On the second day of our two-night, three-day Tokyo-Yokohama drive trip on July 16th, we checked out of the Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba at 10:00 am and crossed the Rainbow Bridge to Akihabara! We arrived in Akihabara around 10:30 am and started exploring. However, many shops didn't open until 11:00 am, and it was the hottest weekend of the summer. We visited a few shops that caught our son's interest, but the heat got to us, so we decided to explore Yodobashi Camera instead. We split up and met back at 12:30 pm. We then headed to a nearby convenience store for some refreshments before heading to our lunch spot, Niku no Mansei Honten. We made reservations for the steakhouse on the second floor for 1:00 pm. The atmosphere was classic and cozy, and we ordered various items, all cooked medium rare. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying.

My husband's birthday, we decided last minute to go out for dinner. We ended up at Mansei! We didn't have a reservation but we were able to get a table. We enjoyed pickles with beer, shared hamburgers, lobster, and steak. Of course, we had a few more beers. I was full at this point, but my husband was like, "What? You're full already?" He kept eating more, ordering croquettes and negi pork on his own. It was funny to see how much he could eat of his favorite foods. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and we loved the restaurant. I want to go back again soon!

I arrived at 5:30 PM and the restaurant was quite crowded. I had lobster and hamburger, and the hamburger with steak sauce was full of meaty flavor. The shrimp had firm and juicy meat in the tail and a rich miso flavor in the head. The Western set meal cost around 5000 yen, but the deliciousness was worth it.

Visited on a Saturday evening. There were reserved seats available, but the seating area seemed a bit limited. I ordered the combo meal. By choosing the Western set, I got bread, salad, and soup for an additional 600 yen. The shrimp fry was big and delicious! 😊

From JR Akihabara Station Electric Town South Exit, it takes a few minutes to walk to the store "Niku no Mansei Honten" located on Yanagihara Street near Manseibashi. I visited during lunchtime in early August. I took the elevator to the 4th floor reception floor inside the Mansei building. Due to the lunchtime rush, I had to write down my name and wait on the sofa for about 10 minutes before being guided to a window-side box seat with a good view. I looked at the lunch menu on the table. The lunch menu is full of various meat dishes such as steak, hamburger, and curry, typical of Mansei. On this day, I ordered the "Hamburger (180g) & Ginger Pork" service lunch menu (1628 yen including tax) with rice (free refill) and miso soup. The lunch set arrived without much wait, making a delicious sound of sizzling fat and sauce. It was quite a hearty lunch set. Next to the hamburger and ginger pork were served with skin-on potatoes. I picked up a fork and knife and tried it right away. The hamburger was full of umami and delicious! The rich demi-glace sauce complemented it well and made it very appetizing. The ginger pork was more like a "meat and vegetable stir-fry," with plenty of vegetables such as onions and green peppers. The aroma of ginger was also good, and it was also very appetizing. I finished it in no time. It was a satisfying and great value service lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 8 pm and was seated by the window, overlooking Akihabara. I ordered the Western set with hamburger and steak. The hamburger was delicious, definitely different from homemade ones. If I can eat at this price in Tokyo, I would definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal! 🌟

The main store of Yakiniku Mansei has moved to a nearby location, which is a bit disappointing. Today's usual Mansei lunch ginger pork felt thick and satisfying. The Mansei coupon on the app has ended at the end of July, which is sad. Nevertheless, I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal at the reliable Mansei main store.

When I want to eat meat, this is the place to go! Every time I come to Akihabara, I've been curious about Niku no Mansei, and I finally got to try it. The building has an entrance, steak on the 2nd floor, Western food on the 3rd and 4th floors, and yakiniku on the 5th floor. I was drawn to the hamburg steak and headed to the Western food floor. Around 7:30 pm on a weekday, there were about 3 groups ahead of me in line. I was contemplating the menu when my turn came, so waiting wasn't a problem. I ordered the steak and hamburg steak combo. The steak was thick yet melted in my mouth. The hamburg steak with cheese was also delicious. I'm looking forward to trying the other floors as well!

I visited the cute character-themed restaurant Mansei for the first time. It was quiet and relaxing inside, perhaps because it was past lunchtime on a weekday. I sat by the window and enjoyed the view of Akihabara while having a peaceful meal. Lunch prices start from around 1400 yen. I ordered the hamburger and shumai on the fourth floor. The shumai arrived in 2-3 minutes, and it was a large and juicy shumai with delicious meat juices overflowing. The hamburger followed, and I chose the demiglace sauce. It sizzled and crackled for a few minutes, and then I enjoyed it. The meat had no unpleasant smell and was surprisingly juicy. It was a delicious hamburger loved by everyone. The side dishes of potatoes, broccoli, and corn were also delicious, especially the sweet corn that I really liked. The rice was slightly sweet with a good texture, and I really enjoyed it. By the way, rice refills are free. The character-themed chopstick wrappers and plates were cute and soothing. Even the bathroom had many cute pig and cow characters. Today I went to the 4th floor. The menu is the same as the 3rd floor, but the waiting time seems a bit longer. I had the ginger pork and hamburger lunch set using the Masters Dream app coupon. I also used the discount coupon I received during my last visit. The food was reliably delicious.

★Hamburger★ After shopping in Tokyo, I felt like eating a hamburger and walked 5 minutes from Akihabara Station to Niku no Mansei Building. The first floor is for ramen, the second floor is for steak, and the third floor is for hamburgers. It was a Sunday, so I sat at a table overlooking the pedestrian paradise of Akihabara and had a Jumbo Hamburger, which was meaty and delicious. The Caesar salad from the à la carte menu was also delicious, with cheese being shaved at the table. I will definitely come back again.

My husband and I went to eat a lunch of hamburg steak and domestic beef cut steak on May 14, 2023 (Sunday). In Akihabara, there was a mikoshi (portable shrine) procession, which seemed to be a rare festival. We made our way through people of all ages in happi coats to the Mansei Building for our meal. It was our first time there, even though we were aware of its existence. When we arrived on the 3rd floor around 12:45, there were about 15 people waiting, so we decided to go up to the 4th floor. However, there were also many people waiting there. We wrote our names on a piece of paper and were able to be seated after about 20 minutes! We looked at the lunch menu and decided to order a dish with both hamburg steak and steak. I ordered my steak medium rare. Rice refill was free, and we also got a bowl of miso soup. It was delicious!! The Mansei Building itself was interesting, with various items for sale such as sandwiches for takeout. Thank you for the meal!

It was a morning that started sweet with bread, so my body seemed to be craving for salty and oily protein. The rice was also delicious, and the optional salad was of high quality. The pork miso soup was also tasty. Next time, I'll try the Man Katsu sandwich for takeout.

Meat Mansei Honpo, a meat dish specialty store located in Akihabara. Meat Mansei is a brand often seen at airports, stations, supermarkets, etc., known for their tonkatsu sandwiches and hamburger sandwiches. This place occupies an entire building, with a bar, restaurant, steakhouse, yakiniku, etc. We had lunch on the 3rd and 4th floors this time. The seating is like a family restaurant, and we were guided to a spacious seat by the window. The lunch menu is hamburger-focused. So, we ordered a combo set of hamburger and domestic beef cut steak! On the hot plate were the hamburger, cut steak, and sides of potatoes, broccoli, and onions. The hamburger was hot, and when I cut into it, the meat juices overflowed. It was tender but had a nice meaty texture and was juicy. The rich demi-glace sauce complemented it well. The steak was rare. You can adjust the cooking by grilling it on the hot plate. Eating it with the butter and steak sauce on top increased the satisfaction! It was truly a dish worthy of Meat Mansei.

I entered the restaurant in the evening, and the atmosphere from the entrance of the building was nice with many foreigners. The service was decent. I ordered a steak, but I felt that the quality and taste of the meat did not match the price. I also ordered shrimp as an extra, but the seasoning was not to my liking. Overall, I don't think I will visit this place again when I come to Akihabara.

I sat by the train tracks for the first time at Anzen no Mansei. I had a hamburger and ginger yakitori lunch with pork soup, while watching the Azusa Express on the Chuo Line Rapid Service. You can choose between rice or bread, and you can get a refill of rice. There is also a dessert service available on the app.

The restaurant has a slightly old-fashioned feel, like a traditional coffee shop or family restaurant. Despite the age of the building, it is well-maintained. The best part is the view from the window seats. You can see the electric town street all the way to Ueno, and you can even catch a glimpse of the Chuo Line, Sobu Line (and maybe the Yamanote Line too?). There are no tall buildings right in front, so you can enjoy the quintessential Japanese scenery. The food is delicious, but considering I spent 2000 yen for lunch, it seems like a fair price. When comparing it to places like Inari Sushi, the cost performance is definitely better there.

This building has different menus on each floor, which adds an interesting element, so I look forward to trying another restaurant on a different floor next time I visit.
