This is a shop located on the 6th floor of Yodobashi Camera Kyoto store. The main dish is beef tongue set meal, but they also offer a variety of set meals and have a bit of an izakaya vibe, so you can cover a wide range of dishes. This time, I ordered the beef tongue grill and horse mackerel fry set meal (1860 yen). The portions of the horse mackerel fry and beef tongue were smaller than expected for the price. However, the quality was good, with the beef tongue being tender and the sauce making the rice go down smoothly. Additionally, the rice and miso soup are free refills, so depending on how you eat, you can get a satisfying experience that matches the price. I also ordered the dried sprinkle topping (100 yen, it was dried baby sardines) and ended up having three bowls of rice... haha. I haven't tried beef tongue set meals from other shops, so I can't say for sure, but for the price, it was... that kind of feeling.

The restaurant on the 6th floor of Yodobashi Camera in Kyoto sells charcoal-grilled beef tongue and roast beef bowl, but the fish is also delicious. I ordered hokke and fried horse mackerel, both of which were voluminous and quite tasty! It was a happy place that was also reasonably priced!

I love Wakura♡ I sometimes visit this store and the Mio store at Wakayama Station with my boyfriend. I am a fan of Wakura♬ I always end up ordering the Salmon Harasu set meal, even though I hesitate. But this time, I tried the Salmon Harasu dashi tea pickled rice bowl, so I took a picture after a long time. There wasn't much change, but it was delicious♡ Thank you for the meal (*˘︶˘*).。*♡

I visited around 11:20 am on a regular day. Despite the early hour, the restaurant was bustling with a few groups of customers. I checked the menu and decided to go for the February limited edition dish, the roast beef bowl with beef tongue (1529 yen), which was 100 yen off. I really wanted to try the double chicken nanban set, but it wasn't on the menu, so I figured it might not be available next time I come. The dish was served in about 10 minutes, and it was delicious with a noticeable beef tongue flavor. There were about 20 slices of beef tongue in the bowl. Rice and miso soup were refillable, and the miso soup was full of ingredients, although the refill was without any.

I made a reservation through Tabelog for Sunday lunch and visited Ando-san, where you can enjoy charcoal-grilled beef tongue and fish. I opted for the limited-time cold soup set menu right away, while my friend, a big fan of beef tongue, ordered the tongue and harami set along with beef tongue croquettes. The cold soup set included a small-sized horse mackerel and rice. The cold soup in a large mortar had a delicious miso flavor. It was just the right amount of seasoning, with refreshing cucumber, shiso, and sesame, along with ice to keep the rice from getting lukewarm. Breaking up the horse mackerel and adding it enhanced the flavor and richness, making it even more enjoyable. My friend's beef tongue and harami set came with oxtail soup and rice. The meat was quite tender, and the seasoning was excellent, as my friend ended up getting a second helping of rice. You can also get a refill of miso soup. The croquettes didn't particularly taste like beef tongue, but they were hot and freshly fried. It was heartwarming to be served warm tea after the meal. I heard they also serve dinner sets, so I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I went to Wasyokura inside Yodobashi. I thought it was a beef tongue restaurant, but they had various set meals. It's relatively easy to get in without waiting in line at Yodobashi. The grilled beef tongue skewers had a chewy texture, but the skin was a bit flabby, lacking a crispy sensation. The set meal comes with unlimited rice and miso soup refills.

I visited for lunch. I have been here many times before. I had the grilled fatty mackerel set meal with grated yam. You can now add various side dishes for 100 yen each. This time, I tried adding furikake. The freshly grilled large mackerel was delightful! The skin was crispy and the flesh was tender. It felt like it needed a bit more salt, so I added more... but I struggled to figure out how to use the dispenser. Eventually, I managed to get some out (laughs). With the salted mackerel, grated yam, and furikake, the rice went down really well. I ended up getting seconds twice (large and medium)! This place is great for enjoying delicious fish easily. When I feel like eating grilled fish, this is where I come. They also have beef tongue and pork teppanyaki, so it depends on your mood. People of all ages and genders were constantly coming in, so it's quite popular! Oh, they seem to have reduced the variety of side dishes compared to before. I noticed that the hormone fried chicken I had before is no longer available, which is a bit disappointing...

The taste is average. The prices are reasonable. However, there are too many disappointing points, so I feel like I'm losing out. First of all, there were various stains... We entered as the second group 5 minutes after opening. The table was rough, and the menu was sticky. The dishes are served on trays, which are also slippery with oil. I ordered harami steak and sliced tongue bowl. The harami steak had no seasoning (it felt like it was meant to be eaten with the sauce rice), and the sliced tongue was thin and... is this really tongue? However, being near the station and being a chain restaurant, it's acceptable. But the lukewarm miso soup, mostly ice in the oolong tea, and the feeling that the staff need better training are really disappointing. If they improve on these aspects, the restaurant could be much better, so I hope for better in the future.

Eating a fish set meal at this price around Kyoto Station at night is wonderful. You can have unlimited refills of rice and miso soup. I had the Grilled Salted Mackerel Set Meal for 890 yen (comes with pickles, miso soup, salad or grated yam). The mackerel was fatty and firm, very satisfying dinner.

I visited around 13:00 on a regular day. The seats were about 30% filled. I ordered the Salmon Harasu set meal for 950 yen based on good reviews of the fish dishes.
- Salmon Harasu: The salmon harasu was juicy and satisfyingly hot.
- Miso soup: The miso soup had a gentle flavor, possibly from the addition of carrots.
- Pickles: The pickled vegetables were delicious and paired well with the salmon harasu.
- Tororo Mini Salad: I opted to change to the tororo mini salad, which had a slightly salty taste.
- Rice: The rice was not as freshly cooked as it could have been, likely due to it being past lunchtime.

I thought the mackerel was pretty tasty, but I was shocked when I ordered the pork shoulder loin ginger stir-fry set meal. First of all, in terms of volume, I expected about half the amount based on the menu image, but they served a whole lot of pork. And when I took a bite, it had a meat-like texture similar to the one in "Human Lost" and lacked the taste of pork. In other words, it was not very flavorful. Out of the 7 pieces, I could only eat 5. Since rice is all-you-can-eat, you can get full easily! Definitely try the pork shoulder loin ginger stir-fry set meal.

The set meal comes with a choice of large, medium, or small rice, and you can also get refills. The rice is delicious. You can also get refills of miso soup. The ingredients include onions and carrots. The main dish is a stir-fry of Kujo green onions and minced beef tongue. It has a nice spicy kick to it. It was a satisfying lunch.

In front of JR Kyoto Station, on the 6th floor of Yodobashi Camera's restaurant floor, I found this restaurant. I had work nearby again the next day, and the restaurants on the Yodobashi restaurant floor were somewhat limited. Since I had tonkatsu the day before, I wanted something other than tonkatsu, and I came across this place. However, I ended up with another fried dish - a large portion of fried horse mackerel set meal caught my eye, so I decided to try it. The restaurant was surprisingly empty when I walked in. The service felt very manual and the atmosphere was not very welcoming. I ordered the large portion of fried horse mackerel set meal as planned. Despite the restaurant being empty, I had to wait for about 12-13 minutes for my lunch to arrive. When it did, the horse mackerel was indeed large, but the fish was tough and dry, not very tasty. The amount of mayonnaise provided was quite small, just about a teaspoon, which was disappointing. Additionally, a small lemon was placed next to it, and as expected, it got covered in mayonnaise. It made me wonder if they had thought about the customer experience when placing the lemon there. The sauce provided on the side was also very small considering the size of the horse mackerel, making it difficult to dip the fish in. The miso soup was lukewarm and watery, disappointing. The white rice, however, was tasty. The food took a while to come out, but once finished, they were quick to clear the table. I won't be going back again.

Located in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, is a shop run by Kabushiki Kaisha Jigen that specializes in dried fish and pork dishes. Upon opening, I ordered the "Pork Shoulder Ginger Stir-Fry & Fatty Mackerel Set Meal," while my companion ordered the "Chicken Nanban & Salmon Belly Set Meal" and the "Aomori Hachinohe Offshore Mackerel One-Night Dried Set Meal." The dishes arrived promptly. The pickles were mildly salty. The ginger stir-fry had a satisfying crunch and just the right amount of firmness, with the richness of the fatty meat spreading in the mouth. The sauce had a slightly subdued ginger flavor. The fatty mackerel lived up to its name, with a generous amount of fat. However, both dishes were served lukewarm! My companion's chicken nanban and salmon belly were also lukewarm. The one-night dried mackerel was quite large, and I shared half of it, but it was the same lukewarm temperature. I suspect that the dishes were not cooked on-site but rather pre-packaged and reheated inadequately. The ingredients and seasoning were not bad, but this simply won't do.

Located on the 5th floor of Kyoto Yodobashi, north of Kyoto Station, this restaurant is in the middle of the south side. When I visited in the evening on a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded. Even though I was alone, I was guided to a secluded table for four. While this is an izakaya specializing in charcoal-grilled dishes, they also offer set meals that come with rice and miso soup. Conversely, most set meal options can also be ordered as individual items, making it convenient for those on a low-carb diet. The thickly sliced beef tongue, while not labeled as Sendai-style, came with vegetables that were reminiscent of Sendai cuisine. Although beef tongue naturally has a chewy texture, it seemed slightly firmer compared to when I had it at a restaurant known for Sendai beef tongue. Additionally, they had a variety of fish dishes on the menu. Whether you choose a set meal or individual items, you can enjoy a satisfying meal here.

After finishing up my errands at Yodobashi in Kyoto, I visited Wakura for an early dinner. There were only a couple of guests in the restaurant, so the staff warmly welcomed me. I was aiming for the beef tongue, so I ordered the beef tongue set meal (2250 yen), as well as the bonito sashimi (780 yen) and tofu salad (690 yen) as side dishes. Everything was delicious. The set meal came with unlimited rice and miso soup, and the beef tongue was thickly sliced, providing a satisfying portion. The tofu salad had a bit less vegetables than I expected. The meal had a good amount of volume, but it might be a bit pricey for a light lunch. Overall, it was not bad at all.

I had plans at Kyoto Station, and decided to have lunch at Yodobashi after my plans were done. I was interested in a restaurant that seemed busy, so I chose to go to this one where I could get in quickly. I ordered the beef tongue set meal because I got hooked on beef tongue and wanted to try different delicious restaurants. There were other menu options, but I chose beef tongue. It had a firm texture but was tender, and the flavor was a bit strong but delicious. It came with oxtail soup, which was a nice change of taste in between bites of beef tongue. The dishes were served promptly, and the atmosphere was not bad, so I would like to come here again when eating at Yodobashi.

We had some business in Kyoto in the morning, and after it was done, we all went to this restaurant. We just drank and ate, so I can't give a detailed review, but the charcoal-grilled beef tongue and chicken Karaage were amazing! (≧∇≦)b
