(I have already visited the Akihabara 2nd store and the Kodenmacho store, which are affiliated with this store.) When I entered, the staff was busy preparing take-out bento boxes! I was asked to sit at a suitable table, so I sat at a 4-person table. I checked the menu and ordered the "Tanmen." I thought about adding the 100 yen mini fried rice, but decided against it. Water is self-service, with a glass and a pot of cold water on the table. The table condiments include soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, and GABAN black ground pepper. A wide show from Fuji TV was playing on the TV. It was served in about 4 minutes. The noodles were dark yellow curly thick noodles. They were cooked al dente, which I liked. The ingredients included pork, 1 shrimp, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, chives, bamboo shoots, and wood ear mushrooms. The pork and vegetables were lightly stir-fried before being simmered in the soup. The pork was slices of pork belly. It had a slightly tough texture and lacked flavor. However, there was a generous amount of pork. The shrimp was boiled in salt and had no odor, with a nice firm texture. The vegetables like cabbage had a crunchy texture. There was a large amount of vegetables—maybe over 400g? Even after eating a lot, the bowl seemed never-ending. The bamboo shoots were slices of canned bamboo shoots, soft and easy to eat. The wood ear mushrooms had a nice firm and chewy texture. The soup was a cloudy salty broth made from chicken bones, aromatic vegetables, and dried ingredients. It had a good umami taste without being too monotonous, possibly due to the dried ingredients used. The saltiness was a bit high, but it was fine because of the abundance of vegetables. There was a slightly higher amount of oil. I managed to finish the noodles and ingredients but left most of the soup as I was already full. I paid the bill to the female staff and left the store. Overall, there were a lot of vegetables, and even just the Tanmen was filling. The noodles were cooked al dente, which I personally liked. The soup, despite being from a Chinese-style restaurant, was tailored to Japanese tastes and was quite good. The service was average, and the cleanliness of the store was decent. I would visit again when I feel like eating lots of vegetables. Thank you for the meal!
