I ordered the most popular pork sauté and the second most popular tonkatsu. The chef at the counter took precooked pork and fried it, then grilled it, and served it quickly. The pork sauté was delicious with tender meat and amazing sauce that made the rice even more enjoyable. The tonkatsu was tender and flavorful due to the low-temperature cooking. Another person ordered the roast pork bowl, which wasn't in the picture, but it had a raw egg yolk on top and was definitely delicious. The curry must be delicious too, so I will definitely order it next time, maybe even through UberEats! Highly recommended. Thank you for the meal!

A pork restaurant located about a 7-minute walk from Nakano Station. They offer set meals for dinner, which is rare. I ordered the pork shoulder loin steak set meal. It was cooked at a low temperature. The flavor on its own is a bit light, but it's delicious when eaten with salt, sweet soy sauce, and wasabi. It's a good deal and has a nice variety of menu options.

Today was my last cheat day! From now on, I have to be careful for the next 14 days. I really wanted to eat tonkatsu, so I came here. It was thick, sweet, and very filling. It was delicious! It was crowded because it was lunchtime! Thank you for the meal!

I ordered the "Low-temperature cooked Thick Pork Steak (300g)" at Twitell Porkman Lucky Pork Man, a 5-minute walk from Nakano Station North Exit. The dish came with rice, soup, shredded cabbage, tomato, and pickles on a silver plate, with 6-7 thick slices of pork. The taste was great, not too strong, with a delicious garlic and shaliapin sauce. I also want to try the Pork Ginger and Pork Cutlet Curry next time!

I had the Roast Pork Bowl at Lucky Pig Man. I chose this dish because the other menu items seemed too large, but the meat was very tender and delicious. There was a satisfying amount of meat piled on top, and I really enjoyed it. Even if you eat the meat heartily, you won't have leftover rice. The seasoning was also tasty. If you're hungry, you might be okay with getting a large serving of rice. (Photo shows regular size)

The pork tongue carpaccio cooked at low temperature was delicious, and I also had tonkatsu, sweet and sour pork, steak, and hormone dishes. Overall, it was tasty and reasonably priced. However, it didn't quite reach the level of famous restaurants' tonkatsu, sweet and sour pork, or steak. It's good for a decent and accessible dining experience.

We ordered Tonkatsu Curry (1100 yen, tax included), Pork Cutlet (250 grams, 1100 yen), and Tonkatsu (a la carte, 150 grams, 850 yen) for two people. We visited around 3:00 PM, just before the lunch menu ended at 4:00 PM. Lunch comes with soup and rice as a set. When we asked if the Pork Cutlet could be ordered a la carte, they said yes, but it turned out we could only remove the rice and other sides from the set. The Tonkatsu came with a sweet and savory shariapin sauce with onions, and the meat was cooked at a low temperature, resulting in a tender texture that didn't feel like pork. It was delicious. The Curry was also very tasty, with just the right amount of spices that complemented the cutlet well. We added some salt to the cutlet and enjoyed it. The soup in the set was Onion Consomme, similar to what you would get on JAL or ANA flights, and we had seconds. Overall, it's a great place where you can enjoy delicious pork at a reasonable price.

I ordered the 150g set of Tonkatsu that was labeled as the most popular. I paid on the spot after ordering. The thick-cut Tonkatsu was very tender. I debated getting the 300g portion but I'm glad I stuck with the 150g as it was quite filling. However, the rice was a bit disappointing. I visited on a weekday just before noon and the restaurant was almost full. By the time I left, there were people waiting for seats.

I'm back again. My purpose is different this time, but perhaps this place has become the destination. I forgot that the lunch set with a time limit seemed like a good deal last time, so I ordered the 250g tonkatsu again. This week, they had miso tonkatsu, 300g for the same price. I hesitated, but once the food arrived, I forgot all about it. First, I took a bite with tonkatsu sauce. It's good, the thick meat has a satisfying texture and the tanginess of the mustard is irresistible. The edges are tough to chew due to the gristle. Now, I'll try it with salt. It has a nice flavor like rock salt. No matter how much I shake from the salt container, only a little comes out from the small hole. Ah! The cap on the other side opens up to reveal a large hole where a lot of salt can be poured out. It's easier to chew and eat from the second piece onwards. Oh, it's delicious. I can't tell if the low-temperature cooking makes a difference, but it sure is tasty. It's delicious but not delicious. I can't choose any other lunch option besides here. Thank you for the meal! I only talked about salt.

The restaurant is very delicious, the pork is very fragrant, the portion is large, and the meat is very tender and juicy! The seating is not limited, but the non-dining seats are also full, showing its popularity. Isn't the garlic rice on top of the meat also delicious!

Today I visited "Kouuntu Butanin" in Nakano. Since the original restaurant I was aiming for was temporarily closed, I decided to visit this place that I had bookmarked. I chose the most popular dish, the low-temperature cooked thick pork steak 300g (1,100 yen). I paid in advance and waited for my order. Despite the crowd, the service was faster than I expected. They quickly seared the low-temperature cooked pork shoulder and served it. The thick slices of pork shoulder came with a shariapin sauce and garlic chips. It paired well with rice, but made me crave a beer... I resisted the urge and took a bite. The meat had a satisfying chewiness without being too tough. The shariapin sauce had a strong flavor, with a punch of garlic aroma. I couldn't help but scoop rice into my mouth. It went well with pickles too. Soup and rice are refillable once, and you can also get a large portion of rice. For 1,100 yen, I think it's a good deal. If I visit again, I'll try the tonkatsu. Definitely recommended.

The pork teppanyaki I had was a different kind of deliciousness from any I've had before. I was surprised at first to see that the meat still had a bit of pinkness to it, as I always thought pork had to be fully cooked. But when I tried it, it was really tender and tasty, and even if my stomach ended up hurting later, I wouldn't regret it. (Of course, my stomach was fine.) The rice was also delicious. The restaurant was crowded and the seats were a bit cramped, so I would recommend it more for those looking to enjoy a hearty meat feast rather than a quiet meal.

Pork [Lucky Pig Man Tsui-teru! Pork man] Nakano-ku, Nakano 5-50-5. Tonkatsu 300g. Half rice. After finishing my workout, I was craving protein, and the mashed potatoes under the meat provided a good balance. It was very delicious. I had my first meeting in Nakano and decided to have a late lunch at Koufuku Butaperson after the meeting ended around 2 pm. I ordered the pork cutlet curry for 1100 yen. Even though it was peak hour, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The pork cutlet was delicious!

On February 12, 2023, my wife and I decided to try out the lunch menu at "Koufuku Butanin," a restaurant we had only visited once for dinner when it first opened. We arrived at 12:17 PM and found three groups of six customers already seated. We ordered the Low-Temperature Cooked Thick Pork Steak (300g for 1100 yen each). You could choose from small (100g), medium (200g), or large (300g) rice portions, and we chose large and medium. The pork steak was pre-cooked and only needed to be reheated for lunch. The meat, made from shoulder loin, was tender but had some noticeable sinew. The Sharipian sauce had a slight sweetness that complemented the rice well. The crispy fried garlic added a nice touch. The soup was a rich consomme soup. The rice was a bit dry and hard. Although we didn't ask for it this time, they offer free refills for rice and soup, which is a nice service for those who want to eat to their heart's content.

Thick-cut pork steak cooked at low temperature for 850 yen at "Kouun Butsujin" in Nakano. I arrived late for lunch in Nakano and had three remaining restaurants I wanted to try. One was closed, another had finished serving lunch, so I ended up here behind Broadway. There were some empty seats at the counter, so I sat there. I opted for the 150g thick-cut pork steak cooked at low temperature. The rice portion was small. Payment was made in advance. It's amazing how far low-temperature cooking has come, but now it's becoming harder to differentiate with no added value. I wonder if young people who enjoy this texture would be open to cultured or synthetic meat in the future. Their sense of food is quite strong. I enjoyed the tender and light rare texture of the pork. Oh, and the soup that came with it was very delicious.

I want to eat tonkatsu because I am a pork person. I like places like Katsuya or Saboten where cabbage is the main dish. However, I can't eat extremely thick tonkatsu at these places. The thickness is different. This is my first time here, but based on reviews, I had high expectations for the thickness and hurried from the station. I was seated right away when I arrived. I ordered the popular No. 2 item, the thick rare cutlet, 250g. It was served quickly for its thickness. They seem to boil the meat first and then fry it. This way, they only need to focus on frying without worrying about cooking the meat inside. The thick cutlet is indeed impressive. The edges are square-shaped and it's hard to tell the orientation due to the breading. I tried the first bite with sauce. The light sauce goes well with the spiciness. However, since my mouth is full of meat, the smell is a bit noticeable. I prefer it with salt. It's delicious. I want to try adding wasabi. The medium rice was finished completely. Thank you for the meal. The cold water is also delicious. I want to come back again. I gave four stars for the first time. Because I am a pork person.

A friend told me about a delicious restaurant, so I decided to check it out. They serve thick and tender cuts of meat prepared with low-temperature cooking. I enjoyed three dishes that I had been looking forward to, and ended up eating the equivalent of 900g of meat. It was so delicious! ( ´ ▽ ` )

This day, I was in the mood for a hearty meal from the morning. So, I headed to the restaurant I had bookmarked. The restaurant I visited this time was "幸運豚人". When I entered, luckily the seat at the far right of the counter was available, so I sat down. It was very narrow, but that's the standard in Nakano. I poured cold water from the table pot, chose a dish from the menu, and paid in cash in advance. I ordered the Pork Shoulder Tonkatsu (150g) for 850 yen, with free refills for rice and soup. The rice, soup, and main dish were served in that order. The main dish plate contained Tonkatsu with plenty of garlic chip sauce, shredded cabbage, tomato, and pickled radish on the side. First, I tried the Tonkatsu. The thick-cut pork loin cooked at a low temperature had a satisfying chewiness and was enveloped in the joy of eating meat. The more I chewed, the more the flavor of the meat and garlic sauce mixed in my mouth, doubling the deliciousness. This was really tasty. The rice was a bit dry, but since I ordered a large portion, the quantity was sufficient. The pickled radish went well with it. The soup was just delicious. The remaining half of the Tonkatsu had lots of garlic chips on it, which seemed to give me energy and stamina. I dressed the shredded cabbage with the red French dressing from the table. The tomato slices were a nice touch too. I had a medium-sized rice and soup refill, and it was delicious. There was some sauce left on the plate, so I tried to scoop up as much as I could. It would have been perfect if there were some bread rolls. After finishing the meal in no time, I felt energized, maybe due to the garlic effect. The staff were all cheerful and friendly, which was a perfect score in that aspect. It felt really good. Next time, I wonder if I should try the rare cutlet or the pork ginger? Oh, it was so delicious. Thank you for the meal.
