Noriaki
I have been using this shop occasionally for a while now. In front of the shop, there is a red lantern that says "Nijo specialty motsunabe," which stands out. The staff are all lively and the atmosphere is great, even though the space is not very big, it feels very lively. The staff explain the menu and recommendations accurately, which leaves a very good impression. Besides motsunabe, this shop also features fish, grilled chicken, and Korean dishes (chijimi, chapchae, etc.), all of which have quite delicious flavors. Especially, the chijimi and chapchae were delicious. However, this time I went for the motsunabe, so I refrained from ordering other dishes. The sashimi fish had a bit of a fishy smell, but other than that, everything was good. The motsunabe, in particular, is said to be prepared in the style of "Kamehachi," but honestly, I think it's more delicious than "Kamehachi." The motsu is chewy and large, with plenty of fresh vegetables, making it a very satisfying taste. As for drinks... the highball was surprisingly weak (lol). That's a no-go. I recommend the beer (Premium Malt) and the variety of shochu they have. Overall, it's a shop with a good impression, but I wish they had a bit more capacity. It can get crowded even on weekdays, so making a reservation is a safe bet.
