DEBU meeting was held with friends who are passionate about the world, where we discussed various topics about the world. The event was organized last minute, but we managed to secure a reservation at "Harajuku KINTAN," a new restaurant that opened in October last year. We ordered homemade sangria, kimchi & namul platter, and the highlight of the menu, the "Number One Sirloin Yukke" and "Number One Sirloin Yukke with Green Onions and Salt." The sirloin yukke was a luxurious dish made with high-quality beef, offering a smooth and delicious taste. We also enjoyed the KINTAN Caesar salad, Hida beef tongue & kalbi, and the exclusive Platinum Tongue. We couldn't resist ordering the tongue comparison set and the "Zabutoro," a Harajuku specialty. To top it off, we surprised our friend with a meat cake for her birthday. Overall, the food was delicious, and we had a great time enjoying the various meat dishes at KINTAN.

Cascade Harajuku, located near JR Yamanote Line Harajuku Station, accommodated us in a private room even though we made a same-day reservation with children. The lunch course of Sirloin Yukhoe for ¥4500 was excellent! The course included: - Japan's best Sirloin Yukhoe half & half - A comparison of aged KINTAN meats - Black Wagyu upper kalbi - Black Wagyu rump - Black Wagyu shoulder loin - Beef sagari - Dessert The cost performance was great, especially the Sirloin Yukhoe was exquisite!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the variety of meats available were very delicious! The size of the meat was large, and the seasoning was great, so it became my favorite. I often go there for lunch, and the lunch set is a great deal with generous portions and very delicious. Every time I go, I feel like it's delicious. It's always crowded, so it's hard to get in without a reservation. I recommend making a reservation in advance.

I didn't order a course, but instead chose dishes a la carte. The quality of the meat was very good, and everything I ate was delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was also very nice, with a casual feel that would be suitable for dates, business dinners, or just everyday dining. It was a shop full of hospitality. The staff's thoughtfulness was wonderful. When I mentioned my allergies, the staff worked together to accommodate me. The lunch was cost-effective and had a good portion size. I was glad I made a reservation as there was a line before opening. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy yakiniku in a calm atmosphere even during lunchtime.

I entered the restaurant around 11:50 AM and by 12:05 PM, there was a waitlist. A group of tourists also came in, filling up the spacious restaurant. The lunch menu had changed since my last visit, with toppings for curry no longer available. The prices range around 2000 yen. The meat tasted good but not exceptional. Salad, soup, and rice are all you can eat, so it's nice to fill up on those without relying on carbs.

The atmosphere is not like Harajuku, but it's a relaxed place where even adults can enjoy a meal. The beef tartare and yukhoe were very delicious. The alcohol is reasonably priced, and the wine bottles are also affordable. However, like many other restaurants, there seems to be a shortage of staff as it was difficult to place orders and the food took a long time to be served, which was disappointing.

I asked for a meat cake for my birthday! It was very splendid and made me happy, but there were 4 slices or 5 slices even though there are 3 of us... Maybe they can't make a meat cake for just 3 people, or maybe they couldn't prepare it according to the number of people, so I deducted one star... I'm sorry. However, they also brought out a dessert that we didn't order on a plate, and we were surprised and happy! Thank you for thinking and preparing various things! The price is high, so I can't go except for special occasions, but I felt like it was a service charge! The yukhoe was delicious too! I want to go again!

I visited a restaurant called KINTAN, where I ordered the 30-day aged Triple Yakiniku Set for 2,980 yen. I made a reservation for 11:00 on a holiday and found the restaurant located on the basement floor of a building, accessible by an outside staircase. The interior was modern and clean, with several rooms and about 10 four-person tables in the space to the left of the entrance. I chose the Triple Yakiniku Set from the lunch menu, which came with unlimited rice, salad, and soup, as well as a daily homemade dessert. I also ordered a lemon sour as it was a holiday and drinks were on a one-drink basis. The salad dressing had two options, apple and chogeri, and I chose apple. For the rice, I selected the five-grain option. By registering on the KINTAN app, I received a complimentary kimchi and namul platter. The soup, a tomato cream soup, had a nice balance of tomato acidity and creaminess. The salad featured lettuce with a tangy apple dressing. The meat arrived about 15 minutes later, consisting of the signature aged tongue, premium black wagyu kalbi, and prime harami. The aged tongue had a crispy texture and paired well with the negi sauce. The wagyu kalbi was very fatty, tender, and juicy. The prime harami was thick, tender, and flavorful with a good balance of meat and fat. The dessert was a matcha mousse with whipped cream and red bean paste.

This is a shop located in a building underground, just a short walk from JR Harajuku Station. The interior is stylish with indirect lighting and decorative objects. The staff were quick and seemed well-trained. They have a good selection of drinks that go well with grilled meat, and everyone seemed to enjoy the draft beer. I have been to KINTAN's affiliated stores before, but this was my first time trying KINTAN's yakiniku. I made a reservation and arrived right at the opening time of 6 p.m. I didn't have a course reservation, but I was recommended the Rich Course, so I went for it. Here is what I had: [Appetizer] - Assorted Kimchi (Chinese cabbage, cream cheese kimchi, pickled plum) [Specialty Dish] - Wagyu nigiri sushi * For an additional fee, you can upgrade to Japan's top sirloin yukhoe at H & H. [Tongue] - KINTAN 30-day aged tongue [Salad] - Tofu squeezed sesame oil and Salanova lettuce choregi salad [Salted Meat] - Wagyu black beef upper kalbi - Wagyu black beef shin tama - Wagyu black beef shoulder triangle - Sagari [Palate Cleanser] - Vinegar citrus ice-cold noodles [Finishing Meat] - Wagyu black beef zabuton with sudare steak [Meal] - THE KINTAN Curry [Desert] - KINTAN Basque cheesecake As a bonus, the first drink was a free draft beer with a coupon. The highlight was the Wagyu nigiri sushi, which I upgraded to Japan's top sirloin yukhoe for an additional charge. Here are my thoughts on each dish: - The cream cheese kimchi in the appetizer was delicious. - The sirloin yukhoe in the specialty dish was amazing. - I felt like I didn't need all three types of tongue. - The salad was tasty. - All the salted meats were delicious. - The palate cleanser was refreshing. - The finishing meat looked impressive, but unfortunately, it was burnt when cooked by the staff. - The meal was small but satisfying. - The dessert was a bit heavy, so I would have preferred ice cream instead. Overall, I won't be visiting again due to poor service from the staff and poor value for money, but I would recommend it for a date night.

The presentation of the beef was impressive and got me excited even before eating. The green onion sauce was delicious. I also tried the Matsusaka beef kalbi and KINTAN salt harami, but the premium sirloin was my favorite. While the set menus are good value, I was satisfied just eating the meats I wanted.

I visited at night and the place was beautifully lit up, creating a nice atmosphere. The interior is spacious, with enough seating for about 100 people at tables. There are no private rooms, so the overall vibe is casual and pleasant for enjoying yakiniku. They offer a variety of drinks including beer, sour cocktails, and a selection of wines. I relied on the recommendations of the staff and tried a few individual items, all of which were delicious. They also offer a number of courses, featuring dishes like yukhoe and 30-day aged tongue, all of which were tasty.

I tried the Spring course until 4/9! It seemed like a good deal considering all the different types of food included, but the grilled meats were not my favorite cuts overall. Personally, I enjoyed the special Yukke, Sukiyaki, and meat sushi the most. I forgot to take pictures of the cold noodles and dessert, but they were delicious. One downside was that the course took almost until 22:30, which felt a bit too long. Even though they were just bringing out uncooked meat, the pacing was important. I requested to have everything brought out towards the end, but the pace didn't really change. It made me realize the importance of tempo in a BBQ setting.

This is my fourth visit and I feel like it's a great place to celebrate something special without breaking the bank. It's a bit pricier compared to cheaper yakiniku restaurants, but the taste is delicious and it has a special atmosphere. There's no need to dress up fancy like at a high-end restaurant, so you can go in casual clothes and it's easy to visit for both dinner and lunch.

If you're looking to take your growing boys or nephews out for lunch at a yakiniku restaurant, this is the place to go. You can get unlimited rice, soup, and salad refills. The soup changes daily and is always different, and the salad dressing is delicious. You can choose between white rice or five-grain rice, both of which are tasty. Even my husband, who is picky about rice being a rice farmer, loves the white rice here. Today, I took my two sons here for lunch. We ordered the beef tongue set, the large yakiniku set, and the yakiniku & domestic beef hormone set to share among us. We also used the KINTAN app to get drinks this time. The meat is all delicious as expected. This was my first time trying the hormone meat here, and it was so tasty. I feel lucky to be able to eat at this level for this price. My eldest son only eats with salt and pepper, so we always ask for those as well. We prefer the sauce, but eating with just salt and pepper is also good. Dessert is included as well. I also visit the Ebisu branch, but I find the Harajuku branch the most convenient. I used to come to KINTAN once a month, but I moved to a different city and can't do that anymore, which is a shame. Today, my sons ate most of the meat, so next time I'll come alone and enjoy it myself.笑

I visited after playing soccer in Yoyogi Park. I ordered the lunch set and carpaccio. Salad, soup, and rice are free refills. The cost performance is good. The interior has a luxurious feel and is calming. I will visit again.
