me that the special large is supposed to be 900g. (It doesn't seem like that much to me though.) It disappeared in no time. But the dipping sauce was just enough. (The amount of dipping sauce has decreased. Before, there was no option to increase the amount of dipping sauce on the ticket machine, and it was impossible for the special large to have just enough dipping sauce.) It had been a while since I last came, and I felt various changes in the trend, but I'm glad the taste hasn't changed. I want to come back soon. Thank you for the meal!

Located about 3 minutes from Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit, the notable tsukemen restaurant Rokurinsha is visited for the first time. Despite the 30-person line at 11 am on a weekday, I decide to trust the 45-minute wait time shown on the floor sticker and line up. It takes me 35 minutes to reach the ticket machine and then another 10 minutes to be seated. The turnover rate is impressive. - Tsukemen Large: ¥1040 Noodles: Slightly wavy, somewhat soft standard type noodles. Oh no, I accidentally ordered the large size after a long time! The perceived noodle amount is around 300 grams, making me full. Dipping Sauce: A tonkotsu fish combination, well-balanced broth with a slight acidity. When diluted, it becomes refreshing. Toppings: Very simple toppings of green onions, chashu, narutomaki. The chashu is tender, while the green onions should be enjoyed with the dipping sauce. This high-traffic spot with plenty of tourists and carry-on luggage has a diverse international customer base. The operational efficiency focused on speed is commendable. I even taught a Chinese family sitting next to me how to dilute the soup. Feeling accomplished before noon, let's tackle the rest of the day! Thank you for the meal!

At Tokyo Station, I often wander around the Yaesu side, and this particular shop stands out with its long lines. Every time I passed by, there was always a long queue, making me hesitant to go in. This time, as I had some time before my Shinkansen departure, I decided to visit. I joined the line around 11 AM on a weekday, and at that point, the estimated wait time displayed was over 45 minutes. Surprisingly, the line moved quite efficiently, and when it was my turn, I purchased my meal ticket. Since I was with my child, we were seated at a table. I ordered the following: - Signature Tsukemen (dipping noodles) ¥1,080 The dipping sauce included fish powder and shredded pork, with slices of chashu inside. The thick and curly noodles had a seasoned egg. The dipping sauce was a combination of seafood and creamy tonkotsu flavors, leaning towards the lighter side compared to other tsukemen I have tried. The noodles paired well with the sauce, although personally, I would have preferred them a bit thicker. The noodles had a nice texture and a good mouthfeel. Separate dipping sauce was provided for my child, which was not spicy, and my child happily enjoyed it. It was our first time experiencing such thoughtful service at a ramen shop, and my wife and I were impressed. There were various condiments on the table like shichimi (seven-spice), yuzu powder, and fish powder for flavor variations, ensuring an enjoyable meal until the end. We also tried the soup refills after finishing the noodles, savoring the flavors. While the tsukemen was decent but not outstanding, the excellent service provided for my child was remarkable. I considered revisiting during off-peak hours to avoid waiting in line. Thank you for the meal.
