The place that opens early in Aqua City is either Starbucks or here. If you're having breakfast, you definitely choose this place. Ever since I had those whipped cream-covered pancakes at the Harajuku store during the pancake boom, it's been a while since I've been to Eggs 'n Things. They've managed to survive beyond the trend, which is great. The first thing on the breakfast menu was a pancake sandwich. Pancake sandwich because it's sandwiched between pancakes? Isn't that too obvious? But having protein in the morning seems like a good idea. Since I came to Eggs 'n Things, I want to have pancakes. However, having a sweet menu in the morning can be a bit heavy. This item caters to that demand perfectly. By making it the first thing on the menu and recommending it, there's no reason not to order it. I ordered the Eggs 'n Pancake Sandwich with Kalua Pork & Cheese and an iced coffee. It's surprisingly delicious. The pancake has a balanced sweetness and a savory taste, so it doesn't feel out of place even with savory ingredients. The texture of the pancake is noteworthy. It melts in your mouth with a nice bite. It doesn't get in the way of the cheese and Kalua Pork. When I had it in Harajuku before, I was too distracted by the whipped cream to pay attention to the quality of the pancake itself. This place is really good at making pancakes. It's quite filling too. Two pancake sandwiches and a drink for 940 yen before tax is a good deal, right? Spending your morning in Odaiba here seems like a great idea.

It's been about 10 years since I last had Eggs 'n Things. I love their BLT, it was so nostalgic! I always eat it while thinking about how to efficiently eat the runny yolk, but I still haven't figured out the best way. Can someone please tell me how to eat it efficiently?

The interior with a white color scheme, high ceilings, and a view of the blue sky and ocean outside, along with Hawaiian music playing, truly gives off a Hawaiian vibe. The portion size may be small for the price, but it's all about the atmosphere (lol). The Kalua Pork & Cheese crepe is rich in nutrients (or high in calories, haha), and tastes great when eaten with the pickles provided! However, the crepe itself is a bit sweet, so it might be better if it was less sweet for a meal crepe. The pancakes are soft and chewy, just like the ones I had in Hawaii, and the whipped cream is light and refreshing, making it easy to finish even with the generous amount. It tends to liquefy over time, maybe indicating a lower fat and sugar content. We didn't order any drinks, but from what I saw, they seem to have a lot of ice. When clearing the table, I noticed glasses with about 1/6 filled with water being carried around, which was puzzling at first, but it seems it was water from the melted ice after finishing the drink. Depending on the type of drink, this may not be suitable for those who want to drink quickly.

I had lunch at Eggs 'n Things for the first time in a while because they were having a Hawaiian festival in Odaiba and it made me crave it. The garlic shrimp, Eggs Benedict, and sweet pancakes were all delicious. It felt like a brief moment of being in Hawaii. Thank you for the meal!

- 6 minutes walk from Daiba Station, 9 minutes walk from Tokyo Teleport Station
- Other branches available
- Must-try dishes: Smoked Salmon and Avocado Eggs Benedict, Garlic Shrimp
- Famous for their pancakes!
- I was craving Hawaiian Eggs Benedict, so I came to this restaurant. While it didn't quite match the taste of Hawaii, the Eggs Benedict was very delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed with the Garlic Shrimp as it was difficult to eat and the taste was mediocre.
- I also posted about it on Instagram! (@toragourmet)

In between the rainy season, on a sunny morning, we arrived at 8:40 am for the 9 am opening and were the 4th in line. By the time they opened, there was a long line (too long for a second turn), so I recommend going early on weekends. We ordered Eggs Benedict (with spinach and bacon), Loco Moco, and Pancakes (with mango, whipped cream, and chocolate chip toppings) to share among 3 people. Eating breakfast on the terrace on a pleasant morning was a great feeling. Thank you for the meal.

It was delicious. I ordered a set menu. It was nice to be able to try popular items. I think it's cheaper to order a set. The pancakes were light and easy to eat! The whipped cream was fluffy and lighter than I expected, so I was able to finish it. The Eggs Benedict was delicious. The side of potatoes was tasty. The salad was also good. I also had two drinks, one before the meal and one after. I chose the chocolate drink and it was delicious. However, it was very crowded with inbound customers. It was a 30-minute wait on a weekend night, so be aware that it might be busy in the future.

I really wanted something sweet, so I ordered the limited-time melon pan pancake. It was my first time trying such a sweet pancake. Inside the pancake, there was custard cream which was rich and delicious. The portion was quite large and I felt a bit stuffed after finishing it with my friend. Maybe 0.5 less would have been just right for me. I think this pancake would be irresistible for those who love sweet treats.

I didn't make a reservation so I had to wait. They seated me on the terrace which was very pleasant. However, after ordering, the food took a long time to arrive. The staff seemed to be understaffed even though there were empty tables. The breakfast I wanted was sold out, so I had to settle for salmon avocado eggs benedict with potato omelette. The taste was average with a bit too much oil. Overall, the terrace seating was nice and it was a pleasant morning, but I'm not sure if I would go back again.

Visited the restaurant with my wife for brunch on a holiday. It had been about 4 years since our last visit to the chain, back in Waikiki before the pandemic. The whole facility opened at 11 am, with most shops still closed except for the movie theater and Eggslut. We had to navigate a complicated path from the parking lot, going down to the first floor and around the building to reach the restaurant, where we were met with a line of about 15 people waiting. The wait time was probably around 30 minutes. What puzzled me was that about one-third of the indoor space, including the kitchen and register, was not being used, with only the main dining area on the opposite side of the register and the outdoor terrace seats being utilized. I couldn't understand why they had unused tables set up, whether it was due to not having staff to cover that section or for COVID precautions. It would have been more convenient if they had seated us right away instead of making us wait in line. While waiting, we decided on our order and as soon as we were seated, we ordered the following:
- Strawberry, whipped cream, and macadamia nut pancakes
- Spinach and kalua pork eggs benedict (with grilled potatoes)
- Kona coffee blend
- Lemonade
The wait for the food was standard, and I have always admired the eggs benedict dish which I still can't replicate at home. I chose the spinach and kalua pork option to enjoy the flavors of the sauce mixing with the spinach and pork. The taste was delicious, with the sauce and egg yolk blending perfectly with the spinach and pork. The lemonade had just the right balance of sweetness and sourness. My wife gave up halfway through the pancakes as she was full, but I managed to finish them. The pancakes soaked in maple syrup with a generous amount of whipped cream and strawberries were also delightful. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied without feeling hungry until dinner. I recommend trying their brunch. Thank you for the meal.

It is located on the second floor of Aqua City. It's been a while since I last visited. When it comes to Eggs 'n Things, their overflowing cream pancakes are famous, so I'll go with that. I ordered the strawberry pancakes, acai bowl, and avocado salad. The pancakes arrived promptly, with a generous amount of cream, but they are light and easy to eat. The strawberries are juicy with a hint of texture, very delicious. The pancakes have a nice balance of the dough's flavor and the sweet cream. Maybe there's a hint of salt in it? The balance is good. The acai bowl looks beautiful too. It's full of ice cream and fruits, very satisfying and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and with this level of satisfaction, it's no wonder there are many repeat customers.

Combining strawberry pancakes with omelette was a great choice. Having sweet dishes one after another can become overwhelming, but the omelette provided a nice break, allowing me to enjoy the meal until the end. I ate the pancakes without syrup, but they were sweet enough on their own.

I had the Island Plate, Eggs Benedict, and Waffles. I prefer waffles over pancakes. Also, I love the Eggs Benedict here! I ordered a Virgin Piña Colada to drink. It's a frozen drink with pineapple juice and coconut flavor, and it's really delicious! It was crowded because of Golden Week, so I had to wait in line for an hour. I wish they would come up with a better system, like giving out numbered tickets!

Eggslut in Odaiba had a bad reputation for poor management at one point. However, I recently visited to see how things were going. The restaurant was spacious with a high ceiling and a nice terrace. The only downside was the oversized drink bar counter, which seemed to take up unnecessary space. Despite having to wait for almost an hour on a holiday, the line was well-organized. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff. Eggslut is known for its whipped cream pancakes, but they also offer a variety of Hawaiian-inspired dishes. I tried the waffle, which had just the right amount of whipped cream. My friend had the French toast and acai bowl. The French toast had unmelted butter, and the tea served in a pot was disappointingly small. Overall, the restaurant seemed to be running smoothly, and I hope they can maintain this level of service.

I visited Eggs 'n Things Odaiba store, located just a 1-minute walk from Odaiba Station. This popular Hawaiian restaurant, born in 1974 in Hawaii, has gained many fans in Japan since its opening. The Odaiba store, opened in July 2014, is the 4th store in the Kanto region and the 8th store in Japan at that time. The spacious interior on the 3rd floor of Aqua City Odaiba offers a great view of Tokyo Bay. With over 130 seats, including terrace seating, it is perfect for dining with family, friends, or a date. During my visit for lunch, I tried the Banana, Whipped Cream, and Macadamia Nuts for ¥1,260, the Special Omelet of the Day (Bacon and Cheese) for ¥1,500, and the Ahi Poke Bowl for ¥1,330. The highlight was the pancakes, with a classic thickness and a slight chewiness, topped with generous whipped cream and various sauces. The variety of menu options makes it a place for everyone to enjoy. However, there were some operational issues during my visit, as the Ahi Poke Bowl arrived before the drinks, and the omelet and pancakes took more than 30 minutes to be served. Despite this, I would still like to visit again in the future. Thank you for the meal.

During Golden Week, I visited Eggs 'n Things in Odaiba and tried their Waikiki set menu for brunch. It was a substantial meal with a nice balance of breakfast and lunch items. The pineapple pancakes were a highlight, fluffy and topped with delicious cream. Definitely worth a visit!

I had strawberry pancakes. The cream was light like air and didn't feel heavy. The strawberries were not overly sweet and had a nice acidity, making them delicious. However, there is a decent amount of flour in the pancakes, so it's best to go when you're quite hungry.

I have been to Eggs 'n Things at other locations many times, but this was my first time at Odaiba! I arrived on a Saturday morning around 10:15 and had to wait for about 30 minutes. They don't offer morning specials on weekends and holidays, so it was quite crowded even on a rainy and cold day. I ordered the Sakura Pancake for 1848 yen, Loco Moco for 1250 yen, Eggs 'n Cobb Salad for 1650 yen, and Earl Grey Iced Tea for 460 yen. I mentioned that I was in a bit of a hurry, so they made everything at the same time, but surprisingly the pancake arrived first! The white cream on top of the Sakura Pancake tasted like cream cheese with a slight tanginess, making it easy to eat. The Sakura elements included the whipped cream, Sakura bean paste under the mochi, and the separate Sakura syrup. The whipped cream and syrup had quite an artificial Sakura flavor. The pancake itself was the usual thin and sweet type, and it was delicious as always. The Cobb Salad had different toppings from what I had before - the chicken had been replaced with spam, and the olives were missing while pineapple was added. For the Loco Moco, I wished the gravy sauce was a bit richer as the egg was extremely runny, diluting the sauce. The restaurant had plenty of empty seats, but they didn't guide customers to their tables, so people ended up waiting in line unnecessarily. It's unclear whether it's a matter of operation or kitchen efficiency, but it seemed a bit inefficient.

This is my first visit to Eggs 'n Things since it opened in Japan. I remembered the rich cream from before, but I was surprised at how light it was this time. It wasn't very sweet, and I chose the strawberry Mont Blanc this time. The plain cream seemed like it could get boring after a while, but the strawberry Mont Blanc was a great choice! The harmony of mascarpone and strawberries is fantastic. However, there were two halves of warm strawberries sandwiched between the pancakes, and honestly, they weren't necessary. Warm strawberries are not delicious, I would prefer them as a topping on top.

I went around 9:30 on a Sunday morning. The line was not too long, about a 30-minute wait until entering. You could refill your hot coffee until 11 o'clock. They also provide hot water for tea. The high ceiling creates a pleasant atmosphere. The service is very good. The time from ordering to serving is just right. It's a nice place to visit occasionally and the food tastes delicious. Be careful with the seasonal limited menu as it can be very sweet. I made that mistake twice. This place is reliable with their regular menu items. Be cautious about trying new things as you may regret it.
