I went to a session at the Luc Club. The piano at Luc Club is really easy to play. I reconnected with someone I met at Blue Note the other day, chatted with a vocalist who was rocking a kimono, and met a bassist who came all the way from Tokyo. It was a fun time. I got to play the piano a lot and stayed for a long time. The pianist was a teacher who gave me a trial lesson in the past. Of course, they didn't remember me, but the drummer gave me various advice. They pointed out that I should try to be more laid back, which I think is the most important advice for me. I want to focus on mastering this laid-back approach for a while. I'm really glad I went to Luc Club.

I don't usually go to live houses, but I had an experience at a gathering recently. It was a night in an unfamiliar town. There were a lot of people, so the floor was set up like school desks. The entrance fee was 2000 yen with one drink included. Since I had already been drinking wine, I chose grapefruit juice. First up was a professional trio - an electronic piano, guitar, and bass. It was enjoyable, but since I usually listen to classical music, electronic sounds didn't quite fit with me. Next, an amateur group performed. They played well, but they were missing a drummer that day, so they found it difficult and nerve-wracking. It seems like a place for those who perform, whether it's present or past.
