Date of visit: Early October 2022, around 9 pm on a weekday Number of people: 3 Amount spent: Around 4000 yen (drank a lot of wine during the second round) No reservation No bicycle parking (everyone parked in front of the store) No parking lot Atmosphere: Good for solo dining, 2-4 people, friends, not suitable for families or children The interior is small and lively. Seems more suitable for a second round. There is also a counter seat for solo diners. Many customers are smokers and regulars. Seats: Several counter seats, 3-4 tables, outdoor tables available We visited after having dinner at a nearby restaurant for the first round. The door was open and you could see inside from outside. Despite being in a somewhat obscure location, the outdoor seats were bustling. We were seated at an available table inside, and it seemed like many of the customers were regulars, engaging in lively conversations with other customers at different tables and the counter. It was our first time visiting, but we were warmly welcomed. There were two staff members working, preparing dishes in a small kitchen space. The drink menu was particularly interesting, with many unique Italian drinks that we hadn't seen elsewhere. While the food menu consisted mainly of appetizers, everything looked delicious. There were also meat dishes available. Even something as simple as olives stood out – they were not your typical cheap canned olives! They were delicious, with pits included. The staff mentioned that they could also prepare items not listed on the menu within reason. There were many options that paired well with wine, and before we knew it, we had consumed quite a bit. I would love to visit again for a second round after dining nearby or when I feel like having a drink alone. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

A bar located a few minutes walk from Demachiyanagi Station. The atmosphere is very nice, and the manager is friendly and cheerful. Because of the great atmosphere, the drinks go down smoothly and everything tastes delicious. They are open on Saturdays from 3pm, so it's a great place to relax and enjoy wine after exploring the city. I highly recommend this place.

We visited a shop we passed by with a friend, and it was a great choice! The atmosphere inside the shop was really nice. There were no other customers besides us. The garlic shrimp (ahijo) was especially memorable. The potato salad was also delicious.

Located in Demachiyanagi, a somewhat inconspicuous area, this restaurant has a casual atmosphere typical of a student town. The exterior and interior are very appealing, and the staff is friendly. However, the disappointing part is the food, which seems to focus more on appearance than taste. I wish they would pay more attention to the quality of their dishes.

I went on Christmas Eve. The heater was slightly warm, and I enjoyed sangria. It was very fun. I would like to go again for another special occasion.

I will refrain from giving a specific score as I know the shop owner. I have been a regular customer since they opened, but I have not posted on Tabelog because of the reasons mentioned earlier. However, it's a great restaurant, and I think it's a shame that it has a low rating on Tabelog, so I decided to post a review. One of the highlights is that the prices are reasonable and the menu is extensive. The portion sizes are just right, not too big, so if you go with a friend, you can enjoy a variety of dishes! They also pour generous amounts of wine, both by the bottle and by the glass, which is great for those who enjoy drinking! They also have a wide selection of cocktails, like mojitos and caipirinhas, which are popular with women. Of course, they also have homemade sangria. It's also great that you can enjoy day drinking here. If this restaurant were in my neighborhood, I would probably go there often (laughs). When you go to most Spanish restaurants with just two women, it's usually impossible to finish the paella, but here, the portion size is just right, and we always manage to finish it! The other day, my friend and I had a great time relaxing on the terrace. On that day, we had mojitos and white wine (probably two glasses) as our first stop, then moved to a second restaurant for a meal (we had pork offal that day), and finally returned to meet up with our friends for wine, prosciutto, sparkling wine, and more. It's a great place where you can enjoy a drink before a meal, stop by after eating, or have a drink in the afternoon.

This cozy Spanish-style izakaya is just a few minutes' walk from Demachiyanagi Station. It's a great place to go for a drink alone or with friends. They offer a variety of daily pinchos (small appetizers) and delicious dishes like various types of ahihijo (sausage or shrimp cooked in olive oil with a bit of spice) and paella. The freshly sliced hamon serrano (cured ham) next to the register is also a must-try. Since they offer many small dishes, you can enjoy a wide variety of food even when dining alone. The only downside is that they have a limited dessert menu. The drinks, such as sangria and mojitos, are recommended (although a bit pricey). They even serve unique cocktails like white sangria with kiwi fruit. If you order red sangria, they will serve it with plenty of grapefruit. Personally, I enjoy the refreshing taste of the mint and sugar in the mojitos. They also have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, especially during cafe hours on weekends. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is lively, with regular customers chatting with the staff at the counter. The restaurant can get crowded, so it's best to make a reservation on weekends or for large groups. If you stick to 1-2 drinks and enjoy a full meal, it will cost you around 2,000 yen per person. Even if you drink and eat to your heart's content with a group of friends, it has never exceeded 5,000 yen per person. They also have a terrace seating area, but the restaurant is not very spacious, so reservations are recommended for weekends or large groups.

I visited the restaurant without a reservation and found that the inside was fully booked, but there were seats available on the terrace. I started with a fruity and slightly rich wine called Alteza. I enjoyed some Jamon Serrano as a snack, which had a nice salty flavor. Next, I had a Russian-style salad, which was actually a potato salad. I also tried the Chorizo al Ajillo, which was delicious when dipped in the sauce and eaten with bread. I also had the Cajos, which had perfectly cooked tripe. And of course, I finished with Paella, which had a rich flavor from the seafood. The restaurant is located at 22-75 Tanakasekidencho, Lumiere Demachiyanagi 1F, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City.

For the past two years, Spanish bars have been popping up around the Karasuma area. It's great for after work drinks, but as a housewife, I can't easily make it out to town for night drinks. However, there is one bar in the Kit area that I highly recommend – Demachiyanagi Bar RICO RICO. The ambiance is bright and casual, making it suitable for families with children. They offer a great selection of tapas, including a generous set of large mussels. Don't forget to use the coupon available on Gurunavi. Their seafood paella is a must-try and the various types of aioli dishes are also delicious. Overall, I had a great time enjoying the different aioli dishes with my friends. The bar is perfect for a casual and enjoyable night out, and even my child, who loves aioli, would enjoy it. Thank you for your continued support, and don't forget to click the like button!

This is a bar located near Eizan Railway & Keihan Railway - Demachiyanagi Station. They offer a variety of wines from daily to special ones. They also have plenty of dishes that go well with alcohol, making it a great place to enjoy a quick drink at the counter or sit down at a table for a proper meal. It's a versatile bar that can be used in various ways!

It is located to the east of Demachiyanagi Station. It is a place where restaurants are gathered, and there are many student residences, giving off a typical Kyoto student town vibe. The interior has a Spanish downtown bar atmosphere. It is not overly new or clean, which fits well with the atmosphere of a student town. There is a showcase of tapas at the counter, with daily changes. This place seems to particularly focus on garlic shrimp and paella. There are several types of garlic shrimp, and the oyster one was especially delicious. It is recommended to eat it with bread dipped in olive oil. There are also several types of paella, including ones made with pasta (fideuà). The prices are reasonable, and the portion is enough for one person if you are hungry (although sharing one dish between two people is the norm). Ordering wine by the bottle is the most cost-effective option. They also serve sangria, sherry, and other cocktails (which are more expensive compared to wine). There is also a drink-all-you-can course available, which I think is far superior to chain izakayas (it's rude to compare). I highly recommend it for drinking parties.

Here, on the 1st floor of a condominium, there is a Spanish bar. They have terrace seating in the front, which is really nice. First, we toasted with sparkling wine on the terrace. It was so nice to drink bubbles on the terrace in the afternoon! However, it was quite hot outside, so we moved to indoor seating. They had a variety of tapas that looked delicious. Onion oven-baked (200 yen), RICORICO potato salad (300 yen), organic vegetable pickles (300 yen), marinated sardines (350 yen) - everything was delicious! The onion was especially sweet and tasty! It's great that you can try a lot of different dishes with small plates. Hamon Serrano (450 yen) - freshly sliced ham was also delicious! Clam ajillo, octopus ajillo from Akashi (each 700 yen) - the clams were incredibly delicious! I was so impressed by how delicious they were! This place was delicious, generous in portion, and affordable!

It was delicious! I love Spanish cuisine, so when I happened to come across this restaurant, I decided to give it a try. They had a variety of dishes and drinks. On the back page of the menu, there were many photos from a trip to Spain, which made me feel like they really love Spain. The staff seemed passionate about their work, not just doing it for the job. The paella, salad, and sangria were all delicious. I'm looking forward to trying their desserts next time!

In Kyoto, I am quite satisfied with a high probability. I was finally able to go to a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while (across from Slige). Previous reviews had made me anxious about not being satisfied, but surprise! It's a delightful scream. The narrow interior is surprising, and although I thought it was cold, I didn't use the terrace seats, but depending on the season, it could be the perfect place to drink! There were two staff members. Despite the extremely narrow kitchen, there were plenty of tapas, which are my favorite. I was guided to the showcase on the counter to browse the recommended dishes of the day. The showcase is small, but the tapas lined up tightly inside make me feel like I'm on a trip to Spain. The shrimp a la ajillo was ¥650 and the saltiness was perfect, making the bread delicious. The fisherman-style paella was ¥1300. It would be just the right size for two people. We ordered a bottle of red wine, Laplanta, for ¥3800. It's amazing. Those who have experience in Spain should understand (I think)! The excitement of choosing tapas, the comforting prices, and the staff's just-right carelessness. I got drunk and was very pleased. It's a bit disappointing that the last order is early... Next time, I want to check out the espresso.

Stylish appearance. Red chairs! The place always seems busy, so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to eat paella. It's not easy to find a place that serves paella, but I saw several types listed on the outdoor menu. Now, the long-awaited paella! Oh, it's so small >.< And it's over 1000 yen. (Probably the fisherman-style paella mentioned by other reviewers... But it's definitely not enough for two people!) Well, there are mussels and all, so maybe this is normal? I take a spoonful. Oh, it's so shallow >.< I try a bite. It's just okay >.< The flavor is weak, and the bottom part is a bit watery. If it were an izakaya where you order many dishes, this amount might be fine, but as a single item, it's not enough. And the cost performance is low. It's a shame considering the nice atmosphere. Satisfaction 0/5

I had Aioli for the first time at this restaurant last year, and I was knocked out by its incredible deliciousness. My friend who was with me also felt the same way, and we ended up ordering more bread along with the Aioli. I have never had Aioli at any other restaurant, so I'm not sure if this one is exceptionally delicious or if Aioli is just my favorite dish. Nevertheless, the Aioli here is my favorite. Personally, I like the shrimp Aioli and mushroom Aioli. Just Aioli, bread, and Sangria are enough to satisfy me. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming.
