Mikasa Deco is known for its fluffy souffle dough, but their chewy butter milk dough is also delicious. I tried their limited edition Apple Caramel Brulee Pancake for ¥1800. The top had a homemade custard cream with a crispy brulee finish. The apple jam between the layers and on the side was sweet and tangy. The leaf cookie had a roasted green tea flavor, adding an extra dimension. The chantilly cream had a hint of saltiness, which complemented the dish well. The caramel sauce on the side was rich and sweet, perfect for drizzling over the apples. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Thank you to the staff at Mikasa Deco.

Chestnut Mont Blanc Pancake ¥2000 at Mikasa Deco was a delightful treat. The pancake had a fluffy texture with plenty of chestnuts blended into the batter. It consisted of three layers of slightly sweet and fragrant batter, topped with hojicha cookies, muscat grapes, chestnuts, pear chantilly, and chestnut cream. The chestnut cream was rich and flavorful, making the pancake a perfect autumn treat. However, be careful as the chantilly cream may slide off the hot pancake. Despite accidentally mixing the Mont Blanc cream with caramel sauce from a neighboring dish, the overall taste was still enjoyable. The atmosphere at the restaurant felt like being abroad, with mostly foreign customers present. The staff was friendly and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the delicious meal! Location: 1F, 6-13-2 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Operating hours: Weekdays 11:00-18:00 (Last order 17:00), Weekends and holidays 10:00-19:00 (Last order 18:00). Closed on unspecified dates (please confirm with the store).

Mikasa Deco in Jingumae is a shop featured in the book "Ultimate Sweets 60" that caught my attention. I visited on a Sunday at 1:30 PM and didn't have to wait in line. I ordered the fluffy ricotta pancake for 1450 yen, and the eggs benedict for 1500 yen, along with ginger tea and green tea. The pancake took 30 minutes to arrive. The stack of three pancakes was a lot, so my companion and I decided to share. The pancakes were light and fluffy, with a slight doughy texture remaining. They weren't overly sweet and had a simple flavor that I really enjoyed. They were so good that I wanted more even after finishing half. The separate maple syrup provided was unnecessary as the pancakes were delicious on their own. The whipped cream-like topping had a slightly salty taste (like cheese), which I found to be okay, but my husband, who prefers pancakes to be more well-done, wasn't as impressed. The eggs benedict and drinks were average. The salad that came with the eggs benedict had a nice, flavorful dressing and was tasty.

I had a craving for pancakes after a long time, so I looked it up and found these pancakes that looked fluffy and delicious, so I decided to visit the restaurant. It was during the holiday season, so I thought I might have to wait longer, but I was able to be seated right away as the first in line. The exterior and interior of the restaurant had a cute vibe that would appeal to girls. Personally, I liked that despite being in Tokyo, there was enough space between tables. The staff were also kind and pleasant. I ordered the following two items:
- Fluffy Ricotta Cheese Pancake
- Pink Grapefruity Soda
The Ricotta Cheese Pancake was incredibly fluffy, not too sweet, and very delicious. It might be my favorite pancake I've ever had! I wished it was a bit bigger, maybe about 2/3 of the size, but this size might be just right for teenagers to early twenties. It wasn't too heavy, so I managed to finish it all. The Pink Grapefruity Soda looked very sweet from its appearance, so I was worried it might be too sweet, but it had a nice bitterness to it that complemented the pancake well. Plus, it looked cute, which was a bonus. Next time, I'd like to try some of their rice-based dishes. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant around 1:40 PM on a weekday. We waited for about 20 minutes as the second group in line before being seated. Even after we arrived, more and more customers joined the queue. Many tourists from overseas were also seen at the popular spot I often see on Instagram. Everyone seemed to be ordering the ricotta pancakes. I opted for the seasonal special:
Peach & Passion Fruit Pancakes - 1800 yen
The pancakes were fluffy and had a refreshing taste, which I finished in no time. I thought it would be nice if they also provided maple syrup to drizzle over the plain pancakes.

I ordered three types of pancakes. The ricotta cheese pancake was soft and fluffy, melting in my mouth. It was delicious! I wanted to have lunch as well, but they only served pancake menu for some reason, which was disappointing. I checked on Instagram before going, but they should have also announced it on social media.

Ricotta cheese pancake with vanilla ice cream for 270 yen and chantilly topping for 160 yen. The pancake has ricotta cheese inside, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It's a bit moist but has a good melt-in-your-mouth texture. It has a nice flavor of eggs, butter, and ricotta cheese. The ice cream is rich and creamy with a sherbet-like texture. The chantilly topping is also rich and creamy, with a strong taste and a hint of saltiness. Overall, the flavors are bold and heavy.

I lined up before 11 a.m. on Sunday and waited for 1 hour to enter. It was worth it because the food was delicious! The cookie choux was very fragrant, and the pancakes were fluffy. I could eat them endlessly. I would definitely line up again to eat there!

I think the restaurant is easy to find. There were about 3 groups of people waiting in line ahead of me. I noticed that there were many foreign customers, so I thought it must be a popular place. I ordered risotto, which was satisfying with a generous portion. I wanted to order pancakes afterwards, but I found out there was a 90-minute time limit, so I had to give up. The staff members were polite and left a good impression. This may not be the best place if you want to have a leisurely chat or have a meal in a calm environment.

I visited because I wanted to eat fluffy pancakes. The pancakes took 30 minutes to cook and were delicious. I was shocked to see the shadow of my phone in the photo. The pancakes were quite wobbly as shown in the video, it felt like an earthquake. I arrived after 5 pm and the restaurant was crowded, but luckily there was one seat available. There was only one man in the restaurant. The pancakes were not too sweet and easy to eat. They also had limited edition pancakes, so I will try those next time!

I arrived around 13:30 on Sunday and there were already about 4 groups waiting in line. I waited for about 45 minutes from there. I was chatting with my friends so time flew by, but it's definitely a popular place. It seemed like it was the time for turnover because when I entered, all the people behind me entered at once too. The brown rice cheese risotto was delicious with a nice firmness to the risotto and rich cheese flavor. The fluffy pancakes were also amazing, similar to the Rainbow Pancakes but the cream here was not overly sweet. Thank you for the meal!

While taking a stroll on Omotesando, I happened to come across a shop with a long line, so I decided to wait in line for about 30 minutes to get in. The shop is famous for its fluffy pancakes made with ricotta cheese, so I ordered the ricotta cheese pancake and a regular pancake with omelette and sausage. The regular pancake was honestly just average, but the ricotta cheese pancake was beyond fluffy, it was jiggly. It seemed like the shop had been featured on some overseas social media, as there were many foreigners. The two girls next to me were saying "so happy" as they ate, while the foreign couple next to them were saying "happy♪". Pancakes seem to bring happiness to people. I also got a "puffin," which is the ricotta cheese pancake batter baked in a muffin tin, to go. It was delicious biting into the jiggly batter. The pancake journey seems like it will continue for a while.

I went to have Ricotta Pancakes after a long time on Valentine's Day. Last time I had strawberry with whipped cream, so this time I tried the normal one. The Happy Valentine Day message on the pancakes was cute.

I was captivated by the seasonal limited menu, even though the standard menu options were good as well. When it comes to pancakes, there are generally two types: fluffy and chewy. Most people in the restaurant were ordering pancakes, despite there being a variety of meal options available. I visited around 10 am on a holiday and there was already a line outside the shop. We had to wait for about 5 minutes to be seated, as there were still some available tables inside. The atmosphere was lively and bustling, typical of a holiday. I ordered the Fluffy Milk Chocolate Valentine's Pancake (1750 yen), which was said to have a 40-minute wait time. The visual presentation was cute, with plenty of chocolate to give off a Valentine's Day vibe. The pancake was topped with crunchy chocolate, chocolate-coated orange, meringue, and strawberries, providing a variety of flavors to enjoy without getting bored. The pancake was fluffy rather than crispy, and despite looking voluminous, it was quickly devoured. The service was attentive even amidst the busy crowd, with prompt refills of water. This is a place that makes you want to come back every time they change their limited menu items.

Located a little off Cat Street in Omotesando, this shop has moved here. The exterior is super simple and cute, while the interior is small with only table seating. The atmosphere is simple and cute too. The fluffy ricotta pancake for 1350 yen is a classic choice. When it arrives, it's fluffy and jiggly. The fluffy pancake has a delicious ricotta cheese flavor that spreads in your mouth. It's a tasty pancake that allows you to savor the ricotta cheese flavor without being overwhelmed by the meringue-like texture.

■Restaurant Information
When strolling around Omotesando, you suddenly crave pancakes. Feeling that way today, I visited Mikasa Deco & Cafe, a popular spot known for its fluffy pancakes. I ordered the most popular Ricotta Cheese Pancakes.
■What I Ate
- Fluffy Ricotta Cheese Pancakes ¥1350
- Red Fruit Tea Soda ¥600
The order arrived in about 30 minutes. The pancakes were steaming hot and looked delicious. The fluffy pancakes, topped with plenty of maple syrup and whipped cream, melted in my mouth. They were not too sweet, making them easy to eat compared to the ones at Chaka in Kitasenju. Also, the prices here are more affordable. However, the drink portion was a bit small, only filling half the cup. They should be more generous with that. Overall, I recommend this place for a date.

Mikasa Deco Cafe's Vanilla-scented Strawberry Fluffy Pancake and White Chocolate Strawberry Pancake are available until December 25th. The Vanilla-scented Strawberry Fluffy Pancake has a fluffy souffle batter with strawberries mixed in, giving a subtle strawberry aroma. It is topped with homemade vanilla cream and served with two types of yogurt sauce and white chocolate sauce on the side. The fruit decoration includes strawberries and berries. The limited edition Santa Claus decoration was available on December 24th and 25th. Mikasa Deco Cafe is known for its fluffy souffle batter, but the chewy buttermilk batter is also delicious. The White Chocolate and Strawberry Pancake is topped with homemade white sauce and comes with both plain and raspberry chantilly cream. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for lunch on my birthday celebration day. When it comes to Harajuku, is it pancakes? I forgot to take the supplements that don't make me gain weight, so I had yogurt granola, which is good for my body. Good things for the body make me feel good. It was not only good for my body but also very delicious. If I have the opportunity to go to Harajuku again, I will visit. Thank you for the delicious pancakes and granola. Thank you very much.

I visited @micasadecocafejingumae in front of Meiji Shrine for the first time! I originally wanted to try their plain pancakes, but since I was doing a Halloween tour this time, I decided to go for the seasonal option.
I chose the Pumpkin Monster Black Cocoa Pancakes for 1750 yen. There were two options, but I was drawn to the fluffy texture of this one! It was a weekday, so even at around 2 pm, they still had some left. After a 30-minute wait, the incredibly cute pancakes arrived! The fluffy texture was amazing! The black currant berry sauce was delicious and added a nice touch. Next time, I need to go try the plain pancakes!
