Today's walk took me towards Kanamachi. The main destination was the eye clinic. I had made a reservation, but had to wait for the tests, examination, and even the next appointment. My Saturday morning was gone. I wanted to visit the "250 yen motsuyaki shop", but unfortunately, it didn't seem possible. It was already lunchtime. Let's join the line at "Miurake" in front of Kanamachi Station. You line up first, then go to the ticket machine in order. Groups, couples, and solo diners line up in a row. I waited for about 30 minutes while playing Uma Musume. Finally, I got a seat at the counter. Let's have a beer. Asahi Super Dry, canned beer. It's nice that they serve chashu and spinach as appetizers. I'll start with the spinach. There's pickled cucumber on the counter. Let's have that as an appetizer too. Crispy beer. It's a wonderful combination. About 4 minutes after the canned beer, my special ramen arrives. Spinach, boiled egg, seaweed, small pork slices, and a big chashu. The lineup makes me want another beer. Let's dig in. The soup is a rich pork bone soy sauce. It could be a meal on its own. The regular ramen is so delicious that I could eat several free bowls of rice. Unfortunately, I don't have the youthfulness for that. Plus, I have diabetes. Let's finish the beer with the toppings before tackling the main dish. The thin noodles slide in smoothly and are delicious too. The high calorie content is a concern, but let's work hard and exercise. I thoroughly enjoyed it until the end. Half of Saturday was ruined, and I couldn't make it to the "250 yen motsuyaki shop". It was a Saturday where my hopes were dashed, but I was saved by the delicious ramen. Thank you for the meal. "Ramen Miurake", Katsushika-ku, Kanamachi 6-5-1, Bel Tore Kanamachi 1F, 11:00-23:00

Special ramen (medium) for 1,300 yen, extra pork belly x2 for 200 yen, rice for free. The wait on a holiday at 9:30 am was 11 people. By the time the store opened at 11 am, there were about 40 people. I entered at 11 am and received my bowl at 11:20 am. This is my third visit in 2023. This is the best ramen I have ever tasted on Earth. Thank you for the delicious meal. The service was excellent and the ramen was incredibly delicious. It was a lunchtime full of happiness.

I went in the morning again today. I was worried when it started raining, but I borrowed an umbrella from the Miura family and avoided the rain. Now, let's talk about today's ramen. The soup was light and clear, but it had a strong umami flavor, especially from the soy sauce. The noodles were cooked just right with a nice texture. I tried adding white leeks as a topping for the first time, and it went really well with the dish. Another wonderful bowl of ramen today.

■Restaurant Information One of the most popular ramen shops in Tokyo, "Ramen Miuraya," is known for its house-made noodles. I visited the branch in Kanamachi for the first time today. There was a line of about 20 people around noon on a weekday. After waiting for about 40 minutes, I was seated. The ramen was served in about 3 minutes. The soup had a lot of chicken oil by default, and even when I asked for it to be lighter, it was still quite rich. The soup had an elegant taste, not typical of a house-made ramen. The noodles were from Sakai Seimen, which is known for its quality. It had a different feel from the Yokohama-based "Yoshimuraya," and preferences may vary. The smoked flavor of the chashu pork was more prominent in the Yoshimuraya style. The spinach seemed to be sautéed with butter, as it had a slight buttery flavor. Personally, I prefer the Yoshimuraya style. If you're a fan of house-made ramen, it might be worth trying out Ramen Miuraya at least once. ■Ordered Items - Special Ramen ¥1200 (Rice is complimentary) On the Instagram account "non.aldesuga.nanika," which has 70,000 followers, you can find delicious food recommendations from Tokyo and all over Japan!

Arrived at 2:00 PM on Saturday with a 20-person wait. It took 40 minutes to get seated, but once you're in line, they take your order quickly. Rice is free and unlimited refills are available. If you don't want rice, they'll still recommend a little bit. The broth is on the richer side to complement the rice, which worked well. It might be too strong if you evaluate the ramen alone without rice. The female staff, possibly the owner's wife, is lovely and adds to the overall experience.

I visited the Miura family's restaurant right in front of Kanamachi Station, a place that I had been curious about on YouTube and SNS for a long time! It's the shop run by the head chef of the Musashi family!! They have shortened their business hours to 11:00-15:00 to improve quality, and I really respect their attitude. I arrived at 11:30 and there were already about 40 people in line, so I prepared to wait for about an hour! Make sure to buy your meal ticket before lining up!! I purchased the "Jou" ramen, and as expected, it took about an hour to get inside. The atmosphere created by Mr. Miura and the staff welcoming the customers was so warm and amazing, I had never experienced such a comfortable ramen shop before! The quality of the ramen was unbelievably high! The depth and richness of the soup were so incredible that it felt like my brain was glitching. The freshness of the pork bone soup was outstanding, the chicken oil was on another level, the smoked garlic added a great flavor, the Awaodori chicken foam was incredibly tasty, and the chashu not only had a perfect rareness but also the best texture I've ever had in ramen. The flavored egg was gentle and soft, the best I've ever had! They recommended adding garlic vinegar, and it was delicious! It was refreshing and tasty! Even though it's not close to my neighborhood, I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I happened to run into Miura-san at another ramen shop and he suggested we go to Miura Family Ramen next time. So, I went there immediately. We arrived a little after 10 o'clock and were the 10th in line, so we got in after one rotation. I tried the special ramen for the first time. I ordered it with soft noodles and a strong flavor. The soup was surprisingly sweet at first, unlike the usual soy sauce flavor that comes first. The noodles were soft and perfect. The toppings were as impeccable as always, and the presentation was truly wonderful. Overall, it was the best bowl of ramen I've had. I will definitely be coming back without a doubt.

I used it for lunch. When I arrived 20 minutes before the opening on Saturday, there were over 50 people in line. I was able to enter the store at 12:20, so I had to wait quite a while. It seems to be less crowded on weekdays. I ordered the special ramen and half rice. The rice is free. It was served in about 10 minutes. As for the taste, the rich pork bone soup goes well with the soy sauce! The chicken oil floating in the soup is also full of flavor. The rare chashu and smoked small pieces go well with the rice. Including the seaweed, this ramen is a good match for rice.

2023.9.7 2023-412 Ramen Miuraya ◎ Jumbo Ramen + Rice 1000 yen meal ticket purchased. When there is a line, purchase the meal ticket first and then go to the end of the line. When waiting, do not lean on the guardrail to avoid causing inconvenience to the shop due to reports. Had some errands nearby and visited Miuraya for the first time in a while. Today, there was no special jumbo option, so I ordered the regular jumbo with extra firmness. The rich pork bone soy sauce soup paired with the house special short, medium-thick noodles. Toppings included naruto, seaweed, spinach, and green onions, with a flavored egg and smoked and braised chashu. I topped the rice with condiments from the table, wrapped it with seaweed and chashu, and it disappeared in no time. I asked for a regular serving of rice, and the shop owner, Mr. Miura, kindly gave me an extra half egg as a service. The flavored oil was delicious and paired perfectly with the rice. Thank you for the meal! (人´∀`*) #Ramen #Tsukemen #RamenMiuraya #RamenMemoirs #Noodlestagram #Katsushika, Tokyo #ExperimentalNoodleLift #ChashuLift

Today, I visited the Miura family restaurant after a long time. I arrived about 30 minutes before closing time and there were over 20 people waiting in line. After waiting for about 45 minutes, I finally got a seat. I ordered the soft and thick soy sauce ramen. The broth was full of rich pork bone flavor, probably because it was close to closing time. The noodles were made by Sakai Seimen and were of high quality. The toppings were excellent, especially the seasoned egg which added a nice seafood flavor to the dipping sauce. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with a sincere and hardworking owner, a dedicated female staff member, and a kind male staff member. I will definitely visit Miura family restaurant again.

First visit. Arrived before 2 PM on a weekday and there was a line of about 30 people... If it had been scorching hot, I probably would have given up, but I had time and it was relatively cool due to the cloudy weather, so I decided to wait. I entered the restaurant after about 60 minutes. The food was delicious and I was very satisfied, but if I had to wait 60 minutes... It would be good to introduce a system where even if you are far away, you can see the waiting time.

I went to an eye hospital in Kanamachi and afterwards decided to have lunch. I looked up and found a famous ramen shop called Miurake. It is said that the head of the Nakano Musashi family personally opened this shop. When I arrived, there was a long line. They only serve lunch. I ordered the premium seaweed ramen. As soon as I took a bite, I was shocked. I have become a fan of ramen and have been trying out various delicious shops, but I haven't had such a shocking experience in a while. This place, with just one sip, surpassed all my past experiences. The balance is amazing. It has a deep richness and umami that I would want to taste forever. The sweetness of the chicken oil and the taste of the soup base are perfectly harmonized. The addition of rock seaweed's umami is also rare and delicious. It's different from the toppings at other famous shops. It was the most balanced ramen I have ever eaten. The service from the staff was also the best I have experienced. The premium ramen made by Sosai Miura is a step above the ramen made by skilled staff at other famous shops, giving me that impression. If you love ramen, I highly recommend you to try this place. I am definitely going back. Just be aware that they are only open from 11 am to 3 pm. I happened to find this place by chance after visiting the eye hospital, and I am so glad I did.

I went to Ramen Miuraya in Kanamachi for lunch on Saturday. It used to be a very popular ramen shop known for its Yokohama-style ramen, but in April they announced that they would no longer identify as a "house-style" ramen shop. They are now focusing on simply pursuing delicious chicken and pork bone broth without being restricted by any specific genre. It had been many years since I last visited Kanamachi, and I noticed that a twin tower had been built in front of the station, making the area look more beautiful. Ramen Miuraya is located on the first floor of this high-rise tower. The head of the major chain of house-style ramen shops, Musashiya, opened this restaurant in August 2021, naming it after his foster father who he trained under before being appointed as the head of the chain. The shop opens at 11 am, and when I arrived just before 11:30, there was already a huge line! During business hours, you need to buy a meal ticket before lining up, but there were still people who hadn't bought one yet when I joined the end of the line! In the end, it took me 2 hours to get a seat... But thanks to the high-rise tower, it was shaded and there was a nice breeze, making it bearable. I ordered ramen with toppings that were moderately luxurious, and chose all the regular options. The rice was free for a large portion, but I chose a small one haha. Refills were also free, but leaving any food was not allowed! The soup had a rich flavor even though I ordered it normal. The noodles, which were the short, medium-thick, curly noodles from Sakai Seimen, were also good! The large slices of pork shoulder and leg were tender, and the smoked, diced pork was flavorful and tender. The flavored egg had a perfectly soft yolk and was delicious! But the best part was the friendly and welcoming service. I definitely want to come back again! Thank you for the meal.

The fact that you get two types of char siu plus pork belly for only 1,000 yen is really cheap. And the fact that rice is free and you can have seconds is amazing. Of course, the soup and noodles are delicious too. I always had doubts about ramen with wilted spinach in tonkotsu broth, but the crunchy komatsuna adds a nice touch. And the staff's friendliness is probably the best since Mitaka's Mitaka-san. Their attention to detail and hospitality are top-notch. Even after waiting for almost an hour, you still want to eat here. That's the reason why.

The rotation was good, so I entered the store after about 20 minutes. I don't usually eat chashu ramen, but since I came to Kanamachi, I decided to try it. The first sip of the soup was delicious as expected. This is what chashu ramen is all about, right? The rice also goes well with it. However, maybe because of my age, I couldn't finish it all. I enjoyed it very much.

Once again at Miurake, today they have pork shoulder chashu, and here is my review of their piping hot ramen in the scorching heat. Today I ordered the medium size ramen with extra pork shoulder chashu. The soup had a smooth texture with a rich and flavorful broth that impressed me. The noodles were on the softer side, which I prefer. The regular chashu slices were consistent as always, and the pork shoulder chashu had a good amount of fat, giving it a braised pork-like taste. Overall, the soup left a strong impression and the overall performance was top-notch. However, I always expect high-quality dishes from Miurake, so I look forward to being impressed even more in the future.

I visited Miurake, a ramen shop, to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. I ordered the Upper Ramen with Kujo Negi (soft noodles, rich flavor, regular rice). The first bite reminded me of the unique taste of Miurake. The foam was nice, the soup had a soy sauce base that I love, maybe because I chose the rich flavor. The noodles were perfectly soft, the chicken thigh was delicious, and the smoked pork belly was exceptional. The Kujo Negi (leeks) paired well with the dish. The rice with seaweed soaked in the soup was a great combination. The garlic vinegar really enhanced the flavor of the soup. However, the scorching hot summer made the journey back home regretful. Despite that, Miurake's ramen is dangerously delicious and makes you crave for more.

I arrived at the restaurant around 2:30 pm during the busy Obon season, so even though I lined up, it took about 2 hours to eat. I was pretty tired afterwards! It seemed like they were trying to shorten the wait time by only serving from 11 am to 3 pm. The first bite was amazing! The soup had a slightly unique taste, but I couldn't stop slurping it. I could do without the naruto though! It's a famous shop for a reason, the ramen is delicious. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it. The flavor is light and easy to eat. It has depth and you can easily finish the bowl. It's a house style ramen that you can enjoy, although I would prefer to eat it without waiting in line next time. The parking fee was 2000 yen, though!

This is the highest quality! The best customer service! The best service! They greet you with a warm voice and gentle eyes. The staff outside guiding customers are also very kind and welcoming. Even when I ordered a small rice, they encouraged me to have seconds because the rice was exceptionally delicious today. I ordered the special ramen, and the broth was not as strong as I expected, but had a gentle flavor of simmered dried fish that blended well with the mild pork bone soup. The flavors change depending on the combination, making it an incredibly delicious bowl of ramen. As you can see from the simmered egg, this is a top-notch restaurant that delivers delicious attention to detail in every aspect.

Today, I went to Miuraya to try their 2nd-anniversary ramen (*˘︶˘*) I arrived a bit late, around 9:30 in the morning, and I was the 17th in line, but it was no problem! Today, they were serving a 1500 yen ramen and 3 slices of chashu for 500 yen, so I decided to get both. There were a lot of Miuraya fans lining up, and it was quite crowded even in the morning, so I was glad I arrived early. After the first group of customers finished eating and left, I was seated. I bought some merchandise like stickers and a t-shirt before waiting for my order. Today, you couldn't customize your order, it was served as is, but they did offer rice as a service. And then, the ramen arrived!! It was served in a yellow bowl, which looked small at first, but the portion of ramen was generous! First, I tried the soup, and it was amazing! The broth had a fishy flavor with the umami taste of dried sardines, and it filled my mouth with deliciousness. The ramen served in 2005 was not your typical tonkotsu ramen. It had a new and nostalgic vibe to it, reminding me of a ramen I had tried before. The balance and harmony between the noodles and the soup were excellent. The chashu was not only tender but also had a perfect thickness and flavor. The menma was well-prepared, and the spinach had a different visual appeal than usual, adding to the overall experience. The yuzu and green onions provided a nice touch, although I wished there was more than one sheet of seaweed. Nevertheless, the quality was top-notch, and I left feeling satisfied. It's not often you come across a ramen like this, but I would love to encounter it again. Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary, Miuraya!
