Visited on a Sunday morning. Purchased a peach and Earl Grey canelé for 390 yen. The shop is quite small, with space for just one person to enter. The small displays are stylish and cute. When you take a bite, you can taste the sweet peach and Earl Grey aroma spreading. The outside is soft, but the inside is moist and delicious, a truly luxurious treat. Even just one canelé brings a high level of satisfaction. It's great for gifts as well. They accept various cashless payments. Satisfaction level at the time of visit: ==========

The canelés I tried were cute and had a nice appearance. I tried plain, peach and earl grey, matcha, and hojicha flavors. The reviews mentioned that the outside was crispy while the inside was semi-soft, but the ones I bought had a softer exterior than expected. Since canelés are topped with sauce or chocolate, the humidity may increase, affecting the crispiness. Each maker has their own selling point, so I enjoyed them while understanding this. The hojicha flavor was delicious, but the topping was hard, making it difficult to eat. The peach and earl grey had a wonderful earl grey aroma. However, I still prefer plain canelés. Those who enjoy moist canelés will definitely like them.

Located near Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, this place is decorated with dried flowers both on the exterior and on the ceiling of the interior. They use seasonal fruits and ingredients to create over 8 different flavors of canelés. Each canelé is carefully handmade, and when all flavors are gathered, they look like a beautiful bouquet of flowers, making them a perfect gift. - Address: 1F YM Square Harajuku, 4-31-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo - Business hours: Mon-Fri 11:00-19:00, Sat-Sun-Holidays 10:00-19:00 - Payment methods: Electronic money, PayPay Menu: Orange Canelé, etc. Eatery rating on Tabelog: 3.32 Estimated cost: 1,500 yen Instagram ID: tam_gourmet_

I like canelés, and I received them as a souvenir! The flavors were plain, hojicha, and raspberry & cocoa. The outside was quite firm with a crunchy texture, while the inside was very moist. My personal favorite is the plain one! Next time, I want to try the coffee flavor too!

The restaurant is located in a very small shop that is hard to find using a map (it is not inside a building but on the street). The outside is crispy, while the inside is soft and delicious. I bought a lot, so I also had some the next day, but the crispiness was gone by then, so I recommend eating it on the day of purchase.

I felt like eating canelés, so I revisited this shop. Canelés have been gaining popularity recently and even appearing in convenience store sweets, but the taste is definitely different from a specialty shop. This time, I got peach and earl grey, coconut, and orange chocolate flavors. They were all wonderful, with a perfect balance of crispy outside and soft inside. It was just right and amazing.

I visited this place on the weekend. I had heard about it from an acquaintance before, so I was keeping an eye out for it. The shop itself is small and easy to miss. Only one person can enter at a time. Luckily, there were no other customers at the time, so I went in and placed my order. I had the half-baked plain canelé and a coffee. The canelé had a crispy outer layer and a moist inside. I tried two flavors this time, but the half-baked plain was especially delicious. Personally, I wish this place had a more prominent location. Well, the staff were a bit strange, but overall, it was a great meal.

The recommended flavors by the staff were plain, peach, and Earl Grey. The outside was not crispy but soft, while the inside was half-cooked and sweet. The rum flavor was almost undetectable, which might be good for those who don't like it. The Earl Grey aroma was noticeable and nice. The mochi was slightly small and easy to eat. The hojicha and coffee flavors are also delicious, according to the review. Among the four limited-time flavors, only one was sold out while the others were still available. The shop may be a bit hard to find (on a weekday evening).

Bob@Harajuku, Omotesando, Meiji Jingu-mae (@bob_harajuku) I took out 'Half-baked Canale', 'Canale Matcha', 'Canale Coconut', 'Canale Truffle' Canale specialty store. There was also an eat-in space using the space under the stairs. Canale that emphasizes the sticky texture overall. Depending on the item, we recommend re-baking for those who want to enjoy the crusty texture. 'Half-baked Canale' As the name suggests, it is a half-baked Canale with a sticky inside. You can enjoy the crispy outside. Re-baking is recommended. The rum is not strong, and the strong vanilla aroma and the taste of pudding-like taste were very pleasing. 'Canale Matcha' A flavored Canale with plenty of matcha kneaded. The matcha is thick, and the soft aroma and bitterness are delicious, satisfying even for matcha lovers. 'Canale Coconut' The Canale itself is normal, with coconut sprinkled on the outside. The combination of coconut aroma and crispy texture is fresh and delicious. 'Canale Truffle' This is by far my favorite Canale this time. It's a surprising combination. It's a Canale that tastes like a cheese with a unique taste similar to blue cheese. I think it's a perfect match for those who like sweet and salty and unique flavors. The combination of the sticky Canale and the rich truffle creates a richer dessert. Thank you for the meal. I went to buy for a picnic at Yoyogi Park. Each item was a good size, and although the sweetness was subtle to enhance the taste of the tea and fruits, they were delicious. They also sell sets, so bringing them to a friend's house would be appreciated.

I felt like eating something sweet, so I came here. They cost around 350 to 600 yen each. Pretty expensive, huh? It's like the price of a cake! I haven't had canelé much before, but I tried the normal, coffee, and strawberry ones. They all have a distinct flavor and taste delicious, but the normal one is the best! It's moist and tasty. Thank you for the meal!

I went out for takeout with a friend. Canelé is a cute sweet that is difficult to make on your own, so whenever I find a shop, I can't help but want to go! The taste of this shop is delicious, of course, but when it comes to appearance, it's just too cute!! ♡ Thank you for the meal.

I took out three kinds of canelés: truffle, plain, and berry. Inside, there seemed to be something like a brûlée, so I thought it would be crispy and creamy if I microwaved it and then toasted it. I was too hungry and ended up eating it in a rush. I wonder if the batter is different for each flavor, as the truffle canelé not only had truffle butter on top but also a slight truffle aroma in the batter. The berry flavor was a bit lacking though. However, the truffle canelé is a bit expensive.

I haven't really liked canelés before and never thought they were that delicious, but recently I was influenced by the canelé boom and decided to try these half-baked canelés. I was surprised! The outside was crispy, while the inside was soft and, as the name suggests, half-baked and very delicious. On this day, I bought half-baked plain and half-baked coconut, but personally, I thought the half-baked coconut was tastier. They are a bit pricey for their size, but they were so delicious that I still want to buy them again.

Half-baked canelé plain for 270 yen. It's not too sweet, with a slightly chewy outer layer that complements the rich and delicious custard filling. The texture is pleasantly chewy and satisfying.

I had a luxurious canelé, and I paid for it myself! There are famous shops in Kansai, but there aren't many here, so I splurged in Harajuku, near Laforet. I relied on Google to find the place, but I couldn't locate it. Eventually, I asked the Adidas guy in front, and he pointed me to a quiet spot along the side street. I ended up buying 5 canelés! I tried the peach, Earl Grey, matcha, and hojicha flavors, each for 330 yen. The one I really wanted to try, coconut, was sold out. There was also a whole large chestnut canelé for 500 yen. And then, against my better judgment, I overheard some ladies in line raving about the roast beef canelé and ended up buying it for 440 yen. In total, it cost 1,930 yen... quite pricey! I tried half of each flavor. The peach and Earl Grey was my favorite. The adventurous roast beef canelé wasn't bad, but I think I prefer them separately. It was tasty, but maybe a bit too high-end for me!

◆◆Shonan Kazuya's SNS Information◆◆TwitterInstagramBlog◆◆Review Content Here◆◆Weekday Foodie Adventures Off WorkDecember Early December Foodie ReviewOn this day, I had a hair salon appointment in Omotesando, so I decided to do some foodie adventures before heading to the salon. To start off, I decided to buy some souvenirs before heading back. I visited a shop called "Cannele Specialty Store boB," located about a 2-minute walk east from exit 5 of Meiji-jingumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and Fukutoshin Line. This shop specializes in half-baked canneles and was opened in April 2021 by Chef Moriwaki from the Italian restaurant "boB the garden Ginza (formerly AURUM+truffle)" in Ginza, where the half-baked cannele originated. I visited this shop to buy souvenirs for a friend who loves canneles. In addition to traditional canneles, they offer over 8 varieties of half-baked canneles that incorporate seasonal fruits, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients, attracting cannele enthusiasts. The shop is a small space with only a sales area, and since there were already customers ahead of me, I waited outside before entering. The display shelf at the store had canneles, and I chose the items to take home. I ordered gifts and personal treats, and the items I bought this time were as follows:・Wagyu Roast Beef ×1・Truffle Cannele ×1・Whole Large Chestnut Cannele ×3・Peach and Earl Grey Cannele ×2・Plain Cannele ×1・Coffee Cannele ×1・Spice and Orange Cannele ×1・Raspberry and Cocoa Cannele ×1I brought them home immediately.※I will only review the canneles I tried myself.●Truffle CanneleThis cannele is made by kneading summer truffle from Tuscany into the dough and adding white truffle oil for flavor. It also includes Hokkaido cream cheese in the dough, resulting in a crispy exterior and a smooth, melty interior. The rich truffle flavor and refreshing cream cheese blend well, creating a delicious cannele.●Wagyu Roast BeefThis cannele is cut in half and filled with roast beef made from Wagyu beef thigh meat, combined with salted kelp sauce. It inherits the concept of deli-style muffins that have been increasing in popularity. The cannele has a crispy exterior and a smooth interior like other products, and the juicy roast beef pairs well with it. The salted kelp flavor enhances the depth of the cannele's flavor.●Whole Large Chestnut CanneleThis cannele wraps a whole candied chestnut in the center. It maintains the texture of a half-baked cannele, with a strong flavor and richness from butter and rum, resulting in a very delicious cannele. Canneles are widely available in bakeries and sweet shops, but there aren't many options in terms of variety. In that sense, this shop introduces a new aspect of canneles. As depicted in the shop's logo, the cute canneles resemble flowers, and having all varieties creates a bouquet-like visual. Not having tried the plain cannele, it may have a slightly different atmosphere from the traditional cannele. However, I think the unique aspect of the half-baked cannele as a product is not bad. There are also unique deli-style canneles, which may be a matter of personal preference, so trying the sweet products is a safe choice.【Cannele Specialty Store boB Harajuku】4-31-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, TokyoYM Square Harajuku 1FTel: 03-4400-1556Mon-Fri 11:00-19:00Sat-Sun/Holidays 10:00-19:00Closed on the third Tuesday

I got takeout from a stall at Lumine. Plain: The surface is not too crispy, more moist. When I tried it, the texture was moist and not too heavy, with a fragrant and rich taste. Orange and Spice: The refreshing sweetness of orange combined with the exotic flavor of spices is very delicious. Peach and Earl Grey: The moist and bouncy dough has a great Earl Grey flavor, and the peach goes really well with it, making it delicious.

I heard rumors about a newly opened specialty canelé shop and decided to check it out! I love canelés, but the shop seemed too quiet at first! Even though the building had the tenant's name on the sign, I couldn't find the shop anywhere. I started to worry that it had closed down so soon... But after wandering around the building, I finally found it hidden behind a crepe shop! The atmosphere of the shop is very cute, but it's tiny! Only one person can enter at a time, and they only sell at the counter. On this day, I had already bought a lot of other things, so I decided to start with the basic half-baked canelé. I thought it would be small, but it was even tinier than I expected! However, when I tried it, the texture was very soft and half-baked. Oh, I might actually like the taste. Personally, I wish the outside was a bit crispier, but it was still delicious! I would like to try other flavors as well. There were some that were quite expensive though... I'm not sure about paying 1000 yen for that size... I prefer something at a more reasonable price! Thank you for the meal!
